Best Western Plus Cannes Riviera in Cannes

Stayed overnight when going on a cruise and then again when we got back. Very helpful staff who could speak english and clean and tidy rooms

I just got back this morning. The location is fantastic. Right by the station which is handy to get to Nice in around half hour and the journey takes you along the Riviera.

The trains are double decker and spacious.

I would also mention there was no iron in the room which I would have expected and the hotel staff could have been friendlier although one of them was extremely helpful. She explained to us that you could have breakfast at a cost of €19 but we thought it was a bit expensive considering you can just go a short distance and get a brunch for €15 with a glass of wine or a croissant a coffee and fresh orange juice for around €10 and take in the lovely ambience whilst you eat al fresco in the lovely sunshine @22 degrees today. The beach is also a stones throw away and has a lovely atmosphere and lots to see.

The roof top pool was nice but would have been even nicer if it were heated.

Finally the Bar never appeared that there was anyone readily available to serve you which made it unapproachable. Maybe if you stand there long enough Mr Ben might appear !!

The hotel is close to the train station and an easy walk to the centre, croisette and Palais. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only issues were the following: there is no fan in the bathroom so the room completely fogs up after a shower. The only mirrors in the room are in the bathroom, so are unusable for a while until the moisture clears. There should be a full body mirror in the bedroom opposite the bed in line with the closet. In my room, there was plenty of space for one.

Nice little hotel - the Marilyn hotel bar looked amazing, sadly seemed to be empty most nights.

The staff were friendly and the room had everything we needed. It's a walk to the beach but there is a small hotel pool on the roof. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel has great decor and feels cozy. It is very close to the beaches and the city center/old town. You get a lot of value for your money. We didn't get breakfast (standard european continental breakfast) at the hotel as it was a bit plain to pay 17 euros (I believe) per person. The second room we were moved to was a bit too small. We felt like we could barely fit our suitcases in it. With that said, everything else was great.
