Hotel de France Gare de Lyon Bastille

We would like to thank the wonderful Team who work at the hotel, especially at reception, for such great service. Friendly, kind, accommodating in the middle of the Olympics. All you need in a hotel. Good proximity to services. I’ll definitely go there again if in Paris. Great value as well!

Small, refurbished in modern style, good sized room for couple on 1 night stay, staff professional, good choice for breakfast. I deal location 5 min work from Gare de Lyon railway station, metro, buses all nearby. I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay again.

Great welcome by the staff, well presented hotel with clean comfortable room and good location. Rooms are compact and shower room is basic, but quality and presentation is well above average.

Cosy hotel in a great location very near to Gare de Lyon. The space inside the hotel is a bit tight and so are the rooms but the service was very good and loved the coffee there 😄 breakfast was fine. Lots of eateries nearby.

The room was clean, beds confortable. We were in the 5th floor so we didn't hear the street noise if their was any.
The location very practical, few minutes walk from Gare de Lyon and Bastille.

A great little hotel conveniently located in Gare de Lyon near the metro. The staff are really friendly and the hotel feels brand new. The room had everything you’d expect from a hotel was very clean and comfortable. His and hers sinks are a great touch. Air conditioning in July was perfect. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone spending a weekend in Paris.

I really liked the hotel a lot. It's simple but very comfortable, with very clean and new facilities. The bed is very comfortable with clean sheets and pillows. Breakfast is tasty, with good options, but not varied, but that is the hotel's proposal. The team is polite and attentive. My wife and I had a pleasant and restful time at the hotel. We liked a lot.

Recently remodeling has really upgraded the hotel. The amenities are quite nice and the rooms feel upscale. With that said there are room size issues that impact your experience. There's precious little storage in the room and the bathroom so you have to juggle your things depending on who's using the shower at a given moment. The toilet is in a separate room within your room. If someone is in the shower you can't wash your hands after the toilet. That's a daily issue that I can't gloss over. On the other hand the rooms are very quiet and we place a premium on that. In addition the hotel is located in the heart of the city so there's plenty to do close by and easy access to mass transit options. I would stay here again but next time be prepared for the space constraints.
