We had to find accommodation in Lyon at the very last minute and we were lucky to find Hotel Foch. Very friendly reception staff who did everything they could to help us

Great location, close to everywhere even though it is outside the old city area. Good-sized double rooms with quiet AC. Front desk open 7am-12am, you'll need to make arrangements to access during the night.

We stayed 4 nights for a very reasonable price considering the Rugby World Cup was in town. The Location of the hotel is excellent, very central and close to the Metro Station and all ameneties

Great little hotel at end of quiet street On arrival we were greeted with smiling helpful people. Large breakfast with meat, cheese, bread, fruits, yogurt, coffee and tea

So happy to have this lovely room in the heart of Lyon. Just steps away from wonderful food and shopping. Everyone is so kind and helpful here and we feel safe!.

The College Hotel truly is a fantastic stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and made check-in quick and easy. Our room was spotless, well-equipped, and extremely comfortable

The Collège Hôtel was perfect for our 4-night stay in Lyon! The location is great, within an easy walk to so many fun neighborhoods and multiple metro stops

The team could not have been nicer and more accommodating and the terrace is gorgeous. The water bottle-filling station is an underrated amenity!

Small things could have been done to give a better value. The rooms could have more hooks but that is a personal preference. In general I felt it was not good value for the cost. We had the most expensive room category

We were with our teenage daughter in a family room, and it was spacious and lovely. The next time we're in Lyon we'll be back

They are very rustic and finished with a grandeur look to it. We had booked a suite and each room had its own bath and toilet; amenities included 2 TVs , an armoire in the 2nd bedroom and desks for each bedroom

The stag was friendly and helpful, they reserved a cab for us to get back to the train station. Walkable to a lot of the sites, public transit, restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend staying here

The room was lovely, spacious, and spotless with a beautiful bathroom and top notch amenities. Besides great beds and luxurious linens, the front desk person was very welcoming and helpful. A real find!

Hotel Academie as the name suggests was indeed an academy in the 14th century. The hotel has been remodeled Beautifully to keep the spiral staircase and the landings with a few steps to each room

Very quaint hotel in fabulous old town. Staff were great, and room very clean. Only issue was a/c not working yet, although listed as having a/c. However, locacation and character won out.

The location is good and the transportation is very convenient. Because it is an older hotel, it is a little small, but at this price, the cost performance is very high. The hygiene is good and it is still recommended.

The Location is perfect, near train station and less than a minute walk to tram station. Clean place to stay with very good breakfast and Cozy yard. All in all, It offers a fair accommodations for the price

The hotel was easy to find and very central to many places, restaurants, metro and bus station. If I am ever in Lyon again definitely would look forward to visiting Villa Berlioz again

I had a great stay! The staff were friendly and helpful; especially Ali, who was incredibly kind and helped us a lot during our stay. The hospitality was excellent. Everything was very clean and well-kept

It is a basic apartments hotel, nothing fancy and sadly our room had no windows (in the lower part) and the shower head wasn’t working well but we didn’t feel uncomfortable and we still managed to enjoy

Had train complication getting to Lyon but the hotel held our reservation and was able to discount the missed day. Only issue was that the wall mount for the handheld shower would not stay up

The room was a bit cold at first but warmed when I turned on the heating for a bit. The bathroom stayed quite cold. Overall I would really recommend the hotel

Only thing to take note is the lift stops at half floors so you would have to take a flight of steps to your room. Highly recommended and would stay here again if we come back to this beautiful city!

The hotel front desk was very welcoming and check-in was smooth. The room was small but very clean. The hotel is in a good location. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the train and other attractions in the old town

magnificent location We stayed at the apartment and it was very confortable. a couple od dsofas were quite old and run down but the large kitchen and spaciousness compensated in excess

Rooms were modern and clean, the folks at reception always greet you with a smile, the location is perfect for walking to Old Lyon and also accessible to many cuisines and shopping

My only complaint is that the street was blocked off with construction and we had to drag our bags a block to the taxi stand. We are in our 70s and that was very hard on us

the entry to the apartment on the side of the main hotel is quite ugly and the elevator minute, Burt again the apartment made it worth it to look away

The breakfast room is in the first floor and is a welcoming small room with windows out onto the street. The breakfast is varied and delicious and the boil-your-own eggs are brilliant

The good thing is that the floors are not carpeted. We stayed in the smallest room and it was really small. I would not recommend the small room except for weekend and short stays

This little gem of a hotel is centrally located in a gorgeous part of old Lyon. Each one of the rooms has a different name and a different configuration

We were in La Bouillote on the top (6th) floor - there is a lift to the 5th floor so be aware the if you stay in this room you will have to walk up one level - and it met our needs perfectly

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and found our room wonderfully comfortable despite the heat outside. Floor-to-ceiling blackout curtains helped us sleep well

Because there is not even space to open a suitcase. Obviously the towels etc were clean but there were hairs stuck on the sheets and pillows. Room service should have checked these. I slept with a T-shirt over my pillow

Afterwards, you can look forward to a very rich and delicious breakfast at the hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and we truly appreciated the excellent parking facilities both for our car and our bicycles

Very clean, calm, good cantine, closed underground parking. We were looking for a hotel with disent price, good quality and most important with secure parking space in Lyon. Hotel Lyon-oest offers it all

The Lyon-Quest is a lovely hotel situated right alongside the River Rhône The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and provide all that is needed for a comfortable stay.

This Hotel is perfect for us for a stop over on our way to Spain or for a stay in Lyon for a few days. Nice rooms, clean, enough space, good service, fantastic breakfast and an underground car park

Very good hotel,with good facilities in a beautyful quiet area. Orderly and clean rooms. We had a very good stay during our journey home from Spain.

We were embarrassed to have to mop up the excess water with towels!! We still have a good opinion of this hotel, especially for the staff's good attitude, and we hope that everything will be back to normal in the bathroom of this room soon!

The hotel allowed us to leave our luggage for free for several hours on the day of our cruise, when we could not board until after 3pm, and we used their services on our return (for a fee) to store our bags until the evening because we had a very late flight

One major drawback: the water from the brand-new walk-in shower didn't drain through the designated channel but spilled under the sink, and there was no squeegee to direct the water to the right place! We were told that the workers had to come back and redo this "failed" shower

Great staff who really took the time to show us where we might want to sightsee. Also held our luggage for almost an additional day while we traveled out and back. Great people, and convenient accommodations.

We chose this hotel because it is close to the part of the river Rhone from which river cruises depart and return. It is across the bridge on the peninsula but it was an easy walk with our luggage

It's not far to walk to the river, go to the top of the mountain, or go shopping. Breakfast is also good, although not that rich. Lyon is so delicious, leave room for a big meal and wine

My partner and I had a last minute stay and Hotel Lyo was the perfect place. From the beginning, each receptionist, including Noémie and Yohann, are warm and welcoming. The rooms felt cozy and beds were very comfortable

Fantastic stay at a boutique hotel. Best location. Clean and comfy basic room with unfriendly roof(thank fully I am not too tall).Would recommend this hotel to anybody just make sure you leave a room for me

Maybe she was new or just was misinformed and thats understandable, but working in this type of space, face to face with clients, one needs to be accomodating, attentive and atleast always with a smile

Manon was the most hospitable receptionist during our stay, she always tend to us with a smile and was welcoming, she and David too, they always keep our laptop in a safe whenever we go out

Located only a few minutes walk from all the eateries in Rue Mercier and around 10 minutes into Vieux Lyon over the pedestrian bridge. Our room was decorated with some great graphics and overlooked St Nizier church

The breakfast was fine too and (probably like everyone else!), you'll be eating your croissant looking around the bar! A relaxed and informal hotel - definitely not mainstream! Would be happy to recommend

Fun little quirky spot with great hospitality & spectacular location. Sits adjacent to a beautiful cathedral. Walking distance from the historic Saint-Jean district

The owner shared that the hotel building is from the 1420s. Loads of antique signs adorn the walls. A unique & enjoyable experience

There was no closet, there were only 2 hangers in the open. There was no hair dryer, kettle, glass cups, etc. I am writing again, the room was so small that there was no place to put a suitcase

Clean and quite spacious room, with private bathroom and a very large shower. The only note I would like to make is the lack of shelves in the bathroom, but otherwise I highly recommend this hotel!

Well, I have to say it was a great discovery! The central location, convenient for reaching the stops of various means of transport, 10 minutes on foot to get to the Perrache metro station

The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on it. Our room was located on the seventh and top floor of the structure

The staff are friendly, but the towels that I told them didn't need to be replaced weren't replenished, and when I checked with reception they said they didn't have any spares

The room is a bit old and the space is not big, but it is clean. The boss's service attitude is very good and deserves praise. The location is very convenient. The subway and bus stations are next to it

Looks quite run down from outward appearance but it is okay inside,quite a walk to the Old Town and the city but Perrache station is 100 metres away, room was extremely hot inside which made me think it would be uncomfortable in Summer,not too bad though at a reasonable price

The hotel met my expectations generally talking. It was bright room, clean enough, the bed is really comfy

But it was quiet and again you go there for a cheap price. Parking on the street is difficult the hotel has a underground garage but it is very expensive. The hotel is very well located

Also you only get 2 small bathrooms towels for 2 person

It's a remote and simple place, and it's hard to find a hotel. I can only trust the Ibis chain brand. Fortunately, the environment is clean and sanitary

We understood that there was renovation work underway. Some frames had been removed from the room, but the screws remained on the wall. No hand soap in the bathroom, but we asked at reception

The toilet area was too narrow. I recommend it, despite a few issues; it's still very good compared to many hotels of the same style

I liked everything, but when walking around the area you can meet some dubious characters.

There’s an Italian restaurant a minute’ walk with other options a 5 minute walk including Columbus for coffee. There’s also a Picard close by as well as many VeloV stations if you wanted to take a bike

A few days in Lyon I thought this perfectly adequate, more than that if I’m honest. Okay, it’s not in the city centre but it’s easy to navigate to from either Perrache or Part Dieu

The daily cleaning was cursory: a water jet in the shower, beds made, and towels changed, but the floor wasn't cleaned. The shower is very slippery; be careful with children!! Breakfast is not worth €12 at all

I would like to have a kettle in the room. But this was not a problem, because in the reception area you can use both a kettle and a microwave. Also, upon request, we were given cutlery and cups in the room

It was also close to the train station, making it a great location for traveling from Lyon to Annecy. The facilities were clean and the room was spacious. The microwave on the first floor was also great.

The hotel is very conveniently located - the metro is nearby, you can walk to the train station. The room is clean and spacious. The windows overlook the street, but there was no noise from the road

Excellent 3 star hotel in a great location close to the main square in Lyon (Place Bellecour). Friendly staff (the young man) made checking in very easy. The room was very spacious, with a decent size bathroom

Everything perfect. The check-in is great, the rooms are clean and bright and it's centrally located in a pedestrian area. The room is equipped with a safe and airconditioning.

I am not going to deduct any star. However, the half panel on bathtubs splashes water on the floor when using shower. I would prefer a fridge to cool water

It featured a large TV, fridge and an excellent aircon unit to keep you cool. The decor is an older style but charming in its own way, and clean throughout

This is a capitalist facility, you can't talk to anyone, especially in other languages then French. But it's a non stop business, so you can book and check in at late hours. The breakfast is a "petit" one.

The room and the bathroom were clean, the mattress and pillow very good, I slept excellently I checked in at the machine at the entrance quickly and safely. I didn't pay for breakfast and I did well

Eggs, toast, frozen pastry, some jams. The only thing that disgusted me were some white spots on the carpet in the hallway on the second floor and a stale and dirty air

The hotel location is perfectly well for one-night transfer in Lyon station.

Very convenient for the train station, you go in through the square archway in the middle of the building, friendly reception and our request for a quiet room was respected (top floor)

It's not a fancy hotel but it's extremely clean, they have a well organized luggage storage room, and the rooms have small tea kettles. Just what we needed for a 1 night stop
