Hotel Paris Bruxelles

Our hole room was covered in mold even the bathroom! Everyone could just come in anytime because the doors didn’t shut. I don’t recommend….

the best thing about it is the location, allow bag storage after & before check in and some of the staffs are friendly and approachable.

our room is really hot, there’s no fan, even in the bathroom, after a shower, the whole room feels like a sauna.
the window access is facing the back of a fast food restaurant which is very inconvenient, wall is really thin, we can heard people’s phone alarm going off in the morning and heard others talking.

breakfast is available (coffee tea, and some bread) but please make sure you have them on ur booking bc we didn’t we just had it, and was asked to pay €10 each after. which is quite unpleasant as the breakfast seems more like a buffet that we thought offered to all customers. i feel like they should at least check before letting everyone have breakfast and request payment after. if we knew, we would rather try some other local breakfast place instead.

also, pls remember that they do make u pay €1-2 / person upon checking in, apparently is some kind of a city tax. this is on top of your booking cost.

The location is the only plus point for this hotel.

Too small rooms but I guess it's just the hotel being old. Me being a big guy could not fit in the bathroom of the rooms. Bumped my head multiple times against the shower walls and doors.

They're a little bit ignorant on the services, no hand wash in the room, when we asked for more shampoo/body wash the lady at the counter said they didn't have any but the guy provided everything later when we asked them.

Over all I would recommend anyone to pay some more and stay somewhere else.

Very hot, small room. Clean enough, bit weird stuff.

The hotel is quite old with squeaking floor, ceiling, doors and staircase. The facilities advertised are not available and are misleading. Hot water was missing for 2 of our 3 days stay. Wi-Fi literally did not work on the 3rd floor. The bathroom door would not close and shower drain will not drain. The room given to us was open and seems like someone has been smoking there. Had to ask for room freshener as the receptionist would not change the room. We complained twice regarding hot water, wifi, bathroom door and none was fixed. We were given response that if he was owner, he would have fixed these issues way back, and I should talk to the owner. Also, the room was noisy, too noisy unless u close the windows which you would not want to as they don't have AC or Fan in the room.
Only good thing was location, near subway and 20-30 mins to some attractions. For one day, maybe you can manage, but not if u want to stay longer. Also, with family, I would not recommend at all. We could not use shower and the rooms and bathroom are so small, that you feel claustrophobic in there. Even the lift is so small, that you would not like to use it and we eneded up using the stairs which again is not in great shape.
On contacting the Hotel after our trip, they denied the existence of these problems and stated all were taken care. Well, to take care of bathroom door, u need to replace it and so is for the drain. Wifi also, needs to be upgraded to fix the bandwidth and signal strength issue. Only issue taken care was hot water, and that also on the last day. I was put in 316 which if you get, do make sure the issues have been fixed.
