Mercure Paris Orly Airport

At check-in time, staff was new and unexperienced, didn't even know how to use the hotel system or the credit card PoS. On the first day coming back to the room after a full day of work my room door was locked because door device was out of battery. Staff couldn't fix it and after waiting for 2 hours I had to go for a corporate dinner without changing or having access to my suitcase. In the end they transferred my belongings to another room while I was at the dinner and they forgot several of my toilet goods. The new room didn't have soap when I took a shower the morning after, I couldn't use mine because they've left them on the old room. When I claimed for my goods still locked on the old room, the staff advised they had no one to access to it and they would reach out to me to send them via post to my home. I made sure they had my French phone number; I'm still waiting for their call or my goods to be shipped back.

The breakfast on day 2 of my stay was a complete disaster. No bread, no cutlery on the tables or on side tables, no eggs, almost nothing available to eat, not enough staff and clearly no supervisor on duty.

I'm very disappointed with the overall experience and the staff was new, unexperienced and not enough for the size of the hotel. I believe I’ve paid too high room fee for a very poor service. I usually stay in Accor hotels, and this is one of my worst experiences so far.

The whole welcoming area, play area, bar area and rest area are incredible. The welcome staff was very pleasant. Rooms were excruciatingly small and housekeeping hadn't been thoroughly vetted. Staff on departure didn't care the slightest about customers, bordering on making fun of customers. This is a beautified Ibis.

Room had horrible smell. There was a constant wind from the window, even stacking it with extra pillows didn't help. Horrible restaurant experience, part of the menu isn't available, they tried sticking other options without telling me. Extremely slow and disgustingly poor reception services. Paid for B&B and was refused the breakfast as came slightly after 9.30. Facilities were alright, hence 2 stars. I would not recommend to stay here unless it is your last option. Never again.
