Hotel St. George

The sanitation is very good, the breakfast is great, but early check-out is not possible, and there is a lack of flexibility, which leads to a lack of consideration for the customer's perspective. If the next time you stay there has a more complicated itinerary, you should choose carefully.

The room is clean and tidy with a simple and stylish Nordic design style. The breakfast is rich and varied, the service is warm and moderate, the bakery downstairs is very popular, and the hotel is in a great location and you can reach everything on foot.

The service staff is very qualified and the spa is quiet and clean

There is also a big park at the door... It is very convenient to go anywhere...

The room was very good! There were two large beds and a single bed for children! Toothbrushes, slippers and other equipment were also provided! There was also a soda making machine. Overall, I was very satisfied. It was also very convenient to go shopping and eat in the city! If I come again, I will choose this hotel again!

The location and environment are good, but children are not allowed in the swimming pool. The hotel art exhibition is also good

Cozy, clean, recently renovated hotel in the center.

For context we are a couple in our early 30’s, without children fyi.

We stayed for the marathon, it was the perfect distance from the start line and location for city centre. We wanted something that we could have a lovely stay and celebrate the our achievement and this hotel did that.

The spa facilities are lovely, very clean and calming. Massages were brilliant.

Food - breakfast was great, huge variety and a decent mixture of cultures, very fresh and tasty. You can also order and early breakfast which was perfect for us due to early start time with the marathon + early check out.
I would have loved slightly more variety on the room service menu.
They have a bakery on site and a restaurant that looks lovely but we didn’t make it there.

Service - very strong, friends staff across the team, especially at breakfast, it was faultless. If I’m being picky, I would have thought they would offer a turn down service as standard.

Overall - brilliant stay and worth the money.

Great location, service, and beautiful bar. I wouldn’t have changed a thing it, very well situated, walkable, in a cute area. Very niche thing, but really appreciated the GHD hairdryer - I’ve never experienced a hotel having the same high end hair dryer I have at home!

Truly one of the best hotels in Europe, I absolutely loved my recent stay at Hotel St George and am already thinking about when I’ll be back.

For those looking for a hotel that hits on every aspect, this is the one:

- Location: couldn’t be more ideal as you are a quick walk to major sites, the train station, or tram spots to venture further

- Service: impeccable, the staff treated us very well in fact any time we called the front desk to request something they were at our instantly

- Ambiance: this is definitely one of the hotels that really cares about its culture and presentation. The various art pieces from renowned artists are incredible and the common areas are stunning.

- Food: do not skip breakfast or the bakery. The team here makes everything fresh in house and it was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had by far. The smoked salmon here was my favorite in the world

- Spa: honestly my favorite sauna and spa throughout all the nordics as it’s quiet and so peaceful

- Marriott status: this is a design hotel so not all benefits are honored but we could a handwritten note from the manager and a discount on breakfast for my Titanium status which is well appreciated

I cannot recommend this hotel enough and wish I could keep it a secret. Thanks for a great stay!
