Hôtel Cordelia Opéra-Madeleine

The Hotel Cordelia was the perfect choice for my short stay in Paris (combined business/leisure). The location is unbeatable—just a few minutes from several metro stations, yet quiet on a small side street across from a small bar where you can still get a beer even after midnight. The hotel is very cozy, and the service is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was just right for me, with attentive service. The rooms are beautifully furnished, and despite their relatively small size by local standards, the bathroom is very well equipped and accessible. The bed is comfortable, with a Nordic duvet, the ventilation works well, and the settings are accessible. I can recommend the Hotel Cordelia at any time.

Cozy, Charming, and Perfectly Located

We stayed at Hotel Cordelia in July 2025 and absolutely loved it. The location is unbeatable — we walked everywhere! It’s close to the metro, restaurants, shopping, and still tucked away just enough to feel local.

Our room was cozy and comfortable, with a sweet little balcony overlooking the street and café below. The bed was great (though the pillows were a bit firm for my taste), and breakfast was a highlight — a perfect mix of French pastries, meats, cheeses, & more. The breakfast staff was especially lovely — on our first morning, they even arranged a silver tray of food for my husband to bring up so we could eat on our balcony. It was such a thoughtful touch.

The staff overall was friendly and helpful, and while there’s no fitness room, walking all over Paris more than made up for it. If you’re a budget-conscious traveler who loves to explore on foot, Hotel Cordelia is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Let's start with the pros: The location is excellent, just a few blocks from Galeries Lafayette; the room was nice and spacious, with two floor-to-ceiling windows letting in lots of light; the service was excellent, and the front desk was very friendly.

The cons: The shower temperature was only in the 20s! The water heater must have been broken, which was frustrating. After running for over ten minutes at full blast, the water still felt cold. The next day, the water in the bathroom was surprisingly warm. There's a restaurant across the street, and Parisians eat late, so it was a shame the noise downstairs was still going strong at midnight. It wasn't so bad I couldn't sleep, and the windows were soundproof, but it wasn't exactly quiet.

Overall, it's highly recommended. I've stayed in three hotels in the area, and this one offers good value.

I thought it would be cramped, but it turned out to be quite nice, probably because the layout of the furniture in the room is very reasonable. The decoration is warm and retro European style. However, the overall facilities are quite new, but the kettle and hair dryer are a bit old and there is no refrigerator. The breakfast included is relatively simple, but it will be changed within a limited range, which is okay. I like the front desk staff very much, they are very warm and polite.

Even though our arrival time was significantly delayed due to a flight change, they kindly accommodated our check-in. The room was very clean, and the beds were made beautifully every day. The breakfast staff were also very kind and the service was excellent. All of Paris' major tourist sites are within walking distance, but the surrounding area is very quiet. There is a shop across the street that is open until late at night, so it was bright and safe even when we walked around at night. Everything was great. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Paris.

Well located hotel

It was quite late when I booked a hotel in Paris. I wanted a 3-star hotel close to the city center and convenient transportation. This hotel surprisingly met all these requirements. The price is very affordable. The internal facilities are complete. The service is also very thoughtful. It takes only 7 minutes to walk to the transportation hub. There are also many convenient restaurants around. Recommended! I might come again next time. It is very close to the Champs Elysees and Place de la Concorde.

Location: The hotel is in a good location, 5 minutes walk to Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, and there are delicious Chinese restaurants around.
Facilities: There is a bathtub, very clean, and good ventilation.
Hygiene: Very clean, comfortable bathing, strong water flow, and good water temperature.
Service: Breakfast is very cost-effective and the service staff is also very good.
Disadvantages: The aisle in the room is a bit narrow, and the comfort of the bedding is average. If you have sensitive skin, it is recommended to be cautious.

Great location, close to pharmacies, restaurants, and metro stations.
All the staff are super friendly, especially the breakfast lady.
The rooms are a bit small yet nice and cozy. The beds are quite comfortable.
I had a two bed reservation but they gave me first a one bed room, after talking to the hostess she very kindly made the change.
Really recommend this hotel for its service, location, and nice.

Good hotel, rooms cleaned every day and towels changed (which is not every 3 star hotel).
Nice view from the window, near many places where you can eat, as well as many attractions in walking distance.
A pleasing bonus - bathrobes and disposable slippers (although we did not get slippers for all 4 nights of stay, but our friends in the next room got it), and also New Year's candies. 🥰
