Amarante Cannes

I have traveled all over Europe and have never been treated worse. The staff was clearly picking who they allowed to come in to get breakfast and once in they were banging on plates and yelling at everyone to move or pick up their trays, demeaning their patrons. They particularly picked on women, following one all the way to the elevator yelling at her. I will never understand how they can stay in business that way. Epitome of RUDE.

Not worth staying here. The size of the double bed is for kids. An adult couple cannot sleep properly here. The hotel is old. The people are nice and friendly, but the rest is horrible to say the least.

The hotel is awful with the smell being gross and some of the tiles in the bathroom are broken ,not 4 stars .

Had a terrible experience tonight at Hotel Amarante in Cannes. Booked and paid for four rooms, but the receptionist kept screaming it's not his problem, even after showing confirmations. Eventually, he reluctantly added another bed for 35€ extra. Unprofessional and disrespectful.
Parking is too narrow to fit anything bigger that a smart - impossible with an 5 serie BMW. Rooms are okayish, clean but very small.

This must surely be where all the celebrities come during the festival, you can tell by the way the female receptionist treats you like garbage when she realizes you aren't one. And what can be said of the so called parking, where anything bigger than a smart will have trouble entering and maneuvering. And the room? 15 whole square meters of appliances dated back in the 90's and walls so thin you can hear the tourist next door doing what you usually do after a night of drinking. It's like he's in the same room with you. If you're moderately tall, don't plan on getting showered past your chest, cause that's where the syphon is placed. Don't get fooled by the photos, the "pool" is a 5 x 2 metres poodle. And at the bar they charge you 10 euros for the most basic of their breakfast, but they've never heard of vegetable milk. I can't begin to understand how this place has four stars.
