I don’t even know where to begin with this disaster of a hotel. If I could give it zero stars, I would.
First, the check-in process took an eternity. The receptionist looked like they had just woken up from a nap and barely acknowledged my existence. When I finally got my key, I took the world’s smelliest staircase up to my room—only to find that the door wouldn’t open. After jiggling the key card for five minutes, it finally worked, and I immediately regretted it.
The room smelled like a combination of mold, cigarette smoke, and something I can only describe as “wet dog.” The carpet had mysterious stains, the bed was as hard as a rock, and I’m pretty sure the pillows were just pillowcases stuffed with old newspapers. The bathroom? Don’t even get me started. The faucet leaked, the shower barely trickled water, and there were actual hairs in the sink that did NOT belong to me.
To top it all off, I barely got any sleep because the walls were paper-thin. I heard every single cough, sneeze, and questionable noise coming from the room next door. And let’s not forget the 3 AM fire alarm that went off for no reason, forcing everyone outside in their pajamas, only for the front desk to shrug and say, “Oops, false alarm.”
Breakfast? Stale bread and cold coffee. Housekeeping? Nonexistent. Staff? Ruder than a DMV employee on a bad day.
Honestly, I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car. Do yourself a favor—stay literally anywhere else.

The team at Hotel Victoria was fantastic and super helpful. They were quick to respond and made the whole booking process very easy. You can tell they care about making sure guests have a great experience. Looking forward to visiting again when I’m back in the area. Highly recommend!

Fantastic family run hotel, just a short walk from La croisette. Had a room overlooking Rue Antibes which is busy but shutters kept everything out. Staff were amazingly friendly and welcoming. Nice and relaxing pool area. Only 10 min walk to the old town, perfect location.

I’ve been staying at Hotel Victoria over the past two years, visiting at different times, and it never disappoints. I don’t usually write hotel reviews, but this one truly deserves it. Every stay has been perfect.
The staff is exceptional—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to every detail. The hotel itself has a serene atmosphere, and the small pool feels like an exotic paradise, offering a perfect spot to unwind.
Breakfast is always a highlight, with a delicious and varied selection that we looked forward to each morning. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and provided all the comfort we needed to relax after exploring Cannes. The location is ideal, just a short 3-minute walk to La Croisette, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the best of the city.
Hotel Victoria has become our favorite place to stay in Cannes, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Absolutely 5 stars!

I wouldn’t consider this a 4 star hotel, the location is right in the center of Cannes close to the beach if that’s what you’re looking for, can be a bit noisy at night. Things are a bit dated and broken in the rooms (wobbly toilet, fixtures, black in the shower) small rooms with street view, free breakfast though I opt to walk and get my own as it’s not great

Lovely hotel in great location. Rooms were very clean. Staff were warm and friendly. There was a great choice for breakfast and the offer of a glass of wine was a lovely gesture. The pool looked very inviting and the surrounding area well kept and tidy. We would recommend and stay again.

We enjoyed this hotel for the large rooms, balcony and location. It's older and has beautiful moldings and interior. There are restaurants and shops within steps.
