The entire staff of this hotel needs to be commended. Friendly, helpful, courteous and most of all went out of their way to assure we had everything we needed.
The breakfast buffet was amazing. The location was perfect right across the street from the beach. We had a parking space directly in front of the hotel. I cannot say enough good things about it.

Located right on the beach. 15 minutes from the old town. Clean rooms. Quite large. Comfortable bed. Small swimming pool. Good experience in total.

We booked our holiday before the Covid-19 outbreak here at the Swell Boutique Hotel. Before we started the trip, we had doubts that everything was going well, but this was unfounded! Hygiene is very important everywhere! Upon entering Crete we were greeted warmly. We had a nice room with a sea view and a very clean room. The premises were disinfected regularly in addition to “regular” cleaning. All employees were wearing masks, like ours in Germany. There was no buffet at breakfast, but there was a nice waitress who brought you everything from the buffet. On our departure (tomorrow) we even received a small parting gift. In Crete itself it is now very, very empty, so there were no problems with sun loungers from 10 am :) In general, you can recommend a holiday in Crete

Very nice hotel right on the Rethymno promenade. A feeling of a little luxury. Will gladly pay for it, but it's worth it. Beach view from living room and bedroom

We stayed in June and are just now getting around to writing our review. The staff was so professional, kind, and friendly! Everything was beautiful- the rooms, the views- everything! The front desk people couldn't have been nicer. Oh, don't let me forget to mention the incredible food. Parking was a bit tricky, but we would still stay there again a thousand times over. We'd recommend Swell to anyone wanting a fantastic experience on the most exquisite island in Greece! The location was perfect, and we enjoyed every moment.

The hotel was nice and clean. Good air-condition and lovely service. Nice view from the balcony.
The staff are all very nice and will greet you with a smile
The bar has many good drinks, and the bartenders will try to make other drinks if you ask for it.
The restaurant also has good food and the breakfast is heavenly with lots of food to choose from.
It's also very close to the beach and other restaurants and shops.
Highly recommen staying at this place :D

Personally for me, the quality of the Wi-Fi was crucial, first of all, as I planned to work remotely from room. It was great and stable, about 30 Mb/s.
The beach exceeded all my expectations, the sea looked like an ocean.
A few words about stuff. This is really a team of professionals! Any of our questions were resolved very quickly and in the most polite and friendly manner.

Excellent hotel, the staff really makes you feel at home and come back again (don’t think anything bad - they won’t beat you). Good breakfasts. Not a bad restaurant Nereas
