The hotel manager approached us several times to ask us how our stay is going and if there is anything else we need.
The room was very clean and neat.
The complimentary breakfast was so good, pancakes, fruit, eggs, sausage, honey, granola, etc. We easily saved 40€ each morning.
On our last day, hotel staff watched our luggage after check-out while we toured around the city.
It’s in a great location as well. 2 minute walk to great restaurants. 7 minute walk to the Acropolis.
We had the best experience with AP! Will definitely be staying there the next time we’re in Athens.
The elevator is tiny. Don't use if you're claustrophobic. Lol. Definitely had character.
Very well located, but you have to be willing to put up with the noise until very late (I made a conscious choice). You can do almost everything on foot from the apartment. It's very well laid out, well equipped, and its terrace with a view of the Acropolis is a plus. The only downside, but not the least, is a plumbing problem (and perhaps also a communication problem)... the smell in the shower room is horrible. And if you have the misfortune to turn off the ventilation system (day or night), the smell in the apartment (even with the window open) becomes unbearable! There's a problem with the riser and the odor throughout the entire building... but you just have to let us know! First day without hot water
Breakfast is served either on the rooftop or directly to your room and includes a delightful basket with sandwiches, fruit, coffee, yogurt, and cake, along with plated omelets and pancakes brought to the table. It was truly a great way to start the day.
The hotel also has a spa in the basement. Although we didn’t expect an additional charge (it’s a one-time fee of 15 euros per person for the entire stay), we ended up really enjoying it.
The highlight of our stay was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, especially the hotel manager. Due to an unexpected airport strike in Athens, we had to stay an extra night, and the team went above and beyond to assist us – we couldn’t have asked for more.
If we had to mention one thing for improvement, it would be the third room where our son slept. Since we're a family of five, he had to sleep in what is usually a small sitting room, and the sofa bed there wasn’t as comfortable as the two main bedrooms. The bed creaked with every movement, and the room couldn’t be properly darkened in the morning.
We highly recommend this hotel!
One suggestion: please provide some more basic cleaning supplies - dish soap, spray cleaner, dish towel, etc.
