B Montmartre in Paris

Good location and great shower but really uncomfortable pillows (I went and bought another one after our 2nd night) and our room was only cleaned twice in the 5 nights. The staff were kind but they seemed to be understaffed with only one person doing ALL the room cleaning!

Our stay at the B momartre hotel in Paris began on a slightly disappointing note. The website promised a welcome drink on arrival—a small gesture, but one that adds a touch of hospitality. Unfortunately, this was nowhere to be found, and no explanation was offered.

The rooms themselves are clean, modern, and functional, but definitely on the smaller side. For travelers used to a bit more space, it might feel a bit tight, especially if you have large luggage.

Breakfast is one of the highlights: the quality is good, with fresh pastries, good coffee, and tasty options. However, the offers are limited and could be more extensive, which is surprising given the price point. A bit more variety—and quantity—would go a long way.

That said, the hotel’s real gem is its charming patio. Tucked away from the buzz of the city, it’s a lovely, quiet space to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening. It brings a welcome breath of calm in the heart of Paris.

Overall, while the hotel has its charms—especially the patio — the experience doesn’t quite live up to its price tag. With a few thoughtful improvements, it could offer much better value for money.
