Avalon Cosy Hotel

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Gare du Nord, which was incredibly handy for my travels. The proximity to the metro also made it easy to explore the city.

The neighborhood itself isn’t the most appealing, but this was more than compensated for by the super friendly and helpful staff. They were always ready to assist and provided useful tips about the area.

My room was clean and equipped with all the essentials, including a kettle, which was a nice touch. I personally didn’t find the carpet very appealing, but I understand that it may be necessary to reduce noise, as the rooms are quite small. The bathroom was also clean, although there were some mold spots in the grout that could use some attention.

The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was also good, with a decent variety of options to start the day. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially thanks to the friendly staff and the convenient location. This hotel is a good choice for a short stay in Paris!

The hotel was close enough to the airport for tourists like my family.I enjoyed the breakfast service but there could have been a better variety of foods to opt for.The rooms could have been bigger,including the toilet.The staff were really friendly and informative about the hotel.

This is a quaint hotel in the heart of Paris. Easy to get from the hotel to other locations via walking/metro. Our room was very tiny (think the movie "European Vacation"), but we kind of expected that for many rooms in Europe. The balcony was also super tiny (so we didn't actually go out on it). The "window" to the balcony overlooked a busy street with traffic (and police/emergency vehicle sirens) heard all-night long (we actually got used to it & found it comforting). With the window closd, the traffic noise nearly disappeared.

The room was comfortable and the bathroom was tiny. The elevator barely fit my wife & I with small luggage. Part of the hotel was under remodeling, but that didn't cause us any problems. The staff was friendly & the room was clean. I wouldn't mind staying there again.

The hotel was lovely - very clean, comfortable and was decorated very nicely. The room was small, but we expected that and was big enough for a few nights stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was well located just a 3 minute walk to Gard du Nord train station.

We'd definitely stay here again.

The rooms are clean and nice but too small, which is usual in Paris hotels. The staff are very nice with good speakimg of English. The location is excellent, few meters from the Gare du Nord and few meters from Metro lines 2 and 4.

I booked 3 rooms with Avalon Hotel from 16th to the 20th August, Hotel is in a great location, great staff. Most friendly and helpful reception staff ever. I would like thank each reception staff personally, Francesco, Antonia, Jason and Georgia also the gentleman who was working with Georgia, Sorry forgot your name. My daughter wasn't feeling well he offered to call doctor for us. I was impressed by their commitment going the extra mile. They even let me sit on in the dining area after checkout another good few hours. Keep up the good work guys

This hotel is convenient to the train station and staff very accommodating. The room had a great view and you definitely feel like your in Paris. It's a bit far to walk to the heart of Paris but we did it. Be aware the AC when we were there was not great but it's pretty standard for a European hotel.

Great location, very close to Gare du Nord. There are lots of pharmacies, restaurants, luggage storage, minimarts and shops in the area. Three stars for the rooms simply because they are small compared to your regular hotels. This is an old converted walk-up building so the rooms are just normally small and definitely not for the big and tall. However, if you can look past this you will find the rooms are functional, clean and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I locked my key card in my room and they fixed me a new without batting an eyelid.
