There is only one elevator and used by the guests and room service. sometimes I have to use stairs or wait long for the elevator

Great location in Plaza independencia, a lot of bars and restaurants in the area and it's very close to center ( 10 minutes walk)

The size of the room, cleaning, welcoming, service and location was outstanding, the staff was amazing starting from Mario, the checking in was very smooth he gave us upgrade room

Service is great at the reception, valet parking available (you need to call the hotel once you are in the bus station). Rooms are clean and have good space

👍 The room was cleaned everyday when you left, your rest was never interrupted for this task. Central to city and metro/buses 5/10 min walk. Fantastic, can’t wait to return

We came for a marathon and stayed for two nights. On Sunday morning, we briefly mentioned the race during breakfast. Just before we left the reception, they surprised us with snacks that we could enjoy after the race

PLUS when you checked out - you can leave your luggage at the front desk and pick up whenever ready to go to the airport, plus there is a quiet lounge with restrooms where you can take break, repack your bags and head to the airport

I stayed 4 days in this hotel and i have nothing bad to say about it. From the welcoming the staff has been helpful and caring, the location is amazing, the room was clean, not too small and the bed was comfortable

Gooood option to stay in city center. Everything is nearby Workers staff are soooooooooo friendly and goood. They know English which is really good and makes you feel very responsible

Excellent location and simplicity with check-in, breakfast and 24 hour desk assistance. Due to the central location, it got quite noisy during nights since the local bar life went on until around 4 in the morning

There was no designated area for smokers, i had to go outside every time i wanted to do that. Problem was that during our trip it mostly rained and i had to smoke in the rain, so maybe that was the biggest discomfort

Even though I didn't know the hotel was under renovation, our stay was absolutely lovely. We got in very early in the morning and the staff was accommodating, let us have breakfast and check in early

Centrally based hotel, extremely convenient, good breakfast and clean/modern room. A little noisy occasionally but would add you are in the city centre

The location is just awesome and feels like you are a king under all the premium hotels in the neighborhood. We only paid 84 euros per night for a triple room which is just crazy for the location

The bathroom door can't be locked, but there were no gaps where you can see through as I saw in other reviews. The staff was very friendly and greeted us every time

Very good position in the centre of madrid. 2 minutes walking from Del Prado, Reina Sofia and Retiro and 10 minutes walking from Chueca and Malesana

We loved the clean, quiet room with a HUGE shower (wall mount and wand) and a well-located place to hang up our clothes. After a day of sightseeing in busy Madrid, it was a pleasure to relax in the room

This access street is usually saturated with cars and very busy on weekends. The curtains did not close completely, the plinths were chipped, the use of time and a long etc

I stayed one night, and I was impressed with the size of the room and all the amenities. Service is friendly The breakfast buffet offers a large variety and delicious food. The location is central.

The bar is cozy with leathered seat in a very british style and the drinks are generously pourred. The staff is very friendly and they have excellent bartenders

The rest: My room in the 2nd floor was surprisingly large, which was surprising for Madrid Central. However, it needs fresh paint as there was many marks and stains on the wall

Positives: very well situated for both the train station and main sites, with a good breakfast and a good sized room and bathroom with friendly staff: Negatives: it can be a bit noisy in the rooms (little street noise but limited internal sound proofing)

I arrived at 1pm checkin time but the room was not ready so waited around 30 minutes, the staff did however put my bags in the room so a minor inconvenience

Great location for sightseeing, close to most of Madrids tourist hot spots. The rooms are quiet at night, no disturbance from outside despite its central location

If will get you breakfast, refreshments, snacks and spirits until 23. 00 every day in a separate lounge. I also experienced the staff as very helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone

The hotel itself is very fresh and the interior design is very elegant. There is also a rooftop pool to be enjoyed during summers. When booking make sure to get the 'red level' access

Beautiful hotel! Stayed in Jr. Suite and it was perfect. Good restaurants and bars in walking distance. Hotel bar was great, a bit pricey, but not unexpected at a hotel of this caliber.

Great staff and very attentive. They were able to get us reservation with Botin on a short notice, they went even beyond that. Got us a reservation to a flamingo on the same day

The highlight of staying at Fenix was the surprise goodbye gifts, which came with a bottle of wine and strawberries to our room. As said, due to amazing staff and services, it was very memorable

Honorable mention to Adrian who was an over the top waiter and made a considerable difference attending to our needs during breakfast. We actually missed his presence the day he wasn’t working during our stay!

The rooms are not very big but they're clean as are the en-suite bathrooms. The pool was closed while we were there but opens later into the summer we were told. The breakfast is excellent and caters to most tastes

Sitting here in the bar waiting for the taxi to run us both back to the airport. Both by wife and I agree that the hotel is ideally located to all the local attractions of Madrid. The staff very friendly and helpful

Was a nice hotel located within minutes of Plaza Majoré. Not a bad drive to the airport (20-30 minutes). In house cafe/bar is somewhat lacking in variety but good for a quick bite

Main dining for breakfast is top notch and offers many different options

I also had the pleasure of meeting the commercial director, Raul Guerra, who showed us the other accommodations and spoke with such love and enthusiasm, sharing the hotel's stories, making me even more eager to recommend it to our clients

At dinner, when my father-in-law commented on the delicious cherries and my wish to buy some the next day, the waiter, Mr. Julio, brought a bowl full of cherries. How could one not love such a hotel?

I absolutely loved my stay at Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid. The property itself is stunning, rooms are nice and spacious and be best part is excellent service and attendance of all of the staff

She had a poor command of english and could not explain the situation to us that our room was not ready. She was consistently asking a supervisor for assistance, who did not help speed the process up at all

Every single staff member was courteous, polite, knowledgeable, and personable. I have never seen so many selections in a hotel restaurant/ buffet. So glad we were able to stay here during our short time in Madrid

Checked in at 3:30pm and the room was not ready even though they had informed us that check in was at 2pm. Room is a 1 star given that I have no room to even look at since i couldn’t check in

The lovely lady works at the reception and did a very good job. She was very likeable from day one. She always asked if everything was OK. I really hope that your superiors will give you preference

While she offered us water, my partner found this lady, Cristal to be rude. When asked why was the room not ready at 3:30pm, all she said was that “check in is at 2pm”

And so…? if check in starts at 2pm shouldn’t the rooms be ready already? Agree with another reviewer that the service gives me 3 stars or less vibes

The facilities were also excellent, I ended up using the gym daily (pre booked at Front Desk, do not forget) as it was excellent and modern, I enjoyed working out all alone! The room was a good size, bed & pillows (3-unit set) was super comfortable I had a great sleep

My girlfriend and I decided to stay at the NH Collection Suecia out of curiosity as much as anything because it is a stunning location in every sense. The staff are charming - very attentive without being intrusive
