Hotels near sea shore in Palma

After lunch ends, the restaurant doesn’t reopen until 6:30 PM, closing again at 9:30 PM. So, if you arrive back at the hotel around 2:30 PM, you’re out of luck for lunch, and there aren’t any nearby places to grab food

The only options are snacks like burgers and hot dogs, but even the snack bar closes at 6:00 PM. The rooms don’t have minibars, and there are vending machines that only take coins, which often don’t work

I stayed on the seventh floor for over a week, and the machine on that floor never worked. I reported it several times, but no one fixed it, even though the issue was just a blocked coin—an easy fix

Otherwise, it's a highly recommended, family orientated, lively hotel with a great entertainment team

The hotel isn’t bad, but there’s definitely room for improvement. First off, there’s no à la carte restaurant, just a buffet, and the meal times don’t always align with your plans on the island

For example, lunch ends at 2:30 PM, and just before that, the waitstaff literally starts pressuring you to leave. Some are friendlier than others, but I had one waitress who was particularly pushy and far from polite

Good waterfront location but be sure of your sea view as their description covers any room where the sea is visible - - some times only just!!

I had a very nice stay in the Tryp. The rooms air airconditioned and modern. Great views over Palma the Mallorco and the sea. Personnel is friendly and efficient

There was no channel that was in English or even had English subtitle which would allow me to understand what was being said. I was unable to understand and fully enjoy that aspect of my visit

The parking can be a bit difficult to park in but expect that in these parts of the world. The hotel is located close to the center but far enough in a quiet area of the town, allowing u to unwind

Very clean and tidy, both our room, the hotel and the pool/bar areas, good lay out near the pool with plenty of seating/sun-beds, and also plenty seating for the bar/restaurant area which is across the pool

Hotel room was very good with very comfortable beds and nice bathroom with great rainfall style shower. Pool area was excellent with lots of sunbeds and large area on several levels

Car hire, unless your fine with lots of public transport, was needed for visiting further places to explore lots more of the island and beaches but the hotel is still walking distance to transport, bus/taxi stands, and walking distance down to palmar harbour near the strip of bars, restaurants and gift shops

The room served all our needs actually, we do not require much as we like to spend our time outside mainly. The pool and the view were truly nice. They had a bar with foods and drinks

Just leaving today after a great 5 days. From reviews I was a little nervous as to what the hotel would be. The hotel, whilst not flashy or lavish, offers everything needed and is perfectly adequate

The location is as stated but found the walk back quite pleasant and not overly exerting (and I’m not the fittest!) I would have no hesitation in returning to the Horizonte, or in recommending it

This hotel is ideally located for the port, and the city is a short distance away. The hotel has indoor and outdoor pools with great views, and room service was well priced

Negatives: well the hotel has its years and it’s very visible, indoor pool is is 6-7m long, very tiny, hotel sourrandings are not very nice. You don’t have feeling that your in good looking place

Stayed 5 days, this is a great hotel! Breakfast had a good selection including made to order omelettes and freshly squeezed orange juice. The front desk staff are all incredibly helpful and made sure we were comfortable

you can just walk 10 minutes to city center ir take a taxi, the hotel is calm, wifi is great for work and has a nice gym, very recommended! Accepts unionpay for asian travelers!!

The rooms are well presented and clean. There is a handy funicular that you can use to access the road which is very handy for buses into the city centre

The location it a bit of a walk from the main town square but there is a funicular that will get you to a bus stop close by

The name states it is adults only but there were a lot of kids, maybe because it is not in full season. If you come by car be careful and reserv a parking spot, they have only 5 (that was I was told and what I saw)

The location itself is nice, the sea is just a few steps away. There is a mall in portopi that is 10minutes away (walking). There are restaurants and bars nearby

Went for 3 days as a city break. The room itself was clean and we had a great view of the sea but we had a couple of problems

We’ll be back! Minor criticism: breakfast egg station needs separating from buffet - gets crowded with guests waiting for omelettes! To be fair, we’ve also stayed many times at the Meliá Palma Marina ( next door) and I’d echo the above comments

One of those hotels where you need to pay extra for 5 star red level service otherwise it's an expensive 4 star hotel

My only issue is as we are looking onto the pool there were 8 men golfing during the day then in the pool being rather loud and drinking for 3 days back to back so if coming with small kids ask for a room away from the pool

To the city centre are within walking distance, 20 minutes to the Cathedral as 15-20 minutes. The hotel is suitable for business people, but not to stay, especially with children

Great hotel in the center of Palma. This hotel is extremely modern, with rooms being surprisingly big and comfortable. Food is a little pricy, however the value of the hotel rooms is incredible, giving their age and size

However, considering that the room price is around 1,500 per night in the off-season, it cannot be said to be cost-effective

I looked forward to seeing them at the start of and end of our day exploring Palma. My wife and I have no complaints what so ever about HM Jaime III. It just added to the joy that we experienced in Mallorca

Stayed 3 nights last week for my birthday. Room was clean, bright and airy with the added bonus of a balcony. Surprise Prosecco was left in our room. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a mini break

It’s about a 20 min cab ride from the airport, centrally located in Palma. You can walk anywhere within a 5-15 min to grab food, grocery store, etc. The pool is nice but can get a little crowded

The hotel is located on quiet street in the centre of old town - it's spotless, with a lovely breakfast each morning, a stunning spa/pool area, and beautiful features like mosaic floors and high, wood-beamed ceilings

We were offered welcome drinks as the reception manager arranged table bookings for us in the hotel restaurant, in Palma, and in Port de Soller. The dinner, breakfasts, and snacks were delicious and freshly prepared

On our second day, we came back to the room to find a complementary bottle of wine on ice waiting. All of the staff, from the cleaners, the bar , restaurant, and front desk staff were exceptional

The facilities are all excellent - rooftop pool, underground spa, bar and restaurant

Nice an cosy hotel, with a convenient location and friendly staff! At only 5-10minutes from Plaza Espana and 5 minutes from the shopping area on Avendida de Jaume III.

I stayed here for a week in September 2024 and had a generally positive experience. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area

However, one drawback was the very tiny lift, which was somewhat inconvenient. Additionally they don't have many options in breakfast

Great city hotel with a rooftop pool and restaurant. They give you an option to have breakfast either in restaurant or at roof terrace

If you like morning breeze from sea and nice views while you eat I recommend to try it. This hotel is perfect starting point for exploring the city and the island. We rented a scooter so traveling was even easier

Great first impressions when you get to reception. Check in was fun. The little pool looks great and the bar is really cool looking. Room has everything we needed. The rooftop terrace had lovely views also.

Breakfast tasty 👍 fresh juice and coffee with all types of milk, simple, entire, no lactose, vegan also 👍 Good deal for happy hour from 19:00 to 20:00 On Friday evening they have a great offer, buffet with warm, cold tapas and one glass of champagne 🍾 for 25 euros And many other pleasant things which we were very happy to discover in this cosy hotel

You have a nice view! A great selection of fruits and vegetables, breads, (plant-based) milk, eggs, cereals and yoghurts were part of the breakfast. Even as a vegan you had good options

We had a great stay at Hotel Feliz. For some reason we got an upgrade and stayed in a big, big room. Everything was clean and smelled nice. The hotel is furnished with a good taste
