Location is everything with this hotel.
Rooms are OK, basic but comfortable. Thought the bathroom could have been much better, some cracks in the floor and sink. Needed a refresh.
Bar in the lobby was nice and the staff were friendly. Would probably stay again as it was central and affordable.

We had a pleasant stay and everyone is friendly. We had specific requests concerning our delayed luggage and they were able to execute efficiently. We loved the breakfast too!

Great location and still very quiet rooms towards a backyard. Very friendly stuff, nice breakfast selection. The room is functional, the bathroom, specially the shower, could use some maintenance once.

The hotel is in a great location and is actually very nice.
Breakfast is delicious and there are a lot of choices. However the staff at the breakfast room and the evening staff at the hotel is very young and unpleasant. Rude and not helpful is an understatement, many whispers under their lips about the amount of food we ate at breakfast and our kids behavior. Also the worst thing is that the AC did not work and it was so much hotter in the hotel than outside. When we approached the reception they offered a fan but nothing else. When you book a hotel room with AC you expect to get a working AC or a comparable solution (like another room) but we did not.

The location of the hotel is excellent, providing easy access to many of the city's main attractions. This made sightseeing very convenient and enjoyable.
However, the rooms are quite small, which was a bit disappointing. The bathroom, unfortunately, was not very well cleaned, and the sink was cracked, which is a crucial aspect for any hotel stay. Additionally, the fridge in the room was not working, which was inconvenient. Despite our requests, we were not provided with additional shower gel when it ran out.
On a positive note, the breakfasts were satisfactory and provided a good start to the day.
Overall, while the location is superb, there are some areas that definitely need improvement.

We're here for 5 days. Staff was quite helpful when my euro power adapter failed. The breakfast service was the best during my trip to France. And their food eatery suggestions were great. Everything was a short walk away.

Clean, easy access to gare de Montparnasse, great service, bar opened until late, lots of nice restaurants around. Really recommend it! Would definitely come back!

Best location. Clean room, but the toilet accessories are a bit old. Nice receptionist. Flight attendance accommodation.
5-10 mins to Montparnasse trains station, and several metro stations. (No noise from train station) Ideal for day trip to western region, if taking a morning train.
The bar, cafe and restaurants nearby are wonderful with tasty speciality food such as truffade, lyonnais, Brittany crêpe, kebab,. Lots of local dine there.
Noise from the bar on ground floor may be an issue in summer, It’s ok for me as I close the windows in winter.
The receptionists are nice and helpful.
Especially appreciate the drinking water machine with sparkling water on the lift lobby.
Will definitely stay again if coming to Paris in future.

The Mercure rooms in Europe especially in Paris are not the best to be honest. They are small, the most basic amenities, they don't turn on the air conditioning till the beginning of summer, they're not so clear about when exactly but they do provide an electric fan.The redeeming quality? Location, location,location! They are located right smack in the center of everything! Near the Eiffel Tower, in the middle of shops and restaurants and theaters in Montparnasse. You basically walk outside and you can go have a nice lunch or dinner, watch people or go visit one of those nice little shops, or go to Monoprix. The staff is welcoming and friendly, nice breakfast. I would have given it a 5 stars if they just turned on that dang air-conditioning!

A very pleasant stay at this hotel in a great location. Standard Accor/Mercure room, so no nasty surprises. I would especially like to note the director and his entire team, their attentive attitude towards the customer and sense of developed service.
