The rooms were warm and cozy, which was especially appreciated with the freezing weather outside. The location is extremely convenient — there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, and the tram is only a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to get anywhere in Paris.
A huge bonus was a large department store just around the corner (similar to Target or Marks & Spencer) that had almost everything we needed during our stay.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was excellent for Paris, especially during the busy New Year’s period. If you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and well-connected place to stay and don’t mind shared bathrooms, Hotel F1 is a great choice.
I specifically booked a room with a private bathroom inside the room, which is a basic and essential requirement for me. This was clearly indicated in my booking, and I showed the confirmation to the receptionist upon arrival. However, I was informed that the bathroom was shared/common, and the receptionist simply told me that I may have made a mistake.
As a frequent traveler who books hotels regularly, I find it extremely unlikely to overlook such an important detail. The presence of a private bathroom is one of the most critical factors when choosing accommodation. This is the first time I have encountered a situation where a hotel presents itself as offering private facilities, only to discover that the bathroom is shared.
This type of setup is more comparable to a motel or short-stay accommodation rather than a standard hotel. Had the information been clearly stated in the advertisement, I would not have made the booking.
It's good for anyone who want to back pack and use the rooms to sleep.
Difretn styles for difrent ppl. We chose a tandem room so we had to share bathroom ( but in all fairness it was fine as there is 3 shower cubicle and 3 toilets each one been separated and private)
From hotel there is plenty trams, busses and metros and plenty nice restaurants.
The amenities are fine but some times the bathrooms were kind of used. It think it is normal for sharing bathrooms but still.
