Go Happy Home Apartments in Helsinki

Apartment was nice enough. We trekked with all our luggage to the office only to find there was nobody there (we arrived an hour earlier than I had communicated). I did expect someone to the there as it was 2pm. Called them and they asked us to come back an hour later which we did. We got the key and then had to walk for another 20 minutes to out apartment with all our luggage. Why not meet us at the apartment? We only went there to get the key and would've saved a lot of time to meet there. Walls are very thin so you can hear everything. One light didn't seem to have a switch which didn't lead to a great night sleep. Apartment was nice other than that. Internet and all mod cons were included. We were asked to wash our dishes (which we would've done anyway), but seemed rude to ask.

Before you book this apartment, you have to note few points.
1) This address is only the agent office and NOT the actual apartment address. The apartment is 3 blocks away, and will be miserable to check in on rainy days.
2) There is NO elevator from street level to the apartment building. You need good muscle strength to carry YOUR LUGGAGES up a staircase before you reach the elevator of the apartment building.
3) There is NO early check in and NO LEAVE LUGGAGE service, so one have to put all your luggages in the train station locker, until 3pm. This is a bit annoying as your have to drag your luggage back and fro.

IMO, I would rather choose a hotel rather than this apartment if you just need a short stay. TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THIS APARTMENT.

I did an out of hours key pick up & the instructions were great. However the apartment was a 20 minute walk from the office where you pick the keys up, which at 1am wasn’t too great. The apartment itself however is hugely disappointing. If I wanted to stay in an Airbnb I would have booked it. The apartment block & apartment itself stink of smoke & the bathroom leaves much to be desired. I stay in Helsinki regularly for work & can safely say I wouldn’t book through this company again. The extra star I’ve given is because luckily, I’ve ended up very close walking distance to where I need to be!
