The rooms are comfortable and clean, replete with soft slippers and L'Occitane toiletries, the interior design delightful (my personal favourite being the breakfast room and the foyer), the staff courteous and helpful, and the location sublime - less than five minutes’ walk from George V metro station, and two steps away from Avenue des Champs-Elysées and Avenue George V.
The continental breakfast is amongst the best of its kind I have had, with fresh coffee and baked goods for each table and an array of high-quality French produce to choose from.
I feel nostalgic about this place whenever I leave and look forward to returning again.
The breakfast area and the service were very good.
The front desk were very welcoming during day and night except for the early morning shift on October 9.The attendant was not friendly and he refused to provide a small bottle of water as complimentary at check out time which was 5:00 am.
His behaviors blew all the good and positive experience encountered at the hotel!!!!
Throughout our stay, Noel was incredibly helpful—offering advice about getting around Paris, assisting with transportation, and always available with a warm smile and helpful suggestions. On our departure day, we had a very early flight, and the team thoughtfully offered us take-out breakfasts from their lovely breakfast buffet, which was such a considerate touch.
The service here is truly top-notch, and the hospitality made our trip even more special. We highly recommend Hotel François 1er and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to Noel and the team for such a memorable experience!
In terms of value for money, I highly doubt you’ll find better in Paris with the location this hotel provides.
