Spent ages thinking about booking this trip. Honestly, just do it! The location is quiet and peaceful so ideal for those looking to get away from busy lifestyle. MY experience of the staff was great

The in-house taxi service is impeccable and certainly worth taking up on. The location of the hotel allows for quick car commutes to areas should you wish to move around the island

They were always available to render help to us however the location is very far from town and taxi fare can cost around 40 euros so be prepared to spend much on transportation

All helpful, especially the AM and PM reception team - welcome to support with enquiries on the island and for any questions on your stay in general

Honestly, if you want sunshine, reset and relax, the location is all you need. Lots of sun hours, amazing pool which is ideal cold. I don't usually desire to rebook a location, but if I were to, it would be here

We had a great experience, courtesy and attention, great food (there is a executive chef that prepare excellent dinners and breakfast) and always present personal complete the excellent service level

Love the staff, they're all so friendly!! The location is convenient, 5 min walk to the bus station and around 20 min walk to Fira. The apartment itself is nice and quiet at night. Really enjoy the stay here!!

Absolutely charming resort with an unbelievable view of the entire island. We reserved a room that had both an outdoor balcony and a rooftop you can access for panoramic view of the entire island

Consider taking a taxi back instead of bus to avoid walking up the hill. The in room breakfast was very plentiful and fresh and such an added feature to enjoy your view. Would definitely stay here again

Lovely Stay at Abelonas Retreat Golden East moved my booking here, and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, and I could see both the sunrise and sunset – absolutely beautiful views

We stayed in the room with the loft. The front desk guy was very informative about the area. It is the perfect place as home base while exploring. The bus stop close by is a hard walk

The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was really good. Even though the weather wasn’t great during my stay, the overall experience at Abelonas Retreat was very nice

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From arrival you are completely taken care of and feel instantly relaxed. This includes from the rooms, reception and pool

There are a few lovely restaurants close by and the main town is a 30-40 minute walk away. The breakfasts to the rooms is so convenient and you can have that delivered as late as 11. The quality of all the food is high

Landed in this hotel by total accident, it was a wonderful week spent at Absolute Bliss. The view was stunning, the staff were beyond sweet and helpful. The hotel does feel like a perfect fit for couples

I had tried to pick out bits and pieces where I can point out to be imperfections, and after some thoughts, I do think you have to be pretty demanding to feel dissatisfied staying at this hotel

If you are travelling with a different setting then maybe it doesn't work as well

Had a lovely time here in 2019. Love this hotel (my new favourite on this island). Love the idea of breakfast served on your balcony next to your jacuzzi. It’s very peaceful here and loved every minute of our stay

They would deliver it to our room overlooking the caldera, knock on the door and then leave. It was private and perfect for our honeymoon. Sunsets are right in front of the suits

The team here went above and beyond. From helping us get a cheap ride into town, to carrying our bags, making recommendations, and just feeling like honored guests. The breakfast was the favorite part of our stay

Near to Fira, clean and kindness of staff

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. Even though the hotel is beautiful, clean and priced attractively, I only gave it a 4 star rating because it did not meet my expectations in a few areas

There are not too many restaurants in the area, but there is a very nice bakery/deli right next door. This hotel, sorry to say, was not one of our favorites

The bed was not very comfortable, it was fairly hard. The breakfast, which was included, consisted of only bread, hard boiled eggs and one cereal choice

They even have a swimming pool in the hotel. If you are on budget, this is the place for you. The room has free wifi, fridge, tv, airconditoner. They also have complimentary breakfast, but didn't get the chance to try it

Loved it!!!! The owner manages the hotel. I was picked up from the airport. As soon as I arrived in the hotel, she gave me a map and told me everything I need to do and visit. I kept my balcony doors open at night

If I ever come back to Santorini again, I will DEFINITELY stay at this place. Had a very heart warming experience

Our room was well appointed and the views were incredible, but the most memorable thing was the service. We felt warmly welcomed with Santorini wine and a map with recommendations for what to visit

The pool isn't heated and was a bit too cold to use in mid-May, but we enjoyed sunbathing on the chaise loungers by the pool

A really nice collection of rooms around a small pool overlooking the caldera, set into the cliff-side. Absolutely fabulous views over to Oia and out to sea

Up on the cliffs looking out into the sea and to Oia. The views are unreal and first thing in the morning are second to none. Service is fantastic by the whole team from Jenny to the cleaning team - fabulous

We originally booked Gorgona Villas, but upon arrival, the porter led us down many winding steps to Regina Mare, a sister property which they transferred us to due to availability

Lovely breakfast delivered to your room daily as stated by others - lovely! No restaurant on site which doesn’t matter at all as there are restaurant close by for a meal later

Would recommend booking rooms that are not on the pool floor level , it can get noisy especially at night, needed ear plugs

Wonderful experience, best hotel I've stayed in. Allowed me to check in early because of ferry issues, they were very accommodating and even prepared a breakfast box because I had to leave early

Bedding was changed daily as were the towels and pool towels, daily cleaning also. Overall we had the best time! We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to go back soon

This hotel is super awesome with the service as well as the facilities. I have stayed here for 2 nights and should have stay more days. The swimming pool is so chill and everything is perfect.

Hotel restaurant Ammilos , part of the hotel, was beautiful, the food and service once again were excellent and the views, breathtaking! Rooms, we booked the honeymoon suit with caldera view and a private hot tub, we were blown away, we had room 18, it was very private and as it was the lowest floor nobody walked passed the room

First impressions, WOW! Stunning location, amazing views! Staff here are amazing! Very friendly and always happy to help! Breakfast is served to you balcony/terrace every morning, with a choice of omelettes, I chose the Greek one it was amazing, Hubbie had the ham and it was excellent

Very well located, within walking distance the city center, I recommend Pension Georges with non hesitation, great pool and warm welcome. Stavi and Dimitris are the sweetest hosts, their suggestions were precious

The people are absolutely marvellous. You get a service to port or airport there. You can reach the airport by bus without any problem as well

Everything was amazing! There are not enough stars to rate Pension George. The place is absolutely gorgeous, the clear swimming pool and palm trees in the center patio transmit a very calm vibe

The rooms are clean, towels and soap are provided, and there is good wifi signal. There is also space to hang your clothes, and the view from the balcony is beautiful

They have done some renovations during covid which gave improved things. Rooms are nicely updated with comfy beds. Staff are awesome and the pool area Is great

No TV and WiFi signal is too weak to use but who spends much time in their room in Santorini? The pool looked fabulous but didn't get a chance to try it

The swimming pool is large, beautiful and sufficient for the guests who occupy the hotel

The only drawback is that the sound insulation inside the hotel is slightly insufficient, but fortunately the guests around are of high quality and have never made any noise, so the overall stay experience is still very pleasant

breakfast is €10 each for a standard continental selection which was good for us. We didn't use the pool as we crammed lots into our stay but the area always looked clean and tidy when we walked past

Communication through the Airbnb app before check in and during the stay was amazing. Definitely recommend booking your transfer with them as the port was complete chaos

it is well located in the town of Karterados near cafe's and restaurants and shops, it is at the bottom of a steep hill which was fine for us but others may struggle

the room was huge with a big comfy bed, full bathroom, sofa and kitchenette. we were given a map upon check in with loads of helpful recommendations and tips

Located very high up in Imerovigli, the views of Oia and the rest of the island are breathtaking, and one of the best places to see the sunset.

This place is AMAZING!!! Pure heaven on earth. Everything looks just like the pictures. We had room #9 right by the pool with a view of everything. Eddy was so accommodating from the time we arrived

A great little oasis away from the busy- ness of Fira! A 20 minute walk to Fira but we ended up asking the manager Stelios to book us a car rental. He was so informative and helpful to all of us. Would stay again!

As noted in other reviews, it's not in the middle of major tourist hubs though that has advantages. It's quiet and private and a nice break from the louder beach scene into the night

Stelios (the manager) is so good-natured and helpful and made several good restaurant recommendations. He made sure we were set up with taxis and took care of everything we needed

The pool area was right on the cliff path so even though it was really tranquil there were constantly people walking past you while you soaked up the sun

Next the service at the hotel is outstanding. They arranged our airport and ferry transfers and set up transports to the beach. Lastly the rooms are super nice and comfortable and breakfast is served in your room

as the limited English channels worked very sporadically) air conditioning and fresh fruit & a bottle of local wine on arrival, much appreciated

The room was equipped with everything we needed, from towels to disposable toothbrushes and shaving blades - and more. The bed was large with a very comfortable mattress

I highly recommend staying at Avaton. First the location is excellent, the hotel is right on the rim of the Caldera with the best views

We stayed at the hotel in August 2023. It was our honeymoon, and we were graciously upgraded to a suite. The suite was spacious and featured a balcony with an amazing view overlooking the sea and the islands' coast

The room is a bit far from the town of Fira, but it's quiet and the facilities are sufficient. The only thing about hygiene is a bit worrying. The sheets on the second floor were covered in dirt

The amenities are a bit old and the designs were not thoroughly thought-through (eg the placement of the bed made people easy to trip and the lights of the bed were placed too low that hit our heads

The perfect hotel for relaxing and having a nice time while also being close to most things in Santorini. The service was top-notch, the staff makes sure you are always taken care of

In the evening we walked (short walk) to watch the sunset and grab dinner, which was perfect! They organized a sailing trip for us too which was great

We bought a floaty for our private pool so we could float around the pool sipping drinks, highly recommend! We split our trip between two hotels in Santorini, but if we would have known how well we would be taken care of here we would probably stayed here throughout

Fabulous accommodation, comfortable bed with a choice of pillows. Fantastic hot tub in garden as well as roof terrace spa pool. Panos could not do enough for us and easy to contact him

The coolest hotel I ever stayed in. We had the honeymoon cavalieri suite and it was unbelievable. We had our own heated infinity pool that overlooked the caldera and the views were spectacular

The pool area is very nice and the sunbeds so comfortable! The best thing about the Hotel is Markela, our host, she is lovely and always available to help

Each apartment feels spacious and has an outdoor area for sitting. We liked having lazy days by the pool and were able to hire a car for a couple of days from Sunset rental down the road

We found all the necessities in the room and in the the bathroom ( water in the fridge, shampoo, soap, conditionner, towels, hairdryer and fourniture for the kitchen)

In the kitchen there is a boiller and a coffee machine very useful for the breakfast. The Breakfast is not served by the hotel, but it is possible to order by phone a delivery service very nice and quick

She helped us with the reservation of some activities, to found a quad, restaurants and many other things. Really thank you Markela for everything, it was a real pleasure to stay at Meli Meli!

Our room was kitted out as we expected with a nice coffee/espresso machine (which was above a lot of hotel standard ones). Room had great AC when you need a break from the heat
