DWO Sirius - Adults Only

Just arrived back from a week on the club select package and had a lovely time. The rooms were perfect, very spacious. Coffee machine and complimentary minibar were a massive plus!

Had no trouble getting a spot round the pool at the bar or the sun beds.

Having a pass for the spa and access to the beach club with sun beds was also an amazing plus!

Two gentleman running the beach club were absolutely lovely, only downside was the main barman on the pool bar most days wasn’t the friendliest. However all the other staff were absolutely lovely and this staff member was working really hard on his own a lot of the time, so can’t fault his work ethic one bit.

Our bus home was also before breakfast on our final day, so the staff kindly packed us each a picnic lunch with a sandwich and some fruit and bottle of water. We thought this was such a nice gesture.

Would definitely come back in a heartbeat! Have already priced up our next trip!😊🏖️

Close to the beach. Breakfast was great, a buffet with so many options. Everyone will find something they like or t already eat for breakfast. Fresh pancakes & fried eggs made on the spot. Churros, a hot breakfast, with multiple options. Cereal dried fruit, a variety of yoghurt flavours. Plenty types of cheese, salami & other meat, easily available.
Pastries of many kinds, alongside options of different breads, including mini petit pains.
The staff are friendly and helpful, also accommodating.
For drinks at breakfast there were four different fruit justice options. For hot drinks there were several types of tea, coffee & even hot chocolate.
Impressive banquet including prosecco for breakfast.
The spa facilities were great. You need to book in advance, however you get the spa room all to yourself. The jacuzzi is substantial in size for just two people. There's a steam room and sauna too use at your leisure. The spa is allocated for 1 hour & costs just €8 each. Massages are available, you also need to book ahead. The massage was most enjoyable, however I fell asleep so felt I missed out on the experience a little. Extremely relaxing though. It was €65 for 1 hour of the aromatherapy massage.
The beach is a short walk, 5 mins roughly, away from the hotel. Very accessible. The sun loungers were €6 and the parasol was just €5, which covers two people.
This hotel is about an hour away by car to Barcelona. However there's a handy train station to Barcelona, which was around 1 hour 15 mins & was running on schedule for our departure & return. The tickets for a return were approx €11.50, from what I recall. To enter and have access to the roof top of the cathedral in Barcelona it's €14, which is a bargain. Although I'd advise booking online in advance to secure a spot.
Beware of people potentially offering to take photos & staging your phone.
The hotel staff had a great knowledge of the British language & there was a 24 hour reception. Which is handy.
There's also a place to store your luggage, if your flights are later than check out time.
We had dinner in the hotel one evening. Again it was a buffet. With a vast amount of choice, for main courses and desserts.
The balcony was of a good size, although they do lack privacy. It didn't bother us, but some people may have wanted a more secluded balcony. W had a reasonable view, however some of the rooms perhaps had a view of the balconies of the hotel opposite DWO Sirius.
There are a lot of little shops nearby to get some smaller essentials for the room for the bar refrigerator.
There's an option for a safety deposit key, which requires a €10 deposit, which you get returned on check out. The WiFi is free and I found it reasonably fast.
The room had a great atmosphere lamps, lights & enough plug sockets. The bathroom had a great power shower, although it was quite high up to reach.
There were complimentary coffee pods & milk for the coffee machine in the room, with the option for decaf coffee too.
The rooms were cleaned daily & bedding and towels were fresh daily also.
Being an adult only hotel was relaxing and no problems with noise from children. Including adults, there was a very relaxed atmosphere, with a variety of nationalities visiting.
I would highly recommend this hotel being close enough to Barcelona without paying the prices that no doubt Barcelona change.

Roomcleaning was very good, same goes for the food through-out the day. Everybody is very nice and helpful. The bar is fast and puts a lot of alcohol in your drinks;) but if u don’t prefer alcohol or just a little bit you can always go and tell. There are a lot of fun activities made by the animation team of the hotel take for example waterpolo, basketball and kayaking outside from the hotel. One of the best hotels I stayed in.

We enjoyed staying here. Very calm hotel, nice restaurant food, friendly staff. It’s situated not far from a beach (biggest and cleanest you can even imagine, if you are only a Barcenoletta persob) and the train station is not far so you can get yourself to the north towns to explore the coast. Ive noticed that the most of habitats are respectfully aged people, so again, this hotel is not about parties.

Rooms- Good value for money, they have a mini fridge and a safe in there which you can pay for per day. They were very cool at night and had a nice high pressure bath/shower which was perfect. You had the option for them to be cleaned each day also!

Service- There wasn’t many staff as I could see. We only had bed and breakfast for our options- Breakfast was decent however my only criticism is that they run out quite quickly, ie sausages, bacon and then didn’t refill. Good selection of continental options as well as full English. Range of tea and coffee available as well as fruit juices.

Location- This hotel is based a 2 minute walk from the beach as well as local bars and restaurants.

We are from England and found not many English people staying at this hotel, and sometimes we found the communication quite challenging, this was the same all around Santa Susanna 🇪🇸

TIP- fancy a day trip? Barcelona is just an hour trip on the train. Take a right out of the back of the hotel (poolside) follow the trainline up and you’ll get to the train station- it is €21 euros return ✨

Not enough storage for clothes, one nearly double wardrobe and no drawers. Charge for safe...really this day and age. Staff are a bit standoffish, food is at best lukewarm, beach is a dissapointment, great location though.

Very nice hotel, very well managed. Truly the most delicious food that you can ask for. Every day there were new things that we could try, aways something fresh, that they could cook on the momentif ask for. We've had an amazing vacation.
