Reviews
Unfortunately, despite the confirmation, the hotel never processed the refund. When I contacted them directly, they denied any knowledge of the cancellation agreement.
This experience raises concerns about the hotel's communication and trustworthiness. This is clearly a bad ethic, they had to provide wrong information, canceled the booking so that they can rent it out to others during the Olympics. so greedy.
The room was quite spacious with 2 wardrobes and a large bathroom. However, the room was incredibly warm when we returned in the evening. We could not get the air-con to work and asked for assistance off the staff on reception. Staff advised that the issue was know and it would be fixed in a few weeks
Additionally, when we awoke after the first night, the sink and vanity unit were covered with ants. These were coming through a hole in wall.
I complained to a member of staff on the reception desk who plainly stated that he would ask cleaning staff to apply some spray. I stated that this wasn't sufficient if there was a nest behind the wall and advised that we would be looking to leave that day if no other rooms were available.
The member of staff advised that there was another room, which was next door to ours. We asked if he could confirm whether there had been any issues in this room, and he advised that they were aware of issues in some rooms, but the second room they offered had no infestation.
We were shocked that this was a known issue that has not been dealt with, and the hotel is continuing to offer this room for sale.
Due to this, we checked out of the hotel that morning, having found another hotel online.
At no point did the staff member apologise for the condition of the room or the inconvenience caused.
Paris is a fantastic city, and we will definitely return. However, we will not be returning to this hotel, nor would we recommend it to anyone.
Great location (Le Marais) and quiet after 10pm.
The bathroom is insane - as big as the entire room and the shower is impeccable.
Toiletries by CO Bigelow...
Nice view with huge windows, too.
Front desk staff are very extremely courteous, and we were able to check into the room ahead of 2pm.
Cost of 3 nights booked ahead was €535.
Located in a great location, in the marais quarter.
Very close (less than 5 minutes) to 2 metro stations, and to many great coffee shops and restaurants.
The rooms are modern, very clean and contain all the amenities needed.
The staff is very welcoming, smiley and knows perfect english.
Super friendly staff.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel. I stayed in 102 for the first night. There was trash in the bathroom trash can, the shower had black mold on the ceiling, and the shower drain was clogged causing water to spill onto the bathroom floor. I told management, who did take out the trash and looked to see if there was anything to pull out of the drain, but there was no obvious reason for the water to back up. I was told the cleaning staff would address the mold in the morning and that nothing could be done overnight. There were no other rooms available, so I was told I would get another room the following day; however, I was unable to check into the room until 2:00 pm as it had to be properly cleaned. So I essentially went half a day without a clean room to use. When I used the shower in the morning before switching rooms, the water had backed up again and started spilling into the floor. Again, I let management know. When I was able to move to a different room, there were no issues. The rooms are pretty small, but functional. They do have tile floor, so anytime the guests above you roll their suitcase, move a chair, or walk around you can hear it. There was also pretty significant street noise until around 11:00 pm. When I went to sign out, I asked the desk attendant if anything was being done to address my first night. He said the room was hospitable and the problems were fixed. I explained to him the reasons I had to change rooms/ that they were not fixed on my first night and offered to show him pictures, but he kept repeating himself. He had actually told me that they had painted over the mold in the room during this time, which was pretty shocking. Nothing was done for me to address the poor quality of my first night stay. I truly hope this was a one off experience.
