Ermioni Hotel

Very lovely place. The staff were all friendly, funny and nice. Short walking distance to the stores and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was also very good. Greetings to bartender, much love from Finland. - Mr&Ms Finland

Nice family hotel for relax. Clean. Nice territory, close to the sea and little village. Breakfast was good - every morning something different. I will come back for sure.

I totally recommend this hotel! Very kind and friendly staff, delicious and fresh breakfast. Room very clean and tidy. Also beds are soooo comfortable. It’s 10 mins by walk far to nearest shop, but I dont find it as problem. Bus stop is right next to hotel.

A small, beautiful family run hotel that has everything you need and excellent service. The owners Pavlos & Elena and their staff always greeted you with a warm smile, were very welcoming, polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A top floor Room with TV, aircon, a safe plus comfortable beds, and a daily immaculate clean by Linda. It had the most amazing views from the balcony of the sea, mountains, stunning sunsets and on certain days even sheep grazing in the surrounding countryside which was a lovely surprise. The buffet breakfasts and dinners at the hotel provided lots of choice. Maria freshly prepared the most delicious local dishes, which you could not find in the nearby restaurants. Maria in Reception was onsite to give a helpful hand [two lovely Maria's 😊]

The pool is a good size… not too deep so perfect for families with children too. It was a restful haven for me as it was very quiet in early June, and sometimes I had the pool all to myself! The pebbly beach is only a 5 min walk and is manned with a lifeguard. It felt very private, was a bit rugged with unspoilt surroundings and beautiful panoramic views. There are sandy beaches a few metres away and the sea was clear and warm ... you could walk in up to about 200m safely.

There is a road nearby, but the traffic goes unnoticed because of the hotel’s calm environment. A bonus to the road is that the buses stop outside the hotel, taking you to Rethymno, Georgioupolis and Chania for only 2.50 – 5 euros. Kavros is a 10min walk along a dusty road with several bars, restaurants, supermarkets, gift shops and tour guides. A little train runs from here every hour to pretty Lake Kournas.

There were a few guests staying who returned each year, all very gracious and sometimes joining for drinks at the pool bar with a warm and cheerful welcome from Dragan the barman. Pavlos, the owner even generously invited the guests to a small gathering to celebrate his birthday providing the largest Pizza’s I have ever seen!

I wanted tranquility and found it at the Ermioni Hotel, but an added bonus was the friendships made and the laughter we enjoyed! Fondest memories of this holiday in an unspoilt location of natural beauty, …a little sanctuary that I hope to have the pleasure of visiting again 🙏

Small, dilapidated family hotel at first glance, but where we lacked nothing. Basement room that we appreciated because of the shaded, cool terrace! Air conditioning included and at no extra cost! Fridge available in the room and safe. Very clean cleaning every day! Linen changed too! Frankly, when we arrived, we were skeptical because the hotel was old, but no regrets at the end of our stay. Friendly staff, not very talkative, but discreet and helpful. Tano, on the other hand, very kind, open and responds very well to all our requests. Very clean pool, no 6 a.m. opening hours, I swim! Homemade meals, nothing from Metro! Super generous and varied breakfasts: great! Negative point: the evening meal: 7 p.m./8 p.m. service is too early and too short, we eat too quickly. I also recommend the location! Beach 5 minutes away and between Heraklion and Chania, on the edge of the central axis! So for a quiet stay that is not too expensive without bling, go for it!

Everything was great. Small family hotel with friendly owners and staff. We stayed there for 5 nights and enjoyed peace and quiet. Clean rooms and spaces everywhere. I highly recommend it. Thank you. When we are back in Crete it will be our first choice again!
