Great location! Easy to navigate the beautiful Helsinki. It is actually a junction of the Grand Ventral Station. Very well organized hotel with all facilities. Although it is located at the heart of the city, it is very quiet during night. The hotel ambiance is very cozy, excellent choice for travelers. Highly recommended!

By mistake I had a double booked the room I understand that you can’t cancel I accepted that but for the fact that on or the 2 rooms not be ready at 8 am on the day of checkout is crazy unacceptable furthermore, after inquiring the manager about this, she was extremely rude and kept repeating the same thing that she can do nothing about it but is absolutely unacceptable and I wouldn’t recommend it because of the worst service. On the other hand the rooms are nice which doesn’t make it a 1 star. Please note mikeal at reception was very helpful however the general manger was the issue.

Room was great, high ceiling with nice interior, toilet has bidet, which is awesome but it is connected to the tap sink. To turn the bidet, you need to turn on the tap. If you off bidet, it will flow back to the tap which is such a huge waste of water. The hotel does not sustainability.
Front desk - one of the lady who checks in and out hotel guests was rude to my husband. He merely asked whether the hotel has any partnership with a professional dry cleaning company if they dont have in-house service like most hotel does in all around the world. But the lady says NO if there is she would have known cos she works there for more than 4 years with a smirk and impolite unfriendly tone. If you are not happy with queries, dont work at front desk. Thats all i can say to the mgmt. He didnt answer back to her cos he cant be bothered with her attitude. That gives me the impression that some Finnish people in hospitality, in the city really need to learn some customer service and manners.

Very conveniently located beside the Helsinki train station. Hotel compound is large and spacious. Rooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. Overall a comfortable stay. Gym was decent too with adequate weights and cardio machines

My three-night stay at this hotel was exceptional, primarily due to its prime location adjacent to Helsinki Central Railway Station and major tourist attractions. The breakfast and bar offerings were outstanding, and the accommodations were notably comfortable. I particularly appreciated the well-maintained garden situated within the hotel. The staff consistently demonstrated a friendly and courteous demeanor. An added benefit was the presence of a bidet (muslim) shower in the restroom. I unequivocally plan to return to this establishment in the future.

Unbeatable location, nice breakfast and venues, friendly services. Our compliment to a front desk lady staff who helped us to upgrade our room since the housekeeping missed cleaning our room accidentally (we left the room in normal morning hours without DND sign). One point about the sauna: we anticipate it would be sizable and found it was tiny and humbly equipped therefore we did not try it eventually. Overall, this Scandic Central experience is much better than the previous Scandic version in CPH. We highly recommend this hotel for those to Helsinki.

This was our third visit to this hotel during an extended trip around Finland. We are very glad we chose this hotel - the staff are friendly and polite, the breakfast is tasty, the rooms are large and quiet, and the location is right next to the railway station. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Helsinki or simply passing through.

Wonderfully made up hotel with included sauna, gorgeous rooms and a diverse breakfast spread. The location couldn't be anymore convenient. One shock I must comment on is no kettle or tea in the room!!

We had a great few nights stay at Scandic Grand Central. The check-in process was smooth- The hotel even provided an online check-in option that would also notify us when our room is ready so that we can check in earlier. The room was a little smaller than we imagined but nevertheless well-equipped. The breakfast buffet is a MUST- There's a wide variety of food and they are all scrumptious. The staff was warm and accommodating- Big thumbs up to the cleaning staff who greeted us everyday without fail with the biggest smile on their faces. The location is also fantastic-Its very central so all the tourist attractions and transport is within walking distance.
