Atlantica Belvedere Resort - Adults Only

Just had a fantastic spa time, the wife and I had a lovely massage and facial. It was very relaxing, Zoe and sorry I can't remember the name of the other girl, but they where both excellent, I would highly recommend it, the hotel is very quiet because it's the end of the season, so If you like peace and quiet and no rushing about this is the time of year to come, honestly I can't recommend it enough. So relaxing and care free.

We arrived at the hotel quite late, around 10pm I think. Check in was very pleasant, we were seated on comfy sofas, offered a wet towel and a drink. We were given a brown paper bag containing a sandwich, crisps, banana and carton of orange juice; although the sandwich was pretty dry and tasteless this was very well received! A lovely chap in a buggy took us and our luggage to our room. The room was lovely, very well equipped, clean and in great condition. Kettle, teas, coffees and milk etc. A nespresso machine, fridge, tv, telephone, hair dryer. Shower and also a bath with another shower above. Toiletries were very nice, full size Olivia Thinks which I confess to taking with me to give to my daughter Olivia! We had sliding doors out onto a terrace with sun loungers, chairs and a table which led to our swim up pool which was very much the highlight of our stay. My partner rarely goes into the pool but because we had our own little private area he did, everyday! Now this hotel is completely out of the way, which suits some but not others. You don't need to leave the resort of course, it is stunning, the grounds are so well cared for, genuinely a pleasure to stroll around. Many paths are cobbled which I can see would make it tricky for the less able to negotiate but we had no problem. There are views of the mountains and out to sea views of the volcanic islands which is just breath-taking. We were not all inclusive because we don't drink much alcohol, we were half board. Breakfast was fab, eggs everyway thinkable, fresh everything, the fresh bread was such a treat as was the abilty to squeeze my own OJ each morning. Dinner was good too, always lots of tasty things to choose from. One day we got a taxi to Kardamena the nearest town, it's lovely, quite touristy of course but we got to buy gifts and I got a lovely new handmade leather handbag. There is a bus from the hotel each morning at 9.30am, one to Kos town and one to Kardamena. We decided to get the bus to Kos town, estimated journey time was 50 mins but I suspect this didn't account for all the pick ups at various hotels first. We were first on the bus and all was well, 3.80 euro each one way. But the bus kept picking up more and more until the aisle was full of standing people. It was so full and when they stopped to pick up even more we made the choice to get off the bus. It was not a good feeling seeing so many people crammed onto a bus in the heat for 50 mins. We then walked the rest of the way to Kardamena for another visit and taxi back to hotel later. The beach is beautiful, always free sun loungers to pick from, the water was warmer in the sea than the pool, just perfect! We loved having our lunch in the beach restaurant/cafe area, views out to sea, shady and breezy too. There is a little shop which is pretty well stocked. Our flight home was 9.55pm and regular check out is 11am so we enquired about late check out, 90 euro for a 3pm check out and 140 euro for a 6pm check out. We felt that was way too much money so opted out. However on the last night/early morning we lost power in our room and my partner's cpap oxygen machine obviously stopped working. As an apology they offered us a 2pm check out which was appreciated. We went for a late lunch then chilled by the main pool, you can get half an hour in a room to shower/freshen up for free which we did 5pm to 5.30pm, taxi to airport picked us up at 6pm so it was a pleasant last day.

We booked this adults-only resort for 11 nights, having used TUI Blue before and were delighted we did so again as they make everything run smoothly. A great hotel, very good food and a very large pool with plenty of sunbeds; people were able to turn up after 10:30 or 11:00 and still have a reasonable choice of beds. The beach, to be fair, didn't look great although we already knew we weren't going to be using that very much so this was not an issue for us.
The bars were welcoming and the restaurants were never full - you could always find a table and we had great service throughout. Rooms were cleaned and mini-bars restocked as you would expect.
I would like to give a couple of shout-outs, firstly to Emmanuil at the lobby bar. He was so helpful and very funny and really helped make the holiday exceptional for us. Also, thank you to Arnak and his team in the restaurant for their great attention and service. Thank you guys, you really helped us enjoy our holiday to the utmost!
I'd also like to recommend the A La Carte restaurant. You can book that particular restaurant once pre trip and eat there for free if you are all-inclusive but if you pay a premium you can have a wider choice of meal. We went for a rib-eye steak each and were staggered by the size of them when they arrived. They were beautifully seasoned and cooked perfectly to our specifications. It really added a little something extra to an already superb holiday so it's worth paying the extra (note; it's definitely not over-priced in comparison to similar restaurants, but you do need to pay extra for the fantastic steaks and, eg, wine)
I'm not sure if it will ever happen but it would be great at some point down the line if TUI were to offer adult-only flights as well as accomodation - hopefully that will be the next step.
We will almost definitely use TUI Blue again next year and have no problems recommending them and this resort for a superb holiday.

Great hotel in a perfect location! The food is really, really nice and although you may have to wait a while to get served the staff are very friendly. The barmaid Athena in particular was excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very comfortable and they do well in lots of areas but it is not 5-Star. My wife and I were underwhelmed when we arrived as our room wasn’t ready and we were simply pointed towards to restaurant and told to come back in an hour. The fridge in the room only had 2 bottles of water which was disappointing as all other 5-Star all-inclusive hotels we have stayed in have a selection of soft drinks as well as some spirits and beers. Service at the snack bar is extremely slow and there is not a lot of choice on the menu. There were lots of beds around the pool which was a positive and the staff at the pool bar were very friendly but again the service was quite slow. Overall, we had a very relaxing time but there are much better 5-Star hotels to choose from so we probably won’t be going back.

Highly recommend. Excellent service, one of the best we have ever experienced. Everybody was very helpful, professional, and even caring when one of us had some health problems. (Special thanks to Pani Agnieszka, one of the servers in the restaurant!)
Location - miles of pristine beach to walk on. Long shallow entry into the water.
Very nice clean rooms. We have been in this hotel a few years ago when it was owned by someone else. It was nice, but the new management made this place 100% better.

This is a perfect place if you are looking for rest, beautiful beach, and excellent accommodations.

Wonderful place, great hotel with friendly staff and good service. Very tasty cuisine for every taste. The beach has comfortable sun loungers, sand and a smooth entry.
