This is hostel so bare that in mind when booking. You get what you pay for, this is £10 per night per person. The location is EXCELLENT and couldn’t be any better. The staff are amazing and really easy to contact. Beds are comfy, a balcony upstairs and there is a fridge and cooking facilities upstairs (though I think some people live here full time so there wasn’t much space). Everything is clean just a bit run down. My only niggle would be the showers are very small however the waters warm and the pressures good. I would recommend when travelling! Also the other guest are all nice and keep themselves to themselves.

You get what you pay for! Fantastic location in the mix of a bunch of fun bars and coffee shops. Walking distance to Acropolis, which can also be seen from the terrace. The guy at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. The lost souls that were staying there would stare at you as if they were going to hurt you in your sleep (definitely not your typical backpackers seemed more like long-term residents living in tent camps). The kitchen was a joke. 3 coffee cups for about 85 people. The hot plate doesn't heat, and the kettle has no lid. The toilets have no seats. The shower water was hot, but the stall was so small that when you touched the walls, you felt dirtier than when you got in. Beds came with free bugs, and there was an ogre sleeping in our room.

I got badly bitten by bed bugs in this hostel. Hundreds of bites that formed large welts as they enlarged - and even blisters. They were on my toes, feet, legs, hands, arms, back and face. They lasted for over 2 weeks and were very itchy. A guy in the room had also been bitten many times. The location was very central, but the kitchen was tiny and the living room and balcony were very dirty. The showers were so small that there was almost no room on each side of my shoulders. I stayed in early-mid June 2023 and the room was very very hot. But those things were all fine. The worst thing was the bed bugs - I had a strong reaction (anti-histamines didn’t help) and the bites became huge and I had to go to the doctor and take two types of pills.

Worst place ever. Rude reception. I booked this place for 1 night due to stop over but immediately cancelled about 3 minutes later. They refused to refund me 13 euros and kept my money as a cancellation fee. Even by European law for purchases online you have the right to withdraw within the first hours of your purchase. I asked nicely for a refund to which I received an abrupt and rude response from reception. Its no wonder this place is reviewed so badly. The only reason I put 1 is because 0 is not an option.

Good place - I spent 3 month here. The Italian guy work so hard and Yannis the Greek guy is so friendly and welcomingDamet the Turkish is nice and friendly. Overall a good place, I would recommend for cheap place to rent

I catch some small bugs from the bed here - it’s so unclean and the reception refuse to move me. The bugs are attacking my body. I paid for my stay here and they refuse to give me different bed even though there is some spaces. They try to make like I am problem. However their bed has given me disease from bugs

Very bad experience. I informed the reception I would arrive late and they said it will all be ready, but they forgot about that so I had to wait for half an hour. Bathrooms very small for a room of 16 people and I was given no locker room key so i had to put all my things in my bed.

Put us in a room filled with bed bugs, and got angry at us for asking for another room. Also randomly removed all our bedsheets when we were out, and got angry because our locker key numbers where rubbed away..

Terrible place, the beds has bedbugs that stings in the night! Had to go out in the street, no help from owner, no refund, kust laught at my face ..
STAY AWAY!!
By the way it's also smell owfull and dirty... So.....

very run down hostel, the owners are not even there to see the state of the kitchen or the beds. many complaints about chinhes, the kitchen without cooking utensils, only some plastic cups, when the capacity of the hostel is 70 people, the kitchen is not enough to cook for more than 3 people,
