Inexpensive accomodations in Madrid

Fully Renovated Hostal I had a great stay in hostal with my family. It is fully renovated and all the amenities are new. Really close to city center and Atocha Station is only 5 min by walk

Highly Recommended and definitely will stay when I'm back in MADRID!

Good. It was difficult to find the entrance because the building was under construction. I stayed in a double room and it was neat and tidy.

The hotel reception did not provide me with any alternative and denied me a solution - I only got it when I went down to the hotel restaurant to work (even though there are practically no outlets available there) and someone, I believe the manager, sympathized and took me a decent chair to get to work from the bedroom

Don't expect a hotel with comfortable spaces - if you're traveling as a couple, you'll have big problems finding space even for your luggage. I had to move the bed around to open my suitcase and get my clothes inside

Great location and leisure, but don't expect comfort. Akeha is a newly opened hotel (in fact you can still find work building going on around the place) in one of the best (if not the best) location in Madrid

It's a shame they don't have a bar upstairs - in fact, during my stay, it wasn't even possible to put drinks on the room bill: you had to pay right the way on the spot which is pretty weird for a hotel

The bar opened on our last day and a lady was coming up to the pool taking peoples orders so they didn’t have to go down. Will definitely be booking this hotel again when I come to Madrid next

Simple room if I don't remember wrong about 55\60 euros, now, you have to see the room, huge bed, mini-hyphen, toilet and bathroom, super comfortable showers as well as the bathtubs, the suite is impressive, two floors, living room, table, mini bar, mini chain, bathroom in the same room separated only by walls and curtains on both sides, a very sensual, sexual and comfortable environment, I recommend...

Honestly, the last time I went, it was about 4 years ago. But I have such good memories of this hotel that I have to leave a review. Perfect location, it cannot be a more peaceful place

The room smell a little to cigarette. But was clean and cozy. Hot water, clean toilet. Very nice people in the front desk

Pros: * It is near the airport ( max 10e by Taxi ) * Supermarket is 5 min by foot * Quiet place Cons: * Room is too small ( but for 50e it's worth the stay) * Smoking should be prohibited in the hostel

Congratulations on your new hotel and your wonderful service! We arrived last night having booked a quadruple room (for my husband, children and myself) and were given a GORGEOUS new two bedroom apartment

Very spacious, modern and very clean room. In addition, the boy who attended us (he has family in Malaga) was super attentive and pleasant. We couldn't have breakfast on Sunday because it was the day they rested

Also add that the smart TV had free Netflix, a plus! The minimalist decoration, with simple but beautiful objects. And the spacious bathroom, with a good shower tray, great with its gel and shampoo

Excellent treatment from the staff, the ideal room with a very comfortable bed, we have rented an entire apartment at a very good price. The attached restaurant with a very good value for money

Small hotel with a single floor that you access by stairs, it does not have an elevator. We stayed one night just to rest and continue our trip the next day, and the stay was great

The issue of cleanliness, everything was perfect, the bed was extremely comfortable, the pillows were like the ones at home, viscoelastic, which made us rest like at home

Ostal is highly recommended and is a good antikision if you are going to move around Plaza del Sol

Staff are fluent in English, helpful from providing additional item request to explain how to travel in the city. Room is thoroughly cleaned to start, but last 2 days bathroom floor was not cleaned

A thoughtful host with best location. At the center of the old town, 10-15 mins walk to all major monuments and restaurants. Drinking water refill and tea kettle provided at reception

Only 1 small shelf in our 2-person room, hope 2nd one can be added. Still highly recommended, and will return for future visit

The Hostal Madrid in Puerta del Sol is an ideal location for sightseeing,shopping and dining out. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Although the room I had was small it was very clean and tidy and all in all good value for money. I would definitely stay there again

Really enjoyed our stay here, brief but intense. The Hostal was in an excellent position, not far from the museums, Retiro Park and the train station. The Hostal was cosy, comfortable beds and very clean rooms

The owner is really simpatica and gave us a set of keys so we could come and go as we pleased. We can defenitely reccomend it

It has a very good location, the treatment is very good and the room is clean, if we return to Madrid we will repeat there!

We had a private toilet and shower, the room with basic furniture, no wardrobe but plenty of hangers on a rail, good airconditioning, plenty of hot water, no refrigerator but there is one in the corridor you can use for a few things in order to have breakfast if you want to, a small electric kettle and a hairdryer in good working condition

There are several entrances to the patio you walk in. The Hostal is on the right one immediately after the main iron wrought door. Go to the 3rd floor and ring the WHITE doorbell not the black one if the door is closed

Bedding was good not too soft not too hard. Our room was overlooking the street so it was only slightly noisy but in the morning we enjoyed the birds singing. ADVICE: The Hostal is on the 3rd floor

the owner very kind and helpful also easy to communicate in english the room very nice and cheap near to metro n renfe station

But that was the only minus the place was warm , clean and bright. Would recommend for anybody on a budget

Hi my flight arrives late at midnight on a Thursday so will most probably get to the property past 1am/early morning. Would i still be able to check in?

Also ask them to show you how the keys work for both the front and flat doors as I had to ring the bell and wait for someone to open, not wanted to force the key to turn, after the lady showed me how it works, I was fully independent

I got older room at the beginning, I was moved to nicer one for my 2nd and 3rd night (hence the two different room photos). The location is awesome, right in the middle of city but it is quiet as it is just off busy road
