Eden Hotel & Spa

This is the least serious Business i have ever attended.

I booked a stay for two nights a day in advance, and when my wife and i Came to check in they told us that my card had declined and now there was no room available. Obviously they noted a wrong number since i booked per telephone. they did not call or mail to notify/ or let us correct it.

Per telephone they also told us they have parking for a car with tall roof and we can pay for that at arrival, they dont have parking for a car with tall roof, and you need to book parking in advance.

How this place have 4 stars is beyond me..

We booked this hotel via booking.com for 3 days during mid of August 2021. It was the most expensive hotel throughout our holiday, and most disappointing!!! The key problems are staff were unprofessional; hotel room was lack of maintenance; pool is not easy to access without reservation (max 8 ppl/day).

1. Hotel location is very central but if u come with car, the PARKING is a nightmare!!!
Firstly the only loading zone is occupied.There is no where to park just to check -in. Secondly, if u don’t have the hotel parking reservation, the public parking facility is your only option. It is very close to the hotel, but difficult to find an available spot during the daytime.

2. Hotel staff were unprofessional. I literally got snapped by the reception staff, just because I asked maybe too many questions about the parking, even before check-in. I was seriously shocked!

3. Outdoor Pool is not easy to access. It needs to be reserved in the morning and maximum 8 people. So don’t even think about it if u are just arriving the hotel. The funny thing is, when we checked in, there was no mention about this rule, until when we wanted to use the pool. Surprise! And nothing was written in the Booking.com. I double checked afterwards. And Spa can be easily accessed but it is below 4-stars hotel standard.

4. On our day 2, the aircon in our room was leaking. Water was dripping from the roof. It was a big mess on the floor. After I informed the hotel reception twice, no one came to fix or tidy up the mess, and no communications from the hotel reception for over an hour. We had to clean up our paid hotel room using our towels. I went to reception in-person to reminder them the 3rd time, the reception told us they have already told their supervisors?! After the leaking was finally fixed, it leaked again the day after. We didn’t receive any apology or compensations from hotel during our stay. I can’t believe this happened to a 4-star hotel.

5. Hygiene standard was not managed in the breakfast room. Some of guests were running around and picking up the food without the masks. No staff seemed care.

Anyway, be aware, don’t stay there.
