Hotel great - service great - staff great!

Great staff and very attentive. They were able to get us reservation with Botin on a short notice, they went even beyond that. Got us a reservation to a flamingo on the same day. Room was constantly cleaned and they welcomed us with a bottle of wine and Ham.

It was a very pleasant stay at Gran Meliá Fenix Overall due to extremely friendly services and staff. We booked a red level with a whirlpool in terrace, which cost approximately 600€ a night. When checking in the room, we were disappointed at the facilities and a small size of the room since it says 53sqm, which includes terrace. The bathroom had a tiny bath, which would be better to be a big modern...

This place was nice for our last night of our trip to Spain we stayed here in June of 2019 the rooftop pool was nice they had some drinks it looked like even though I was 6 it was a really nice hotel!

Great classic hotel in the middle of Salamanca. Excellent clean bathroom downstairs!

The location is excellent, with walks to the best shopping in Madrid. The Martini bar and restaurant is an interesting concept that blends a cozy lounge with sharp, clean Martini shaking bar. Give a try and receive a certificate of the exact number Martini made since they did their first 9 years ago and started to keep count. Mine was 48,834. I'm sure they will 50 K soon.

Decent place

Great little restaurant reasonably priced. My traveling companion Buddy Jesus, turned my water into 🍷 wine and Scotch saving me mucho Dinero. Breakfast buffet wasn't the best that I ever had but for the price of the hotel it satisfied me.

The location is in a great area away from the tourist traps. The staff on reception are exceptional and went above and beyond to help me and my wife with an issue renting a car. Couldn't recommend them more highly

Stayed here in Madrid. Clean and modern rooms. They have a pool but it is very small and kids can’t splash around or jump in (adults too!) they have towel service and chairs. The outside area has a decent roof top with some views. Near many restaurants, supermarkets, and taxis. We enjoyed our stay overall.

I was very happy with my stay in this hotel. I asked for a calm room and they gave me one looking to the courtyard and it was very quiet. Despite the fact that the hotel was packed with people, I did not have issues with the noise. The room was clean and spacious. There are taxis right next to the hotel, and the metro is nearby. Very nice hotel close to the MAD airport, the free shuttle is very convenient. If you have a conference at IFEMA, it is also close just a 10min taxi ride. Great location for the airport. From start to finish we had a great experience. About my only complaint was the breakfast area needed more help. Hot buffet food was low supply. Only 1 coffee machine was working. There were many tables that needed to be cleaned.

Very clean, good service, excellent food. My only gripe would be that they control the air conditioning and at night it becomes warm. With daily temperatures of 110° I would expect much cooler conditions. On the flip side our room had a balcony and was large enough to fit 10 people comfortably.

Used DayUse to stay here during a long plane to train layover and the service was amazing. The room was very clean and all our requests were followed. The hotel feels hyper 90s modern which was fun to see but everything is in such great shape it feels barely used. The staff was very kind to my husband and I. It’s pricey but I can’t fault it. The reception check in and first walk into the room was good. You would have to be a complete grouch to complain about this place. Over all our stay was very nice and comfortable. The only thing I would say is we noticed the women working at the front desk seemed cold and unfriendly. It’s like it was a bother to be helpful or to even smile or look at you in the face. Need to work on their customer service skills. The men however were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great spot with the Metro a few minutes walk away, and a taxi stop right out front. The breakfast was very good and had many choices. Everything was extremely clean and modern. My only complaint is they don't allow any outside food to be brought in to the hotel. I even got told my can of soda that I purchased in the lobby wasn't allowed anywhere in the pool area.

Me and my brother stayed her for a couple of nights. The hotel was lovely. Very modern and clean inside. Room was tidy and had everything we needed in. Pool area was very nice pool was cold however with the blazing heat this was fine! All staff we encountered were super helpful and friendly, water and apples available was a lovely touch as well as coffee station in the room! Would highly recommend

Beautiful place with a nice rooftop bar and swimming pool, in a calm neighborhood, rooms cleaned neatly daily. Its a little distanced from the city center but near metro stations that connects easily to the city with also some cool places to eat and drink around the hotel. I highly recommend it

My husband and I stayed for a night before flying out back to the US. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful. It seemed they mistakenly booked a double room for us, and so she swiftly without us even asking, upgraded us to a suite. Room was big, comfortable and clean. They offer shuttle service to the airport.

Stayed overnight before a long haul flight. Good location, close to airport. Beds comfortable, large bathroom with bath and shower. Room was clean and tidy. Been here several times since 2017. This stay was however not as enjoyable as the previous stays. For starters, there was no airport shuttle available this time. We came for a marathon and stayed for two nights. On Sunday morning, we briefly mentioned the race during breakfast. Just before we left the reception, they surprised us with snacks that we could enjoy after the race. That's the nicest gesture I've ever experienced from a hotel! Thank you once again, and we will definitely choose to stay at this hotel every time we visit Madrid.

Very basic room, no frills- a bed and a bathroom. If you want to purchase breakfast you can. It’s decent. The front desk was a bit rough as they questioned me about paying for breakfast which I did. Not sure why the breakdown of communication happened with the waiter. But it was unprofessional to doubt me- the paying guest. Great location. For the price it’s fine. No atmosphere- no frills.

Great location- we walked EVERYWHERE! Huge clean rooms, super comfortable bed. PLUS when you checked out - you can leave your luggage at the front desk and pick up whenever ready to go to the airport, plus there is a quiet lounge with restrooms where you can take break, repack your bags and head to the airport. Stayed in a room with a terrace. It was nice. Terrace furniture was comfortable. Room is normal small for Spain. Has a built in closet. Bed was comfortable with I believe a memory foam mattress. Loved this hotel! The breakfast was great, with lots of options to choose from - even options for diabetics. The churros with Chocolate were the best. The location was amazing as well - very close to everything. Close to historical places and to many shops. Very good experience: helpful staff, clean rooms, cozy lobby and breakfast corners. Everything is simple, by which I mean devoid of anything superfluous. A good place for those who mean to spend their day out and enjoy a clean room at night. Caution: not for early sleepers: the cafe-restaurant in front of the hotel is open until midnight.

Rooms are spatious, clean, modern looking, but there is no mini fridge or hair dryer inside the room. Breakfast is decent, there is ham, cheese, omlette, but the eggs never met the chicken, coffee and a few croissants.

I think some of the bad reviews are ridiculous. The location is amazing and staff is kind and courteous. Restaurant and breakfast is very good. Is it the Ritz? Great hotel, and one that I've stayed at a few times over the last ten years. All the staff I met were friendly and professional, and made us feel warmly-welcomed during our stay. It's in a fantastic location, surrounded by decent bars, cafés and restaurants. The key sights and sites are easily walkable from the Vincci Soho, and getting to it from the airport is also pretty easy.

Nice hotel in downtown. It’s a prime location close to everything. The breakfast is great, lots of options, feels like a fancy restaurant. The rooms are not big and want some refurbishment. We are frequent travellers all over the world. And this hotel does not meet the requirements of a 4 star hotel. It’s beautiful and modern in reception. With a nice bar and terrace. The food in the bar was a good standard and the service was ok. We did not eat in the restaurant or have breakfast as it was very over priced for limited selection when you can get breakfast locally for €9 for both of us...

Had a good and relaxing time here. Hotel has everything you need for a short or longer stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. Jose Antonio in particular at the bar is a good who takes care of you.

This is a very friendly place for a visitor from USA. The front desk is awesome and I would like to especially name two gentlemen in food services. Miguel Angel and Miguel are awesome, friendly and make an American feel at home. They both deserve a BIG raise for the way they make you feel welcome. Top notch bed and tv and decorations, but the minibar was empty, the main rain shower was offline and there weren't any toiletries or coffee (although there was a coffee machine). The UP Beautiful hotel, lovely room, breakfast was delicious, Service at bar was a bit slow as they were also cleaning the dining room but nice staff. overall a good hotel. Downs: it was a taxi trip from everywhere, heat was pushing 44c inner centre of Madrid, so too hot to walk anywhere as normal. If they had a pool it would of been a god send!

Great room at a great price! You are within walking distance of Chamartin station for all of the high-speed trains and if you walk a bit further, a store lined street that includes a self service laundromat.
