Lovely little hotel located within walking distance of the metro and Vieux Lyon. The room had effective air conditioning, a hot shower, and a hair dryer. The downsides were only minor - a somewhat cramped room and quite a limited breakfast service. But I would definitely recommend Hotel des Celestins for a short stay in Lyon!

The Lyon-Quest is a lovely hotel situated right alongside the River Rhône The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and provide all that is needed for a comfortable stay.

I didn’t stay at the hotel, there were some circumstances that led me there, and I just want to say that I was very impressed by one of the receptionists. I was surprised by his kindness, especially considering that I wasn’t even a guest at the hotel.

Except for the small bathroom in the room and the lack of slippers, everything else is available. The bed is clean and the room is tidied. Remember to hand in the key to the front desk when you leave the hotel and pick it up from the front desk when you come back. You can store your luggage for free. It is very close to Perrache SNCF and UCLY is next to it.

It Is nice, and I was on the 5th floor, with a nice view. Might get warm in summer for the rooms facing south.

The Hotel is in a convenient location just across the river from Old Town. Many restaurants, historic sites, cafes bars. I especially want to recognize Pierre, at the front desk, for all his advice and directions. He is a true ambassador for Lyon and for the Saint Vincent.

Fascinating hotel where you see the different centuries of architecture that have been preserved and yet our room was very up to date with a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom and the charm of a beamed ceiling. This hotel has fabulous ambience and does not have the feel of a bland and conventional hotel. Beautiful stone walls ands large airy rooms. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Thanks to the location, really friendly staff and quaint architecture, this three star hotel exceeded our expectations. Fortunately we are able to carry our bags but the lack of an elevator could pose a problem for some travelers. We found the room a bit warm and were unable to lower the thermostat but overall good value for the price.

This lovely small hotel is just round the corner from the Saone and the Passarelle Saint-Vincent in a quiet side street. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the rooms contemporary and comfortable within a lovely old building with wooden beams and stone walls. Very cool on a hot day!

Hotel was decent for a 2 star hotel. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Room was decent, a little bit cramped but managable. Maybe in the future they'll incorporate a safe in each room to leave important belongings in, at the meantime, you need to leave your keys to the reception everytime you go out, not that hassle because theirs always reception. We stayed a night here and it was just what we needed. The entrance was slightly confusing as up on second floor in a building but once inside it was great. The staff were helpful with recommendations in the area. The room was as described and beds were comfy. An easy spot for a night in Lyon as close to everything.

Located only a few minutes walk from all the eateries in Rue Mercier and around 10 minutes into Vieux Lyon over the pedestrian bridge. The hotel is well located nearby Lyon’s Metro bringing us to the city centre only within a few minutes. The Lumiere Institute is also just 5 mins. away from the hotel. The hotel room was humble, a bit outdated.

The hotel is quiet and located near a metro stop. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is environmentally focused. The AC was set at 22C which was a bit warm for us. They also do not use single use plastic. The downside is that you cannot take water to drink while exploring. Breakfast is copious and good.

Coty Hotel My room wasn't very clean throughout the week. The furniture were in poor condition. The desk was missing an office chair. I had a soft arm-chair that was far too low to work on my laptop. The bathroom smelled really bad, and the ventilation didn't work at all. There was mold all over the shower seals. All of this made my stay unpleasant. I will choose a different hotel in the future.

The room was extremely small. There was no closet, there were only 2 hangers in the open. There was no hair dryer, kettle, glass cups, etc. I am writing again, the room was so small that there was no place to put a suitcase. There was a minimum variety at breakfast. The staff was warm and attentive. They had put hot water and coffee bags at the reception. Those who wanted could drink it for free....

Mixed opinion. Although well located geographically, the area is not very pleasant, not very busy in the evening and not very well lit for getting around on foot. The room is comfortable but very very small and the facilities are minimal. (A real chair wouldn't be too much) Nice bedding but stained pillowcase. A convenient budget hotel near Perrache train station, at an approximately 10-minute walking distance. The hotel is very simple, with minimum services afforded, and small rooms, but with comfortable beds. So it was convenient for a short stay to visit Lyon and just return to sleep. Staff at reception were very friendly, professional and helpful.

A cheap place to spend the night in Lyon. There is a strong smell of smoke when you enter the hotel but not inside the rooms. The rooms a quite big, maybe too much ? The beds mattresses however were really old and should be replaced.

We had a great night in this charming establishment. This is the second time we've been here and we won't hesitate to come back. It is noisy indeed, customers calling their friends at 2 am, doors slamming, etc. However the place was cheap and very well situated in Lyon. The receptionists were also super friendly. Sadly, the shared shower is a nightmare, toilets were off for 2 days and the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

This hotel offers good value for the budget traveler in this city. It's a good central location from which to walk. I was impressed that there are separate WiFi routers on each floor to enable WiFi reception on each floor. Many food choices nearby.
