Eurostars Marivent Mini-hotel

Dissapointed with this hotel. Only certain parts of the hotel been renovated like the rooms but the corridors are still left with old carpets (maybe from the 70s/80s) that smells. The paint on the exterior walls of the building including room balconies are peeling off. Some of the furniture are old like the mirror in the bathroom that the metal somehow stained the walls - although I do believe it’s actually mold from damp. There is no dressing table or table lamp in the room so very inconvenient to get ready and don’t your make up or hair. Parking is a nightmare unless you are willing to pay an extra €15 per night. Pool towers can only be changed every 3 days (very unhygienic) and most photos from the hotel’s website do not reflect the actual state of the hotel. The rooms are not soundproof so we had sleepless nights thanks to noise from rooms above and below us - truly awful and very upsetting especially when we have paid so much to stay here based on the hotels claim on their website. Won’t stay here again sadly.

Decent location, the hotel has been updated recently and the communal areas and rooms are in great condition. The fact that there is a private car park is very convenient, the staff are very helpful and friendly especially Bernat, but the only downside and big disappointment was the pool opening hours. It is hard to understand how during high season the pool and the pool bar are only open from 11am until 6pm, it's a total nonsense!
