Reviews
Pleasant place for a short stay with a great location for all the sites in Athens. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The rooms are adequate and they have a nice balcony. Its overlooking the road but if you look left you can see in the distance one of the temples. But the balcony is nice to sit out.
The have a mini fridge and TV the usual stuff.
The WiFi isn't great, it might be 50/50 for streaming but you will be able to visit websites.
The shower is a bit annoying as it will give you cold water at times Sony have to mess with the switch to get the right pressure and temperature. Not terrible but you don't want to get splashed with cold water in the morning.
When we went there were these strange people (must have been young as in 18-20) and they were laughing loud in the corridors and running around... not sure they each had a room and they were "playing" in the corridor.
They were doing that between 10pm to 2am some nights so be aware you can hear everything.
Breakfast
Breakfast was alright, nothing special I'm afraid. If you are used to a big continental breakfast from other hotels you might be disappointed however its OK.
Maybe because there are alot of food places around the hotel that they don't focus on a full breakfast.
Location
The location is excellent, its right next to everything. There are loads of restaurants you can visit and you can even walk to the Acorpolis from here. You can take public transport too but its actually easy to walk and you can get an ice cream on the way.
I would recommend this hotel based on location and just hope you don't get unruly guests.
Try and find a nice bakery or sandwich shop for breakfast. They have some lovely bakeries with sandwiches.
Since my first stay here un February 2008, this has been my only hotel whenever I’m in Athens, so probably says it all. I’ve recommended it to friends, who also use it when in Athens, so very satisfied.
Excellent location, friendly staff, nice clean room and bathroom, good bed, couldn’t ask for more.
In warmer months, breakfast is served at the roof terrace which has a stunning view to Acropolis.
We were running late due to flight delays and cancellations, the hotel was super responsive to my emails. The front desk employees were all friendly and very helpful in answering all questions about local places. The breakfast was unbelievable, great food every morning. The view in our room was absolutely gorgeous. We were in Greece for Up The Hammers metal fest and being close to the train station and lots of historical sites was perfect. My only suggestion would be that when time comes to update the televisions that a Smart TV that could be logged into with personal accounts would be appreciated by travelers. Overall a fantastic experience.
