ibis Styles Paris Gare de l'Est Chateau Landon

My recent stay at ibis Styles Paris Gare de l'Est Château Landon was disappointing would be a massive understatement. Based on my experience, this establishment is nowhere near deserving of a 3-star rating; in reality, it's closer to a very generous 1-star.
The problems began immediately upon entering my room. It was evident that the room had not been properly cleaned. This was just the tip of the iceberg. The beds were stinky, making for a very unpleasant and frankly, unhygienic sleeping environment.
The state of the bathroom was appalling. The door was broken, Furthermore, all the fittings in the bathroom were broken, making basic tasks difficult and frustrating.
To add insult to injury, the air conditioning was not working. I was provided with a heater from reception – highlighting the hotel's inability to address fundamental room functions.
Adding to the disappointment, the breakfast offered was very basic and lacked variety and quality. It was far from the standard one would expect from a 3-star hotel.
Finally, the room telephone was not working. This meant that every time I needed something – whether it was to report the numerous issues or request basic services – I had to physically go down to the reception. This was incredibly inconvenient and time-consuming.
Overall, my experience at ibis Styles Paris Gare de l'Est Château Landon was abysmal. The lack of cleanliness, broken amenities, non-functioning essentials, and subpar breakfast made for an incredibly uncomfortable and frustrating stay. This hotel is severely lacking in basic maintenance and service. I strongly advise against staying here. It is certainly not worth the price or the advertised 3-star rating. You would be better off looking elsewhere for accommodation in Paris.
