I like to concentrate on the hotel bar, as someone who has worked in hotels before and now enjoys to staying at them, I especially like to check out the bar
Great experience at the Palace. Even if I only stayed one night, it was very pleasant. Location is great and the hotel has all the amenities you could need. The staff is friendly and the room is amazing 100% will return
Top hotel ! + Location History and legacy Cupola lounge Renovated hotel & rooms Great room service Good value - No spa Not enough night staff
The environment is very clean and comfortable, and the attitude of the front desk staff is also very good. I highly recommend staying here!
The rooms are huge, we loved staying at this hotel. Amazing staff, amazing breakfast, great location. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat
Excellent! On the other hand, I went to the breakfast hall every morning, but the receptionist was so uninterested in his work that I couldn't remember his name even though I met him every morning for 7 days, and he had no hospitality, so I felt bad every morning

Just visited Madrid for the first time and this hotel certainly added to a fantastic trip in a wonderful city. The hotel is stunning both inside and out with an extra touch of magic with the Christmas decorations
We visited the rooftop bar for some drinks and food and it was incredible. The views over Madrid are simply breathtaking
A couple of issues for considering, other than opening the window, it was difficult to keep a comfortable temperature as the air conditioning was off ( I understand this is due to regulations), so on occasion the room was too hot
Breakfast was simply sublime, such a fantastic range of good quality foods and drinks and all overseen and managed by a great team of friendly welcoming staff, thank you My final thoughts are on the staff
The breakfast was outstanding – delicious with a wide variety of options. The staff, including security, reception, housekeeping, and restaurant personnel, were all friendly and very helpful
The rooftop terrace is simply spectacular—a must-see at sunset! The rooms are spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the comforts you’d expect from a top-tier hotel

To the Palace walk for 10 minutes!!! A supermarket and gym in the neighbouring building
The rooms were comfy but not that big. The location is good, because there is a bus and metro station crossing the street. You can walk 15 minutes to Gran Via, so good location at all
Officially four stars and a slightly naff breakfast, but the reception staff were polite, efficient and provided the sort of service you'd expect at a five star hotel
Stayed here for 6 nights its right next to the train station which is nice, there is a full gym next door, and they have onsite parking all for a reasonable price
Suggestion:- ignore the complaining moaners that it's not ultra- modern. This is Madrid, both old and new! We enjoyed our stay
The house keeping staff was great and the turn down service was done well daily, the room was clean. Although the bed is a little bit worse for wear

The gym is there if you need it, though it’s pretty underwhelming (I usually skip hotel gyms anyway). What really makes this hotel shine is the location—walking distance to just about everything
The service throughout the stay was exceptional. Thoughtful touches like complimentary water, a welcome treat upon arrival, and well-stocked amenities made us feel genuinely cared for
The pool is stylish and peaceful, but it’s not super kid-friendly—limited to six people at a time and requires a reservation, so we only used it once
The breakfast was better than expected, with plenty of made-to-order options, and the tapas in the afternoon were the perfect snack between outings
Rooms are spacious and we'll designed with doors that hide your mess in near compartments. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Super centrally located and reasonable prices for what they offer
Melia Madrid Princesa is a fantastic choice for families who want comfort, convenience, and great service in the heart of Madrid

The bar is cozy with leathered seat in a very british style and the drinks are generously pourred. The staff is very friendly and they have excellent bartenders
Great service! The room with a terrace and street view on the 7th floor is very good
Free club drinks and food, delicious! The old gentleman in the club is very cute! The front desk gentleman even drew a suitcase for me to communicate with because of the language barrier, haha
We been at the Wellington Hotel for the Le Max Spa, and everything went quite well
Our guest loves the room and the service, they will definitely book again.
Fabulous hotel with lovely old world ambiance and service. Great location-close to shops restaurants and museums. Very quiet rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. Also nice to have a pool and spa

and the most important thing in a hotel - wonderful staff A special thank you to the lovely Cristina Anca that was always kind and smiling and to Gunther, which was very helpful and freindly we had an awesome vacation (Adi and Sharon Bibi (Israel
Amazing hotel and staff ! Breakfast was very good. We had a small issue and it was sorted out as soon as they got to know about it. Very well handled by Maria. We had a wonderful stay at Barcelo Torre de Madrid.
Super close to the palace and other central places. Spacious rooms with good modern style. Friendly front desk recommended good local restaurants. Kids love the frequent small presents (chocolates fruits etc)
Checked in at 3:30pm and the room was not ready even though they had informed us that check in was at 2pm. Room is a 1 star given that I have no room to even look at since i couldn’t check in
A special thank you to Laura, who went above and beyond to help create a memorable birthday surprise for my wife! From start to finish, everything was perfection
Service was absolutely atrocious by the concierge. We were attended by someone who was clearly new and was extremely slow in keying in our details

Madrid, Plaza de España n.5 🧭 Map
This is the perfect location for exploring Madrid. Everything is walking distance (and there are multiple public transport options if not). The rooms are spacious and perfectly clean. The service is warm and discreet
Let’s start with the hospitality: everyone is genuinely so kind and will go out of their way to ensure you have absolutely everything you need at all times. Now to the rooms & amenities: Just immaculate
The rooms are beautifully maintained and have endless amenities throughout (toiletries, robes, slippers, stocked mini bar, espresso machine, turn down, remote-control black-out shades)
The mango was buttery soft and there was tons of avocado and other fruits many hotels don’t have. All the staff were so helpful with everything both before and during our visit
When people wanted a taxi, the staff had one for them in 30 seconds. My only complaint is that my room didn’t have a glass door the entire way next to the shower, so it can get wet
I wish USA hotels would be this great! Walking distance to all the activities, wonderful restaurants amd shopping! Zara was half block away amd Pull & Bear just a short walk

Madrid, Gran Vía, 53 🧭 Map
Very comfortable beds. Bathroom is okay. Clean. A nice lobby in the very center of Madrid. The Sky Bar is awful… old school look, slow service, bad cocktails and even worst food. Really a downturn.
We booked this trip before COVID and have only just made it - family and timing just got in the way. So glad we didn’t change our plans. The weather was beautiful and Hotel Emperador was exceptional
I had an amazing time. Pool was great. View was amazing! And most of all our waiter Manuel was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. If you’re ever in Madrid I’d always recommend going here!!!
Nestled in the heart of Madrid, the Emperador Hotel is lauded for its prime location, with guests appreciating the short walks to numerous attractions, eateries, and shops
Though some find the breakfast ambiance lacking and the pricing steep, the premium rooms are generally considered a good value
While the rooms earn praise for their comfort and cleanliness, opinions on service and noise insulation are mixed

Honorable mention to Adrian who was an over the top waiter and made a considerable difference attending to our needs during breakfast. We actually missed his presence the day he wasn’t working during our stay!
Great staff and very attentive. They were able to get us reservation with Botin on a short notice, they went even beyond that. Got us a reservation to a flamingo on the same day
Room was constantly cleaned and they welcomed us with a bottle of wine and Ham
We found the location excellent as it is close to the museums (if you don't mind a walk, which we do not), and a lot of great eating (which we also like to do), and also some pretty good shopping (those mostly high-end designers with an occasional Mango mixed in); fantastic neighborhood though! I'd definitely consider staying here again!
The highlight of staying at Fenix was the surprise goodbye gifts, which came with a bottle of wine and strawberries to our room. As said, due to amazing staff and services, it was very memorable
It was a very pleasant stay at Gran Meliá Fenix Overall due to extremely friendly services and staff. We booked a red level with a whirlpool in terrace, which cost approximately 600€ a night

NH Ribera del Manzanares Hotel, Madrid1 / 37
8.3
Madrid, Paseo Virgen del Puerto, 57 🧭 Map
Every time we spend a few days in Madrid, our first option is a quiet hotel near Manzanares, which is also well connected to the center. Number 50 brings you closer to Puerta del Sol
It is a bit far from the city center, but there are some bus stops conveniently located near the hotel. Also, there is also a Carrefour Express about a 5-minute walk
The location is 20 min walk away from the city center and this makes the location very calm and quite. You'll surely enjoy the stay! If you're taking the Uber from the Airport, it would be around €21
We stayed in a room with a river view and it was amazing. The area around the hotel was safe and we were able to take a walk even after sunset
The only cons were not things that could be changed, such as the distance to city center, shower only without bath, and the apparent traditional lack of washcloths, which weren't provided in any of the 4 different hotels where we stayed in Spain
Great hotel! The beds are really comfortable, the stuff is super friendly and we loved the location which was quiet and a 30 minute walk to the city centre was perfect for us

Great hospitality and location ! The room we were in had one quirk - the bathroom had a speaker that played what was going on TV. Other than that the breakfast buffet was great, the staff were very helpful and thorough
The hotel is packed with art work, some replicas of Spain’s greatest artists whjxh immediately creates a warm vibe. We had 3 female staff-2 Paula’s and Devin’s who were unbelievable helpful, kind and informed
We would not have had the stay in Madrid we did without their advice and tips. The hotel has a shuttle to take you out -if it’s free, but the location of the hotel is in the middle of everything
This elegant hotel is a delight from the moment guests arrive. A sensual fragrance is the first thing that hit us as we walked in, along with the towering ceilings and old world yet modern feel
It’s brilliant and a beautiful jogging path for mornings and the main shopping strip 2 minutes walk. Incredible breakfast buffet, and the Spanish restaurant is one of Spain’s best
There is a huge garden which is a delight in hot days. And the Thai spa is absolutely brilliant-makes such sense to have Thai people giving massages as they are so skilled

The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate and clean. The TV only has spanish channels but that's OK. The hotel is extremely central to metro and walking distance from many sites and sights. Lovely staff.
The hotel is in a grate location in the center of the city. The problem is you can hear everything from the rooms
Stayed in a room with a terrace. Terrace furniture was comfortable. Room is normal small for Spain. Bed was comfortable with I believe a memory foam mattress. Must insert room key to get lights and HVAC to work
A special thanks to Paula at reception : her kindness and professionalism made our stay even better. She went out of her way to help us with everything we needed. Highly recommended 👌 Mohamed & Siham
Some reviewers complain of thin walls… but this has not been my experience. The location is outstanding on top of it. The front desk, housekeeping and all the staff are so friendly and helpful
And, I really like this hotel. It is more like a boutique hotel. Not a super big hotel which I prefer. The rooms are not huge but well appointed and very clean

Nice modern hotel with good service and right at the city centre!
Lovely hotel right in the center. It’s clean and spacious. Many restaurants and shops around, super convenient.  We enjoyed our stay.
I find this hotel through Rick Steves tour book. To my surprise, this is one bed room apartment with 2 toilets and separate living room with sofa. Very clean, bed is comfortable. Only problem is weak wifi signal
Everything is good.  Except the bed is too small for couples I don’t know why ? is smaller then queen size bed.   Breakfast is good everything you need is almost there, especially churros is the best so far.
Everything was great and the staff even helped us to pre-packed for our breakfast as we had a train to catch next day early in the morning ! Bed is very big and comfy too !

Good hotel in the center. A bit loud. Excellent breakfast
Stayed at this hotel for close to a week where we had internal meetings. Clean rooms, decent breakfast. Place is conveniently located in the center of attractions making it accessible
If not for its central location from everything we want to visit, we might look for another hotel to go to
Great location, room size was what you'd expect of a city hotel. Room itself was modern and well appointed with views of Gran Via but soundproofed enough to keep sound out
Excellent value for the price, since the hotel is within a short walk of all major attractions in the heart of Madrid. There is also the Gran Via metro stop right outside
I loved my stay at the tryp Gran via because it was in a good location in town, has good wifi and has good rooms. Definitely would recommend!

It was amazing to be back, fantastic rooms and location! Much appreciated for personal welcome by Hotel Manager 🙂 Food and service at garden restaurant was fantastic! And the most exciting surprise was during the check out, when I met Bruno, who was exceptional during my stay in Milan
My stay at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid was nothing short of flawless. From the moment I stepped through the doors to the moment I departed, every experience was handled with impeccable care, warmth, and elegance
A special thank you to Sebastián, the doorman, who greeted me every day with a kind smile and unmatched courtesy. His presence at the entrance was the perfect first impression of the hotel’s gracious spirit
This is where the Mandarin Oriental heritage truly comes alive—fulfilling its promise 100% in every possible way. The concierge team deserves the highest praise
And at breakfast—what an extraordinary start to each day! Pilar and Mariana made every morning feel personalized and genuinely special
Their attention to detail, thoughtful recommendations, and sincere hospitality set a new standard for excellence

I truly believe its almost impossible to find a more centric and emblematic Hotel. If your looking for a "hidden gem" this is it!!!! The rooms and views are spectacular
very good location, if you want to stay in the very center of Madrid, this will be the best choice. the rooftop bar also great, and staff were friendly.
Good location right at the center of Madrid and halfway Gran Via
Beautiful and comfortable vintage-style hotel, perfectly decorated and arranged thematically around the "Capitol Theatre" theme - we felt like divas in those rooms! 🤩 The staff was also extremely pleasant and helpful, and of course the location ideal, right in the middle of Gran Via in the beating heart of Madrid
The room is comfortable and we were luck to get an upgrade to a room with a balcony facing Gran Via. The hotel design is avante grade whichbis a plus for those who apprexiate this architectura nstyle
Supermarket is just 1 minute opposite hotel. A lot of shops and restaurants around. El corte engles shopping mall 2 minute away. Taxi always stops in front of hotel, and next to a metro station

Perfect location, wonderful team, great hotel to have a mix of simple luxury and fun. Eduardo was the best for restaurant recommendations. Stayed in the energy room, very quiet and comfortable. All around great!
Rooftop is beautiful & hotel guests get priority. We got the room with a balcony, which I would suggest- as the standard rooms would probably be a lot more dark without the light from the balcony
We enjoyed our stay here, with literally nothing negative to say. They let us check in early after an overnight flight from NY & the staff was friendly throughout our whole stay
Great location, we walked, took Ubers, used the metro- all of it. The restaurant downstairs is gorgeous & they made the best espresso martini I’ve ever had
Very nice hotel. The room was very modern. We liked our room at the 4th floor a lot. The staff is very friendly. We would go there definetely again.

My stay at Hotel Catalonia Gran Vía Madrid was overall very good. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a great city view, making it a fantastic deal for the price, especially in the heart of Madrid
If you want to stay in a patio room at this price, go for it. It's a rip off. Two windows open, noisy and patio. I don't know what a patio room is in Europe. Search it on Baidu. It's a rubbish hotel.

I stayed again at Vincci Soho Madrid and, as always, it was a great experience. The service was excellent, and this time I was given a slightly upgraded room in another wing of the hotel, which made my stay even better
The location is fantastic – right in the heart of the Barrio de Las Letras, close to everything: great restaurants, museums, and walking distance to the main sights
There is coffee/tea in the room but they only offer cups that are made from a mixture of paper and plastic, stoneware would be better, especially for a 4* hotel
Other facilities in the room are good, although cotton pads would be nice to have. The hotel is very conveniently located and quiet at night
The room looks amazing, the bed is nice and sturdy. Water in the room is only offered in a small plastic bottle on the first day
The bed was very comfortable The room was also very nice The breakfast was good, with a wide variety of ham and cheese, fresh fruits and vegetables, and sweet pineapples The lady at Checkin was also very nice
