Five Boutique Hotel Quartier Latin

We stayed in room 301. There were old, dried bloodstain drips from the side of the bed, under the bedside table all the way towards under the table even more blood drops. It kinda looked like a crime scene. We didnt say anything because it was 10pm and we were the last ones to check in. I KNOW the cleaners see the blood when they take out the trash that's next to the blood stains under the table! Im surprised they leave it like that. The room doesnt feel very clean.. like dusty. Decor is old. The closet size shower barely fits one person. Also the shower has black cracks/scratches all over the bottom and feels scratchy standing on it. The staircase outside the room is so narrow and close to the elevator, people can easily fall if not careful. The elevator sometimes doesnt work and it just flashes and stops. Had to keep pressing it. If the room decor was newer and cleaner, the room wouldn't be too bad. But for the price you get and what you recieve definitely not worth the value.

Location-based, the neighborhood feels more local and its quiet most of the time. Like another reviewer said, it is near an hospital so expect sirens. It didnt bother us too much since it doesnt last very long and we pass out after a long day. We planned to walk to most attractions which wasnt so bad because there were many attractions along the way. For days we paid for the subway, we didnt want to pay again for the bus, so we walked 15-30mins back depending on which train you use. On a sunny day not too bad but when its raining, we dread it. Lots of restaurants around and grocery stores.

Overall its an okay stay but definitely not 4 stars. Staff were nice tho but that's about it.
