Hôtel De l'Arcade

PROS:
Really friendly staff.
Good location for restaurants.
Great size room (Prestige suite)
Good air conditioning.
The balcony was nice, albeit awkward to access (except the mouse that ran along it, but this isn't the hotels fault)

CONS:
The price for the standard wasn't as expected, at almost €700 per night I was certainly hoping for much better.
Charging €4 for a small bottle of water.
Very uncomfortable bed and pillows - option of different pillow firmness would have been good.
Very dated room.
Very tired areas such as scuffed walls, floors and flaking damp ceiling & walls.
Sofa uncomfortable for relaxing.
Tap in bathroom leaked onto the floor, notified reception but nobody visited to resolve.
Shower doors dont fully close, no shelf within shower to place shampoo etc.
