Hotel Thissio

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved the food, and the service was top-notch. Great views of the Acropolis and a perfect neighborhood. Super close to the metro and walkable to nearly everything. Honestly, we can't recommend this place enough.

The check in at Hotel Thissio was great, early as needed, staff are very friendly smiley and helpful even if language might be a barrier for some, the service is good (4 pts) !

Location and views are amazing and worth it (5pts) !

Room Hermes Room 2nd floor
space is limited, however has good distribution for you to stow away your bags/belongings. The bathroom of Hermes room is a bit small to be used for 2 people at the same time. Room amenities are good for basic needs. The AC is great, the bedsheets are bit thin for the cold. (4pts) !

The Hotel View from the rooftop, and bar/restaurant staff is superb ! (5pts).

The breakfast service is not so good, due to opening/start timing, which is after 8AM. Making it not convenient if you have early bird plans. Meal options are big enough fresh, descent and tasty(3.5 PTS)

For checking out process is fast and simple, just drop off the key at the reception.

We were met by the sweetest host and right away she offered us fresh lemonade in the burning heat of August.

Its location is close to every sight in the city center.
And you’ve got Akropolis just out the window.

And the breakfast is undescribable, fresh and newly cooked.
We Will surely be back.

Great spot for a hotel, near pretty much everything a tourist might want to see and do. Staff was very friendly and helped us with some issues in the room. The view of the acropolis from our room was incredible. The restaurant on the top floor shares the same view, and is decent.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Thissio. The staff immediately made us feel like they we were family. Special thanks to Terry for the wonderful communication and help with arranging our transport from the airport and to our cruise port. His service is truly unmatched. The rooms were comfortable and the views were incredible. After touring around Athens for 4 days we all agreed the location was unbeatable. I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Thissio.

Pleasant Stay
Service was excellent. A very charming hotel and friendly staff. Beautiful view of the Acropolis from the balcony. In a nice area that isn't as touristy.

Absolutely amazing. The balcony overlooks the acropolis and it’s absolutely magical. Literally all the shops are right there. My grandpa solo traveled and he loved it. Very easy for him at 84 to walk around and eat and enjoy himself with shops.

The hotel was very cozy, but the staff made the stay an incredible one. Every staff person we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast was delicious and the cafe makes wonderful coffees and cocktails. The location is perfect for walking and exploring the area. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Athens.

Great and helpful staff, very accommodating! Hotel and rooftop restaurant had beautiful views of the Acropolis. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the included breakfast was really good! The rooms were nice, neat and clean. There was noise around the area and can be heard inside the room, but it was tolerable and you are located in a very touristy area. Overall, extremely pleased.

The truth
We had an excellent hotel. The location was unbelievable just below the acropolis
It was an unbelievable location, actually with a big walkway that could go either way down to the city
The breakfast wer made for u and they wer fantastic
Especially their scrambled eggs with tomato & feta cheese
