The hotel is in a very good location, yet the quality of the hotel itself is to improve.
The bedroom was really small, but had a TV and a hairdryer (which had a very doubtful quality). We were on a school trip and shared my room with two other people. In consequence, the hotel kept their two usual beds, who smelled and had holes in them, and added a mini-bed that had a squeaky mattress and only one cushion, while the other had two.
In the bathroom, we had three clean towels but the shower was really tiny and the hairdryer had the power of a snail going as slow as possible.
We didn’t see the service, so I do not have anything to compliment nor complain.
Yet, the hotel has a very great location and was close to a lot of museums and other touristy places.
Personally, I arrived in a bus, and I would have preferred to sleep in it than in this hotel.

Close to metro station but not to all the attractions. It has a bakery sbd cafe and convenience stores close by. The lifts are tiny and slow but breakfast was OK for the price and they have free luggage storage for guests and water in the lobby area.

The room was pretty good for the price, service was great, and the rooftop bar restaurant had really good food and acropolis views but it was about 3 blocks from a street blocked by police for drug users so pretty sketchy

The Crystal Hotel is located in the very center of Athens, around the corner from the metro station, in fifteen minutes you will be at the foot of the Acropolis. The room has everything you need, including a safe. Breakfasts are full with hot dishes - sausages, omelette, boiled eggs. However, the area itself, although the center, makes a depressing impression from the abundance of illegal immigrants. Therefore, from 9 pm it is better not to move on foot. There are a lot of police on motorcycles, they stop and search almost everyone who is not Greek in appearance. We got there like this - a long document check, with a check on the computer, a hand check for traces of drugs, etc. But we only went to the store, since Russians always run a second time.

The walls are paper thin! You can hear everything going on in the rooms next to you, across the hall, above and below you. The traffic noise is also very loud. The room is unbearably hot, and there is no air only heat. it’s very close to everything, and the bread factory next door is amazing. But if you need to actually sleep at night you would have better luck on the sidewalk, it’s probably quieter!

We found the hotel was extremely good value. The room was basic, but had everything you need. Cleaning was done to a high standard and the bed was comfortable. We stayed in room 606 and had a partial Acropolis view. You could hear Street noise despite the double glazing, but not to an extent that kept us awake. The breakfast had a good selection of cooked and continental options. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is a good 20 min walk to old town and some of the attractions. All in all a good budget option to explore Athens.

I highly don’t recommend this hotel!
1. Our room was dirty when we came (hairs in the bathroom).
2. They didn’t have blankets, so we had to ask from reception.
3. Very slow wifi, it was impossible to use. And if you have data forget about it as well.
4. And on top of that we had bedbugs in our room. I had 8 bites just from sleeping one night there. Please, check your room for bedbugs before you’ll stay there (which I don’t recommend).
After I told to receptionist that we have bed bugs in our room he wanted to convince me that it’s not a bedbug, but I had a photo and bites. After a long discussion with receptionist they sent us to different hotel which was better, but we were super stressed for the whole trip because of the bites and from the possibility that we might have them in our luggage. We had to spend 200€ to disinfect our clothes after that trip to not get it to our house.
If I would know that we would have to go through that I would never stay there…

It's a very unique low-cost Hotel perfect for a very cheap night in Athens Greece around 50 bucks a night very cheap and it's a good hotel for that price whatever you get that's what you pay for the rooms are decent every room comes almost every room comes with a ball can you so that is good with stunning beautiful views from the sundown and the mountains around Athens Greece decent bathroom shower TV small bar refrigerator plugs by the beds comfortable beds you know decent it's in the center it's literally 5 minutes from do you know these small streets the real vibes from Athens Greece and the nice lobby to chill out what's a good massage you're over there that was the job for you instead of a real massage
