Due to the renovation getting to the room is a hassle and there is no ambiance in the makeshift lobby. The NH Collection on Jose Abascal is incredibly well located and appointed. The service is pleasant, courteous and prompt, and their breakfast buffet is varied and very tasty. Good city restaurant close to the airport and main highways in and out of the city. Good service and good infrastructure BUT mandatory paid parking should be managed differently. No alternative parking around pushes for a "mandatory" daily charge for car parking.

Beautifully appointed and clean hotel close to the airport with a free shuttle included. Breakfast is the best continental one we have had so far in Spain with hot items, pastries, fruit , etc. worth the money. Highly recommend. Also, the metro is relatively close so If you choose to either go into central Madrid, or drop off a rental car like we did it is easy to get back.

The location is excellent, with walks to the best shopping in Madrid. The Martini bar and restaurant is an interesting concept that blends a cozy lounge with sharp, clean Martini shaking bar. Give a try and receive a certificate of the exact number Martini made since they did their first 9 years ago and started to keep count. Mine was 48,834. I'm sure they will 50 K soon.

It is a bit far from the city center, but there are some bus stops conveniently located near the hotel. Also, there is also a Carrefour Express about a 5-minute walk. Good location, friendly staff, price is a bit high for the facilities but it’s a good place for short stays where you want to be near Campo and the city. Also allowed us to check in 5 hours early (with no notice!) due to sudden changes in travel plans at no extra price, which earns a 5/5 in my book.

Location, location, location! Friendly staff, nice rooms. The spa is nice after a long vacation or to make you more comfortable for your plane ride.

Very helpful front desk (printing an urgent doc in the middle of the night). Confortable bed and clean spaces. The gym is small but fairly equipped. Breakfast okay (enough choices but far to be for 4* and some items disappear very fast during the morning: e.g. smoked salmon). The location is fantastic.

While it's a good hotel overall, the lack of adequate air conditioning negates most of the positive aspects of the hotel. EDIT: revised my rating to reflect the fixed AC.

Centrally located in the theater district. Easily accessed from the airport via the metro. Good shopping, food, drink, and coffee options nearby including a three storey mercado with tons of street food options. Room was spacious, newly renovated, and meticulously clean. Not as good as I was hoping for kids as their pool was for the spa, had limited availability times, and for relaxing - not splashing...
