Hotels on first line in Palma

After lunch ends, the restaurant doesn’t reopen until 6:30 PM, closing again at 9:30 PM. So, if you arrive back at the hotel around 2:30 PM, you’re out of luck for lunch, and there aren’t any nearby places to grab food

The only options are snacks like burgers and hot dogs, but even the snack bar closes at 6:00 PM. The rooms don’t have minibars, and there are vending machines that only take coins, which often don’t work

I stayed on the seventh floor for over a week, and the machine on that floor never worked. I reported it several times, but no one fixed it, even though the issue was just a blocked coin—an easy fix

The veiw wasnt great, but the room, food, pool and staff were fabulous. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

The hotel isn’t bad, but there’s definitely room for improvement. First off, there’s no à la carte restaurant, just a buffet, and the meal times don’t always align with your plans on the island

I stayed for over a week and only used the pool twice, but they wouldn’t let me rent a towel for just those two days—I had to pay for the whole week

Good waterfront location but be sure of your sea view as their description covers any room where the sea is visible - - some times only just!!

I had a very nice stay in the Tryp. The rooms air airconditioned and modern. Great views over Palma the Mallorco and the sea. Personnel is friendly and efficient

I experience a flexible attitude while requesting changes in my booking. the hotel is well placed to visit the city and the the marina. The breakfast buffet is adequate

Location of the hotel is perfect to enjoy the city and the marina, and visit the different beaches by car. We enjoyed our stay a lot and we couldn't have asked for better service! Excellent hotel overall!

Had a 3 night trip in September 2024 and stayed in a 'Levels' triple room on a B&B basic

The venue itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the marina and the Mediterranean, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. From the moment we began planning, the service we received was top class

The location is nice, close to the promenade, and Palma marina. The hotel itself is amazing and has a super nice interior design. The pool is ok, not big and not too small

Stayed 5 days, this is a great hotel! Breakfast had a good selection including made to order omelettes and freshly squeezed orange juice. The front desk staff are all incredibly helpful and made sure we were comfortable

Excellent hotel spotlessly clean and friendly helpful staff all the facilities you would expect from a first class hotel the room we were allocated had amazing views over the harbour and Palma city

Only negative is the hotel is located up a rather steep hill and the vernacular railway was out of action during our stay so if you have mobility problems it might be a problem taxi's however are reasonably priced

They have prices and contacts for local amenities such as car hire, and we're always happy to help with any questions or problems. Very happy to return and recommend

Not bad but not great, a short walk from Palma centre but if you’re not up for a walk there’s barely anything nearby, although taxis from reception arrive pretty much within 5 minutes of asking for them which is great! Bit disappointed with the layout of the pool area as if you want to be in viewing distance of the outdoor pool you most likely won’t be getting any sun until at least 1pm due to the...

Very nice place, but be warned of the glass shower in the middle of the room. I’m a modest person and was quite embarrassed to use the shower in there. We booked a poolside room and that was fun though

We loved this hotel when we stayed here back in April so we booked again! Nothing to disappoint 2nd time around, everything works well, rooms are big, the beds are super-comfortable, breakfast is extensive, the pool is busy but not crowded, the gym is excellent… we had a great time! The hotel is located a short distance from the busy beaches and shopping centre… but far enough away to feel relaxed

Me and my wife spent 1 week at this hotel in July and we are definitely coming back. Since the very first moment we felt the staff was taking care of us, rooms were amazing and the facilities made our stay unforgettable

The Rooms and hotel location overall are very nice, but the reason for this review is for the excellent experience in the hotel restaurant, the food was really good and fresh but the service was something else

I have visited the dry Martini in the Gran Melia Victoria, and I loved the bar and the staff, was a great experience, I was served by Rosario and he give me one of the best service I ever had, he is very professional and friendly at the same time, 5 star bar!

Staff are superb, efficient, polite, hard working - couldn’t fault any of them. Room ( we had a suite) was perfect and as described. Location is perfect - easy 20 minute walk to Palma

Best hotel we've experienced on the island. Indoor pool was closed due to construction, which disappointed our children - as it was part of why we picked the hotel. I think that should have been told to us in advance

We’ll be back! Minor criticism: breakfast egg station needs separating from buffet - gets crowded with guests waiting for omelettes! To be fair, we’ve also stayed many times at the Meliá Palma Marina ( next door) and I’d echo the above comments

Very good hotel, centrally placed next to the marina. Good breakfast. Nice an clean poolarea. Were a bit unlucky with the rooms. Nice, but placed in a «dark corner» of the basement. (Rooms 1022-1028)

Great service, always fast and helpful. The Room was clean, and very Nice. The breakfast was really great, and what a view. Fresh and good. 20 min walk to old town, or 7 euros taxi

Great hotel in the center of Palma. This hotel is extremely modern, with rooms being surprisingly big and comfortable. Food is a little pricy, however the value of the hotel rooms is incredible, giving their age and size

We liked the idea of putting a TV on the Roof so you can watch it whilst laying down in your bed! Service at the Poolbar is a bit strange… we asked if we had to go to the bar to get drinks which was confirmed by the employee

3.5 stars Good hotel, a little out of the town but only a €10/10minute taxi ride. A little dated from the outside. Rooms are reasonable and the pool is great. Breakfast is okay, however a little limited

Alicia always assisted us during our stay and made sure we arrived safely at all our destinations with the best hotel arrangements. She was always helpful and supportive

Lovely hotel, with quite an old school (read dated) design. Pool is small and definitely not the main attraction. the rooms are lovely and super well equipped. restaurants all have good food & drink

They all were fabulous! The facility is beautiful. The beach is right there and sandy! Pool bar has some great choices. We purchased breakfast as part of our package. The property has several restaurants nearby

It is located in Palma, a very convenient location and base if you're travelling to Mallorca for the first time. The hotel is also beach front

Very clean and tidy, both our room, the hotel and the pool/bar areas, good lay out near the pool with plenty of seating/sun-beds, and also plenty seating for the bar/restaurant area which is across the pool

Hotel room was very good with very comfortable beds and nice bathroom with great rainfall style shower. Pool area was excellent with lots of sunbeds and large area on several levels

Car hire, unless your fine with lots of public transport, was needed for visiting further places to explore lots more of the island and beaches but the hotel is still walking distance to transport, bus/taxi stands, and walking distance down to palmar harbour near the strip of bars, restaurants and gift shops

The room served all our needs actually, we do not require much as we like to spend our time outside mainly. The pool and the view were truly nice. They had a bar with foods and drinks

Just leaving today after a great 5 days. From reviews I was a little nervous as to what the hotel would be. The hotel, whilst not flashy or lavish, offers everything needed and is perfectly adequate

The location is as stated but found the walk back quite pleasant and not overly exerting (and I’m not the fittest!) I would have no hesitation in returning to the Horizonte, or in recommending it

Really lovely hotel, the rooms are a bit basic (no kettle and were only given 1 bottle of water for the 4 days we were there) but the staff are lovely and the food is great

This is our 5th year coming back and we couldn’t recommend enough. The reception gave us an upgrade on arrival and bar staff remembered us from previous years and treated us very well

The name states it is adults only but there were a lot of kids, maybe because it is not in full season. If you come by car be careful and reserv a parking spot, they have only 5 (that was I was told and what I saw)

The location itself is nice, the sea is just a few steps away. There is a mall in portopi that is 10minutes away (walking). There are restaurants and bars nearby

Went for 3 days as a city break. The room itself was clean and we had a great view of the sea but we had a couple of problems

Firstly, let me address the question of safety/stealing. I personally was cautious after reading a few recent negative reviews. However, after 4nights stay I can HIGHLY recommend this hotel

I only gave 4* for rooms due to a particularly British foible! Lack of tea making facility! 🤣 Coffee machine only but staff did bring tea up if you asked - how fab is that! The location is ideal and we loved our 5 nights there

Very central. You can walk almost everywhere. Generous rooms and very clean bathrooms. Rooftop spa though didn't get the chance to use it. Concierge staff were very helpful booking taxis and finding local services.

Very good located hotel with a beautiful view. Right in the centre of the city and with a bus stop at the front door to get directly to the airport. Some free drinks in the minibar make you feel extra welcome

Really nice hotel one block from lots of restaurants and shopping. Quiet, clean great staff, nice breakfast and cafe with great 3 course lunch with wine for €20. Nice lounge area and sauna/steam room/whirlpool area

I looked forward to seeing them at the start of and end of our day exploring Palma. My wife and I have no complaints what so ever about HM Jaime III. It just added to the joy that we experienced in Mallorca

Stayed 3 nights last week for my birthday. Room was clean, bright and airy with the added bonus of a balcony. Surprise Prosecco was left in our room. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a mini break

Small things they could improve on are: On arrival making it more clear what the hotel can offer private beds/areas, beach bags prepared, paddle boards. We had to find this stuff out ourselves

Also the pool bed service isn’t great, at a hotel like this you expect for the staff to be checking up on you more, asking for drinks ect. Overall I think this hotel was a 5 star experience and will certainly come back

We were staying at the Natura Deluxe with Terrace and Pool, what can I say, I am speechless. Thank you so much for making our stay as comfortable as possible

The views from the terrace are great but the rooms in Natura 1 (new building) are loud and the private "pool" is more than misleading. If you really want to stay in a 5* hotel - look elsewhere

We came with some family and friends to eat to celebrate my wedding. The quality and beauty of the place is amazing. I highly to recommend the place. I also recommend the brunch which is particularly nice

There is not much more to say but FANTASTIC! I have not been in a better place on this Island before. The Rooms, the food, the service, the surroundings as well as the Spa are incredible

The breakfast at the hotels terrace on the 5th floor was one of the favorite moments of the day, also sittning by the pool area on the 8th floor in the evening with a glas of wine

This was not the hotel's fault, nothing you can do about noisy guests. Amazing views from pool on 8th floor

Received complimentary meal and bottle of cava for booking direct online. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice

And for the one with long hair; conditioner is not included in the hygiene products in the room so that you have to bring with or buy at a supermarket close by

Took my mum and my dad who is not very mobile here and we had the best time! They gave dad a room near the elevator , the staff were very nice and helpful! I loved the sunbeds because they looked out onto the beach so can see the beach but no sand ! The pool side drinks were lovely , lots of restaurants close by and the restaurant in the hotel was lovely too! We had balcony’s sea facing and could hear...

Right on the beach and also next to the beach bar though this is a seasonal hotel and only one of the three are open all year, however a good collection of rooms and views that can be had over the beach area.

Seaside Superior Room with a great bathroom and comfortable bed! Breakfast was perfect with fresh fruits, omelette and juice! Pool with bar staff and a quite place to rest. We will come back

A great place to relax in Majorqua. Very nice and good service. A pool and direct/ private access to Cala Mayor! Also close to the road to go anywhere to the island. If we come back one day, we will come back here!
