Reviews
The following day, Nick finally moved us to a different floor, but we received the same type of room, and once again, the air conditioning was ineffective. I had to soak the bed sheet in water just to get some sleep. Nick dismissed our concerns and didn't want to listen to our complains. If you find yourselves in rooms 202 or 302, I recommend checking the air conditioning beforehand.
By the next morning, my patience had worn thin. I didn't travel 10,000 miles to endure discomfort on my vacation. Thankfully, after speaking with the owner, the air conditioning was finally fixed. George, who was very helpful and pleasant, deserves five stars for his assistance and is the reason I initially refrained from writing a negative review. However, on our last day, as we were checking out, we received this breakfast-to-go (picture included below), which added to my disappointment. It only included a juice box and a sandwich, which was just thrown into the bag. By the way, their breakfast is very delicious but we only ate there once, even though the breakfast was included in the price.
The rooms, although on the small size, are presented very clean, beds and bathrooms done each day.
The staff are truly amazing.
The breakfast up on the 4th floor will be missed. A buffet of cakes and croissants with self-serve coffee is followed by eggs and sausages or salads made to order.
This hotel is well worth considering.
I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this hotel. From the moment I entered the room, I was shocked by how incredibly small it was — barely enough space to move around the bed. It felt more like a storage closet than a hotel room.
The smell in the room was awful and lingering — a mix of mustiness and something unpleasant I couldn’t quite place. Definitely not what you want when you’re trying to relax or sleep.
To make matters worse, there was no window with access to natural light, which made the room feel even more claustrophobic and gloomy. It honestly felt more like a basement than a hotel room.
What made it even worse was that the room was wildly overpriced for what was offered. I expected at least basic comfort at that rate, but it was far from worth the money.
The only redeeming quality was the homemade omelette served at breakfast — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Sadly, a good omelette doesn’t make up for a bad night's stay.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. Save your money and stay somewhere that offers both comfort and value.
I don’t even know where to start. This so-called "hotel" in Athens was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The room was tiny beyond belief—barely enough space to stand, let alone move around. The bed was so small, it felt like a child’s cot, and it was incredibly uncomfortable.
The room had no windows, so there was absolutely no fresh air or natural light. It felt like being trapped in a smelly, airless box. Speaking of which, the smell was unbearable—a mix of mildew, stale air, and something I’d rather not identify. Clearly, cleanliness is not a priority here.
I left feeling worse than when I arrived. Do yourself a favor: spend your money elsewhere and avoid this place like the plague. One night was too many.
