Where to stay in Madrid

Facilities: Very nice and new, near a high-end hotel. Service: The front desk spoke good English and was very quick. Environment: The environment was very nice, and the hotel's decor was very upscale and elegant. Cleanliness: Cleaned daily. Breakfast: Very good, delicious, and plentiful. However, there were unexplained deductions.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a beautiful pool and a decent gym workout room. The beds are a bit soft - would prefer firmer.

Would have been better if security guard didn’t stop me and grill me about whether I was a guest or not. Said they mistook me for someone else. Spoiled the experience of feeling welcomed. Happens I suppose.

The rooms by the road are very noisy. It is difficult to sleep. I recommend avoiding the odd numbers on the street side. The hotel has good location close to the Movistar arena, El Retiro and the Prado. Breakfast is really good.

The hotel is spacious and conveniently located near the Prado Museum and Retiro Park. There's also a small Carrefour supermarket right next door, and the breakfast is extensive.

What a fantastic hotel for our first night in Spain! It definitely set a high bar, as none of the subsequent hotels we stayed in were as good. Stayed here for 6 nights its right next to the train station which is nice, there is a full gym next door, and they have onsite parking all for a reasonable price.
