Ibis Madrid Aeropuerto Barajas, Madrid1 / 50

Madrid, Avenida General 49 🧭 Map
Simple yet professional and accessible. Near the airport, shops and restaurants. And a major grocery store is right next door. But the best part is they have an incredible buffet breakfast for less than 13 euros! And it starts at 4 am for us worldwide travelers! I totally recommend this hotel.
On the plus side, great location near the airport for a fair price, friendly people, good food, clean, nice AC, and good beds. On the negative side the rooms are small, no fridge, no safe, no closet and only two scratchy towels provided. Minimalistic. Some good restaurants nearby.
The staff in reception was great, caring and very helpful. The hotel is nice and clean and the rooms are comfortable. Perhaps not the greatest location if you want to do things in the centre of the city, although it is easily accessible but a great location when you have to catch an early flight in the morning.
Always a good stay at Ibises. Room was nice, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always a good deal. This particular Ibis was right on top of a grocery store, and there were lots of good restaurants nearby.
‏A hotel is close to airport at terminal 4, you can be reached by bus at a nominal price. The hotel is animal friendly and especially dogs may not suit to some. But what distinguishes the employees are kind and helpful.
Outstanding facilities for the price! The room was spacious and clean. It's also just a walking distance from MAD airport which is great, although it didn't feel like there were too many dining options around. Good for a short layover/connection in Madrid! Kudos to the front desk team who were kind and helpful!

Very kind and attentive staff, good breakfast, perfect location, comfy beds and big clean bedroom and bathroom! We found the perfect hotel to come when we are in Madrid!
It's a sweet little spot with good sized rooms, some with a terrace (a friend's) or small balcony (mine). Attractive neo-classical 20s building, this ain't the Ritz (it's a few blocks away) but very good for the money -- getting value here. Onsite breakfast, rooftop terrace, GREAT front desk, friendly and competent. PLUS in an amazing district full of dizzying alleys, nightlife, art, and every kind...
Hotel was centrally located. Was clean and maintained pretty well. Staff was super friendly. The room was large enough for two people to walk around. Bathroom was large. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and view atop hotel was nice. For the price it was a steal.
The hotel is centrally located. It is a few steps away to Puerta Del Sol, 500 meters from Gran Via, and very close, as well to Plaza Mayor. The people at the reception were also very helpful. The room is clean and linens and towels were fresh. I recommend this hotel to those looking for inexpensive but good accommodation.
Great location! You're at a walking distance from everything. The staff was very friendly. There was one lady in particular who was so incredibly nice and helpful, Mikaela!! Spacious room, I would say the only thing that was missing was a fridge. Very good overall experience.
Todas las habitaciones son temáticas, el trato por parte de los trabajadores del hotel es magnífico. Si tuviese que poner un "pero": se oye mucho ruido procedente de otras habitaciones y pasillo

Great location and simple room. Has the bare necessities, not the most comfortable (especially the beds/pillows) but fine for a couple nights. Walls are paper thin
The room was pretty basic, yet the location is very central. The service was a bit cold.
Well located ( it's two blocks from Gran Via ) and clean. There's a safe in the room but no kettle with tea or coffee in it. However there are two vending machines in a comfy lobby downstairs. There's also a microwave and computers to be shared. The room has a tv and a device to heat the room.
I stayed for bout 5-6 days, booked it on booking n while staying I asked for 1 more night n it was about 60 or 65 euros, which is much cheaper when I book online, so recommended that you can ask them directly for a better price. It was a very good location as you can walk to granvia or to primark in less than 3 minutes n it stays just behind primark. They clean your room daily if you hang the sign...
Every time I visit Madrid I stay here, you can't find a better location, close to almost every tourist attraction. The only thing it lacks: a tourist hustle and bustle. Authentic bars and restaurants without "tourist tax", small grocery stories, laundromats, everything is a few steps away. The staff is super friendly, the price is reasonable, and the wifi speed is the best I have ever experienced in...
Not luxurious but a great option for being next to literally everything in Madrid’s center. Totally recommend. Also balcony is nice.

Nice cosy hotel in the heart of Madrid. It's really good for short stay. Unfortunately, rooms are not big, but it's enough for travellers. Very friendly stuff speak English well.
Very nice and clean. Friendly stuff and great location for a journey in Madrid, close to everything a tourist should visit here.
Situated in the heart of Madrid it is a good place for someone who wants to live in the center of the city. It gets very noisy at night.

Lovely staff and rooms lots of bars nearby so very noisy all night
Very nice hotel in the center of Madrid, clean and nice personal.
Excellent location and simplicity with check-in, breakfast and 24 hour desk assistance. Due to the central location, it got quite noisy during nights since the local bar life went on until around 4 in the morning. As someone who wanted to spend time in the city, the price and included breakfast were the strong points.
I liked the location very much, everything was nearby. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The beds were comfy and the room was very clean. The room was way smaller that what i imagined from the pictures. The bed was also quite small. There was no designated area for smokers, i had to go outside every time i wanted to do that. Problem was that during our trip it mostly rained and i had to smoke...
Great location and good service. The room is cleaned up every day and they change all the towels, bed is comfortable. The only problem is the acoustic isolation, there are several bars around that make a lot of noise during the night/ morning. So people with heavy sleep will be ok, otherwise I'd look somewhere quieter.

I trust the IBIS brand and it never disappoint me. This hotel is so clean and cozy. Employees are so kind. I enjoyed my trip in Madrid a lot. I recommend this place:)
Ibis promises, Ibis delivers. This one, on the plus side, is at a marvelous location in Malasaña hip neighborhood and has the most lovely staff possible (thanks to Celine for making our stay so pleasant). Rooms were super comfortable, super clean, well maintained and spacious. The breakfast buffet is pretty normal but price is decent (9,50/person). Just keep in mind the restaurant area is small and...

The staff was very nice, they kept our bags the first day before we were able to check in. The place is in a great location. We were able to walk to everything that we wanted to visit. The hotel itself is like a little hole in the wall, our room was very very small but did have a kitchenette. The bathroom was also quite small. Our room was like an attic type of room so it wasn’t as suitable for the...
We were given a huge room, with windows overlooking the square, and a second floor attic that we mostly didn't use. Staff was friendly. Location was fairly convenient for the metro, and pretty quiet. We only had a single night, arriving fairly late in the afternoon, and leaving very early in the morning, before breakfast. No idea about breakfast - and we weren't offered a take-away. (This was our last...
Really good Hotel! We got a upgrade and so we had a wonderfull room in the top floor with two rooms, a livingroom/kitchen and a bedroom. Beds are comfortable and everything really clean. The Breakfast is good but nothing really special! As it is really in the center, it is perfect for a city trip.
Lovely!! We spent there 3 nights, the room and the hotel is very modern and clean, the room had even a little kitchen. Also the breakfast is really cool with all kind of options. I really liked the fact they have real and fresh orange juice!!
Awesome boutique hotel in a great location. We were lucky enough to have a lovely 2level room with 2 balconies overlooking the plaza. The first level had full bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and balconies and the top level had another toilet, day bed and tv. Comfortable accommodation in a convenient place for reasonable price. There is many bars and restaurants in the area. Rooms are clean with everything one needs. Standard size, similar to that in other hotels. Big TV in the room, comfortable bed, safe, kettle and coffee maker. Nice view from the top floor. Breakfast was included in the price and quite good. Nice variety of things to eat.
This hotel is in a great location with great views over the bull ring. Near the metro station so easy to get into the central areas. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
Ibis hotels are pretty standard so you know what you will get!! Clean, decent bed, and fair price. The bed is nice and the shower also OK!! The only issue with my room is the lack of power plugs 🔌!! There is only one extension (check photos) which works for multiple devices but the cable is not long enough for the phone to charge at night by the bed. Also the A/C is at maximum and the room is still...
I stayed for 5 nights in May 24. Great Ibis hotel just a few metres from the metro and bus stops. Lots of cafés and bars in the area and hotel is opposite the bullring. Nice room, nice bar, excellent buffet breakfast and friendly helpful staff.
Very well located ibis, right in front of a Metro station with two lines and loads of bus routes nearby. Rooms are within the ibis standards, with no surprises. A very minor issue is the lack of power plugs: there is just one next to the desk. Breakfast is very good with nice variety.
We fully enjoyed our stay with an Ibis hotel again. Sufficiently sized room with a very roomy bathroom and shower. The location was very good. A metro station is within a 2 minute walk. Various busses can be had within a 5 minute walk or less. Various parks are close by. The whole area is filled with shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy connections to Charmartin. One of the best place to be when you're in Madrid. Place is nice and clean. Just a thing to add just for the future, maybe change the breakfast menu everyday like add eggs or other kinds of food but overall best place to stay.
Nice hotel, disappointed that they couldn't take payment from our office, other than that good.
Clean. Close to metro. Direct line to city center. We could have needed extra pillows. There was only 1 pillow per person. The price without breakfast was fair. But 10€ per person for breakfast was a little much. It is a buffet, but quite meager considering the choice around the hotel and in the city. So only considering the price for the breakfast, I felt the price value was not completely justified
Excellent central location for allowing exploration of all parts of Madrid. The rooms are clean and tidy, the AC rocks and as a Londoner I was in LOVE with the spectacular water pressure in the showers. Metro station right in front of the hotel if you can’t be asked to walked. Not a bad place to call home for a couple days!
Clean but the rooms are very small. Friendly staff, "poor" breakfast. The location is great, 10 minutes walk to Santiago Bernabeu.

Great hotel for the value. The staff is very helpful, and the hotel is located near the centre and walking distance from all main attractions in Madrid.
My wife and I were on in Madrid for two nights, but Roberto and the other staff members made the stay. We arrived very late, about 2300, due to flight delays but Roberto was super helpful. The room was clean and the location was perfect.
Great location, a 2 minute walk from the Metro. Our room is fantastic. After a series of small sized rooms, it was wonderful to stay in this spacious room. The staff have been incredibly helpful from giving us plenty of locations to visit, to assisting me with naseau and simple remedies to help clear it up. Would highly recommend and definitely would stay here again
We stayed at Artrip Hotel for a few days and the place is amazing. Really close to landmarks and walking distance to some really nice restaurants and the Plaza Mayor. Rooms were nice as well. But beyond this what was most good was the staff. The owner Miguel was especially nice and gave us a lot of advice and tips on how to best spend our days in Madrid.
A great hotel experience that I would highly recommend. Family owned and thoughtfully set up, the people who work here are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are immaculate and spacious; the bed super comfortable and the shower pressure incredible. And of course, very well located. I have already recommended to various people. Thank you Artrip! Overall nice budget hotel. Clean, basic rooms, comfortable bed and powerful shower. However, Wi-Fi was poor (at least in the room we were staying), no signal strength at all. Also had a disappointing check-in experience, where we were ignored for 5 minutes while the 2 staff members did a handover. It was a terrible first impression.
It was good till I was asked to leave because I forgot to extend .my stay. But overall good hotel and budget friendly.
Nice basic hotel. Supermarket and a fancy shopping centre across the road. Stayed 3 evenings. Small room but clean. Great location. Metro 500 m. Improvement: difficult to find. We walked straight past it. Needs more obvious sign at the front. No fridge in the room. No heating/air con control from the room. No toiletries except toilet paper.
Excellent location, good hotel, great costumers service, I didn't like the bathroom much, it seems that there was mold in my bathroom

Location is outstanding. Staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is not nearly as nice as I expected. Room was very plain (more like a college dorm room) I only gave it a 4 based on staff and location.
Excellent cozy Hotel near by Plaza del Sol, great services, friendly staff, best location in Madrid, close to Metro Subway and Train Cercanias, easy to get to from the Airport or Train Stations.... Highly recommended to all travelers visiting Madrid.
The good: Outstanding location for shopping and touring, friendly staff, clean rooms. The bad: noisy street at night and the cigarette smoke from outside seeps in on the rooms that are on the street.
Staff was friendly and informative. Location was definitely key and we arrived just in time for new years.
Good location and nice stuff. Vary weak air condition and low stream of water in the shower with a tap that makes it very dificult to adjust hot/cold water. But overall a fair price for what you get.
