Acropolis Hill Hotel

Had a great stay here, good location (although be prepared to walk up a hill which tbf is normal in Athens). The view from the balcony was beautiful!

I just loved my stay at the Acropolis Hill hotel. Whether this is your first visit or you’re an Athens expert, you will find that the location here is just perfect: close to the Acropolis and far from the noise and chaos of city center.
The Koukaki neighborhood is a mostly residential area with a few cozy cafes and bars, but also one of the most beautiful laiki (local fresh markets) in Athens, don’t miss it.

The rooms are very clean (super point), mine came with a balcony with view to the pool (not impressive, but I didn’t care)

Something I would recommend the restaurant to improve is the quality (not the quantity) of the breakfast, Greek food is worldwide known for its flavors and diversity, and I didn’t feel it here.

Took me a while to find this hotel while looking for one with a pool.
Location is top marks very close to all the sites Plaka, Acropolis, hop on busses, etc.
The hotel made an effort to give us a room with a view of the Acropolis which made our stay brilliant.
Breakfast is minimal but good.
Pool is small but ok.
Rooms are small and be careful with doors, open outwards and I pulled a toenail off.
Roof terrace is amazing the view is superb.
All in all will return. Thank you.

The price is not high, the hygiene is OK

Just for the location alone it’s easily 5 stars. I visited for my 30th birthday last November, the room was lovely & big considering it seemed it would be small from the outside. Staff were lovely (gave the guy on the front desk the rest of my cat biscuits for his kitty when leaving & he showed me photos of it). Super easy to walk to all the main sights even for a pair of fatties like my mum & I

The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Room was nice, the pool is a nice small pool to get into on the hot days and we really enjoyed sitting outside on the outdoor patio with a glass or two of wine. Reasonably priced and good walking distance to the acropolis, restaurants and other points of interest.

Overall, this hotel is excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

From the friendliness and helpfulness of the people on the front desk, to the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities, to the pool, to the food in the restaurant - all great.

The view on the terrace is outstanding during sunrise and it's a nice place to be in the evening too. Unfortunately our room was directly below that terrace and the noise of people scraping their chairs and tables back and forth at 10:30pm wasn't the greatest.

The room was compact but effective. The glass bathroom door, however, is transparent at night with a light on so a bit awkward!

The only downside was how I was spoken to by one of the cleaners. We had (wrongly) assumed that rooms would be cleaned unless the 'DND' sign was put out. That's how every other hotel i've ever stayed in works. I was angrily and aggressively corrected by a cleaner, who brandished the sign stating "this is for you, this is for you" over and over. Given i was having an excellent day i decided not to make more of the interaction but her attitude was completely wrong.

We booked two nights at this hotel before a cruise. The location is perfect! Walking distance to everything we need, very close to the Acropolis and we felt safe walking around as well. Everyone here is super friendly, the rooms were comfortable and clean and the view is AMAZING. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful with booking a cruise transfer as well as giving us a map with recommendations on where to go for supplies, sights to see and bus routes. We definitely will be back for future trips!

A very fine hotel with a beautiful view to the mountains and the Acropolis.
The rooms are well designed although very small (most of Athens hotels are).
The hotel is very modern and designed and even has a nice pool although during our stay the water was too cold to get in.

Breakfast had relatively a wide range of options and most of it was fresh and good.

The staff is kind and helpful.

My only complaint was the terrains in the location- wasn’t a good choice for a family of 4 with small children (3y, 4m) since we literally had to walk down the hill every day during our stay (up we even didn’t try- had to call in a cab)
