We arrived at the Hotel Rochester Champs-Elysee and were greeted by our Viking host. The hotel was nicely located by most things we wanted to see for Christmas in Paris. We could walk to amazing restaurants and see the lights of Dior & Chanel Shops then walk to Galerie Lafayette to see the tree. The hotel helped with booking dinner reservations. We hadn't seen such a selection at breakfast, it was so lovely we went there each day.

Rooms are very nice but the size is smaller than whats indicated in room description, decoration is great, clean,, nice windows,, service is very good and staff is very nice,, location is great and close to many attraction sites

Great location, rooms are clean and comfortable. However, the overall 2-stars is due to the construction going on. Waking up to loud banging, hammering is NOT fun. They never even mentioned anything about any construction or disruptions. There were no signs to indicate there were any renovations or upgrades being made. Truly disappointing when you’re trying to rest.

The location is excellent, but the housekeeping is poor; despite requests, the room is not properly cleaned, and the bedding are not changed. Additionally, the cleaning lady was yelling at us that she didn't want to change the bedding. I won't suggest that anyone visit this place in order to feel appreciated and at ease. Specially that when I requested to change that cleaning lady they sent her back to clean the room and she was angry.

Staff is very rude.
Taxi has flat rate for transportation to airport which the advised us - and there was a sticker on the taxi window. But at the last minute when we were ready to head out to airport they raised the price to $90. Note: they made the reservation after they put our luggage in storage and told us about the flat rate. Oh and we arrived by taxi from the day before with exactly same amount of luggage. The front staff (lady with dark long hair and bold older gentleman don’t greet you and don’t thank you as you leave). In the morning we came to check out and they just looked at us and kept talking amongst themselves. Very unprofessional. Too bad bc the hotel otherwise was nice.

Absolutely amazing hotel, with fantastic accommodation in an excellent location - The service was brilliant and all of the staff members went out of their way to make our family’s stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible, especially as we were travelling with our young children.
Will definitely recommend and would stay here again next time we visit Paris.

The rooms look good, they do look like they have been refurbished, not sure if they did, the service is okay when you arrive, concierge help with the bags, smooth check in, reception are okay, not overly friendly but also not aggressive, I prefer if they were friendly however, never had any greeting from them when passing by, the concierge are a hit or miss, some are helpful and nice, some are busy, when checking out was not helped with my luggage, not a deal breaker though.
The location is excellent however, very close to Champs Elysees, and located next to a bunch of excellent restaurants, and a supermarket, very convenient.
Overall, I would stay here again but would look for alternatives as well.

Absolutely excellent hotel! Our room was well appointed, spacious and beautiful. The staff was outstanding, Ismayel brought our bags to the room, and was courteous, friendly and welcoming! Yulia at the front desk, was outstanding and dealt with our request promptly, politely and with outmost genuine care 💖 breakfast was excellent! We used sauna, gym and steam. What a treat after two weeks of traveling in Europe ! We will back. Oh yes, the concierge, the kindest and sweetest gentleman who recommended a bistro to have light dinner. We will see you all again in Paris🇫🇷💖

Hotel Rochester was the most amazing hotel we have stayed at. The bed was a lot larger than we thought it would be as most hotel rooms in Paris are small so they have small beds. The staff was easy to talk to and provided great recommendations in English. Everything is within reach here - shopping, dining, transportation - and still quiet outside. The nearby 1 train will take you everywhere you want to go as a tourist in Paris.

A good place to be in Paris and good location for many walking trips. Viking Cruises connected us for our stay prior to our river cruise, so breakfast was included. That was great because we didn't need to start each day with a search for breakfast.
