I find most of the reviews unfair the location is central and that’s the main prp of this hotel, rooms and the bathroom were clean. helpful receptionist. good value for money

•Pros: Very polite and cheerful receptionists, fair prices. The bathroom in the room was clean and there was plenty of warm water to shower with. •Cons: The building was in poor condition with the paint peeling off the exterior. Although the payment was made by debit card we did not receive a POS receipt, which we asked for. Merely a handwritten one.

The place looks a bit worn down, but we had a nice big room for 4 adults at a good price. It has a central location with the city center a few minutes away on foot. Very friendly staff that made us feel welcome.

Very nice hotel in the city of Kalamata. It is very clean, and the owner is a kind and courteous person. The staff are extremely friendly and genuinely do everything they can to help you. Highly recommended.

Room was decent, clean, air conditioning. The only problem was the noise from the hallway. We stayed in room 5 and we could hear a lot of noise up until 2 am. In the morning, same problem. A lot of banging and thudding starting from 6 am.

Basic facilities but excellent location and friendly family-run hotel.

The hotel was super clean, the employees was very kind and the location is just perfect two steps from the square

room was very clean. The mattress could be a little bit better.. breakfast is OK too good not amazing. I stayed at the same hotel a few years ago and it was fantastic but the property itself is wonderful design easy access to the beach and the pool is fantastic.

room was very clean and they could upgrade the mattresses. The breakfast wasn’t as good as I remember it. I stayed a few years back and the quality has gone down, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

Exactly what we needed was some downtime and this property was perfect. Great value, beautiful pool, breakfast was fantastic with many options. Would definitely stay here again! Staff were super friendly.

We loved our stay at Horizon Blu! The view from our room was to die for and the breakfast buffet was wonderful every morning. The beach was a very short walk and had comfortable loungers with cute umbrellas. All of the wait staff was very attentive, polite and helpful. Thanks for making our stay in Kalamata a very memorable one!

Stayed for 4 nights using it as a base to visit Sparta, Mystra & other local historical sites. Very well located a 5 minute walk from the seafront, and a 20 minute fairly pleasant walk into the town centre, the room was spacious and clean with a balcony, there was plenty of available free parking in the side street next to the hotel. Love this hotel. They remembered us from 2023 Great room - spacious with a balcony. Yup it’s on a main road but the double glazing cuts that noise out Aircon fab Breakfast nice Pool was lovely. Really convenient for beach and restaurants and some great ice cream places.

Dimitri on front desk was helpful & friendly. The room-102- was immaculate, fantastic bed, pillows and 5 star bathroom. A very welcoming and secure place to stay in the heart of Kalamata & a 5 minute easy walk to the central bus station. Recommend for a night or two stay 👌

The apartment was sparkling clean, exactly as it looks in the pictures. It has everything you need for a short or long stay. On the basement there is a bakery that you can have breakfast and they even deliver coffee in the apartments. Of course you could prepare breakfast at the apartment since there were all the necessary equipment. Even a milk foam maker for your cappuccino!!!

The position is perfect. The staff are great, very helpful and a lovely bakery downstairs, perfect for your morning coffee and pastry on your balcony. 🙂
