Hotels with beach in Kolimbia

We opted for B&B option and the local restaurants were great (Ouzaki was best though). Plenty of sunbeds (no playing sunbed wars in the morning!!) and there’s so much choice with 2 pools and the beach

The hotel app let us know that sunbed service would stop and that we would collect our own drinks for the safety of the staff

We liked that the staff were a priority for the hotel and it was no bother for us to get our drinks! We’ve read some other reviews giving service a low rating saying rooms looked cheap and rooms weren’t cleaned

Whilst there’s not lots to do in the town itself, it’s in a great location for transport - we caught a boat to Symi island down at the port (9 minute walk) and a coach to Lindos (bus stop was an 8 minute walk)

Staff were kind, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. They wanted us to have the best experience ever, which we did. Massive choice for breakfast at the buffet and the staff there were glorious

They responded promptly and positively to a request I made in advance for an extra special treat for my daughter on arrival and they carried this out perfectly. I would highly recommend staying here

Top of the tree when it comes to First Choice Holiday Village hotels. Great accomodation, lovely staff, and only a short walk to the beach. The Deluxe area is quiet, well maintained and really very nice.

Hotel is very close to the beach and if you want, there is a bus stop next to the hotel, so you can easily reach most famous places

Great selection of food and was very tasty food in the Al a carte restaurants was a very high standard. All bar staff and waiting staff were fabulous as was all the staff that do the activities

Nicos is truly the best barkeeper you could ever hope to meet. Incredibly kind, effortlessly funny, and full of heart — he makes every visit unforgettable. His charm and warm personality light up the entire bar

The pool area and beach were both good it was the hotel and rooms that let it down

It’s not just the drinks he serves that are top-notch, it’s the genuine atmosphere he creates that keeps you coming back. He even let me step behind the bar and mix my own mojito!! :D

Reception told us if we could not find one we could pay 7euros each per day for one on the beach, which were very basic plastic ones

The waiter Nikos is really nice, he's smiling all the time and he makes great drinks. Thanks to him the stay is more pleasant.

I was in the hotel Leonardo kolymbia resort in june. This was the best Holiday of my life, the hotel Is amazing And the animation team do a great job. The watterpolo Is verry good web enjoy it.

The evening entertainment could have been better, there were a couple of evenings when they had singers on which were decent but the bingo nights/movie + music quiz etc we didn't think we're much good although with having a 4 year old the night time entertainment isn't a priority for us so wasn't really a an issue

The food was very good, always fresh and a good variety with at least 3 or 4 traditional Greek dishes and then various other Mediterranean/European options in the main restaurant, a la carte restaurant also very good with a totally different menu to the main restaurant

Food also well labeled for vegetarian/vegans as well as allergies which was appreciated by my vegetarian wife. Pool was a good size and always had sun loungers available + good splash pool for younger kids

Pool bar good and never had much of a que. The hotel was around 80% full the 1st few days we were there but never seemed crowded/too busy

Only area which I think would be a problem when it's full would be the bar area in the evening where the entertainment is on

The animation team were very good for the day time entertainment around the pool and the kids disco (especially Elsa)

Spectacular beach Grande Blue is just 2 minutes away by car. There are many options even for me as a vegetarian. The rooms are a bit older but they are always clean. The hotel beach is very nice and pretty

We visited this hotel 2nd time and our stay was amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially at the reception. The location is great, the best beaches on Rhodes are nearby

We booked a family suite with sea view and it was amazing. The people were very friendly and welcoming. 😙Very good breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet in a fine restaurant with an a amazing view of the ocean

It is suitable for both families with children and single couples. I would especially like to praise the receptionist named Alexia, she was very patient and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is very good and good variety. Views are fantastic from restaurant which leads onto a beautiful sandy beach covered with sunbeds

Right on the beach by the harbour. Delicious food and genuinely nice staff. We had courgette balls (honestly, try them!) and chicken souvlaki and chicken gyros, finished off with a Nutella and banana crepe!

Great hotel. The rooms are fresh, at least our room 61 was like that. Exit to the beach right from the hotel. Clean, cozy. I recommend.

I was a little worried as I’d seen previous reviews. However I was pleasantly impressed. We booked a sea view room and was given room 46 with a perfect view of the beach and bay

Perfect location for the town but not near enough to get any of the noise! Beach bar was good, beers for €2. And a good selection of lunch items

The hotel crew also manages the water park at the beach, but sunbeds are not inclusive, this would make the 100 Percent. I can really recommend this hotel, it is incredible

Communication is easy with good command of the staff. Only missing thing for me is, we should not have to paid the sunbed at the beach

We spent our days soaking up the sun by the sparkling pool and exploring the area with easy beach and boat access. When the sun went down, live music filled the air and added to the fun atmosphere

Loved it, cleanest resort I have been to, staff friendly without having to be and they are relaxed and happy even at the end of season. Water park on site was impressive which catered for all ages

Food has something for everyone. Fantastic selection and quality of drinks. Swim up rooms look great pools large. Would definitely recommend and would like to come back

For those booking rooms with direct access to private swimming pools, be aware that half of these pools are shaded for most of the day. While this could be refreshing in the summer, it might feel chilly at other times

The restaurants are interesting. I would rate the food at the main restaurant as average. While there were a few good dishes, the overall quality was decent but far from exceptional

The à la carte restaurants seem to be much better. I only tried the Greek one, which was fantastic. The snacks available at the snack restaurant had a good variety, though the quality was also just average

Me and my partner wanted a quiet relaxing get away and that's what we got and we loved it , the hotel does need updating I'm not going to lie , but the rooms was clean the food was constant and ok , Bobby the bar pool man is so lovely all ther staff are , and we had a late flight home but they let us use a spare room to shower in with clean towels , could do with a few more sunbeds ,and ice cream...

It is just a shame that the persons affected did not raise their concerns with the staff as where possible everything that could be done would have been to resolve their issues

Pools and pool areas are cleaned every morning and our room has been cleaned with fresh towels every day. The food is amazing with so much to choose from. The pool snack bar has also included more variation this year

However I do have some negatives about this hotel but you will find disadvantages anywhere you go! The wifi is hit and miss in most areas of the resort, the location is quite remote so buses and taxi's are needed to get about for days out

Finally the entertainment is very repetitive, the same music every night for the kids disco and when the entertainment starts at 10pm its very underwhelming

Plenty of sunbeds and no sunbed wars. I’m not sure how people can complain about the food to be honest. About a 20 min walk to the town and lots of lovely bars and restaurants if you want a change

It is very apparent that the management have taken on board the negative reviews around cleanliness and have really upped their game

Excellent staff throughout the hotel especially dmitri the bar manager great service always has time to say hello no matter how busy he is always has a smile on his face also the reception staff always ready to help will most definitely be coming back in the near future

The stay overall has been nothing short of amazing. Good facilities and good food. The team are all great and helpful but two standouts have to be Antonio and nikos

Looks lovely when you walk in reception. 4* rating, but it should have been 3*. Rooms were basic, and food was more or less the same every day. Pools were nice, and they had slides aswell

Beach and bus station in a walking distace, but don't expect bus lines are on time

Weather was great and enjoyed the sunbeds round the pool. Not very comfortable sunbeds, tho. Bit out in the sticks, bus ride to places. Gyros in snack bar most of the day to eat

Currently staying here, we arrived late night Tuesday and Mohammed who was looking after reception and the bar manager made sure we got drinks and some food even though they had just closed for the night

Entertainment, tennis courts, etc. Several pools, a bar right next to the pool. Nearby, a beautiful view of the bay. An ideal place for a trip around the island. Large free parking lot at the hotel

Thank you to Chrysa, Aris and Nicole at the Olive Bar. The drinks, food and service was exceptional! We had the village salad (Greek salad), seafood bali on Chrysa’s recommendation, grandmas chips and mastiha cocktails

It’s having staff like this that make you want to come back time and time again. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. I came here on a girls holiday and will definitely be returning

Chrysa and Aris are very professional and are fantastic at their job, always smiling and friendly and cannot do enough for you. They remembered our names and gave us a warm welcome everyday

We now have a new favourite wine, and the hummus at home will never be up to scratch again. My vegetarian partner regrets not eating the vegan gyros every day of our trip

A middle class hotel (***) located in Kolymbia close to the beach, cafes, restaurants, supermarket, bus stops and not least the beautiful Kolymbia bay from which there are boat trips

its about 15 euros for the loungers but there is toilets and shower adj ,there is a snack place on the beach. the hotel is very central to the centre of kolymbia

room was very clean and tidy and cleaned every day. staff on site are fantastic very welcoming. beach is five mins walk but pebbly

There are two swimming pools and children's paddling pools. The cleaning is top notch and the staff is addressed on a first name basis. Especially the head receptionist, Maria, is a real mood bomb and lovable

We can hand on heart say that we have made friends for life in these girls and that they were the most special part of our holiday! We really did love our stay this year (two weeks was not long enough) and can really tell that all the staff and the owner took feedback on board and worked hard to make the hotel as lovely as it is now

They are the most hardworking, kind and welcoming people ever and they will always make time to get to know guests and to make sure that everyone is happy and having a good time whilst also ensuring to keep everyone entertained whether it is the pool activities during the day, the entertainment for kids or the evening entertainment such as the movie quiz (I was very competitive)

Do not be put off by the reviews as you will never go hungry here!! Big shoutout to the barman Leo who was also very lovely and welcoming to all guests and always had a fantastic story to tell, we even went out for drinks with him one night and it was so nice to chat and get to know him! He also made us special cocktails that you can't normally get from the menu on our last day and they were so good...

They also arranged nights out with the guests to Faliraki or Rhodos and these were the best nights out I have ever been on! It's definitely a good way to get to know people and to just have a great time with these amazing people! They were that amazing that we have already booked to go back before the season ends in October just so we can see these girls again! The food is definitely something that...

The pool bar snacks (hot dogs and toasties) were amazing as usual as was the pizza which some days was even served multiple times a day as apposed to the once a day it was last year!! There was also the option to eat a la carte in the villas next door (we didnt do this but heard it was amazing!) Throughout our stay all inclusive cocktails and spirits were served from 12pm - 10:30pm whereas last year...

Serene atmosphere, clean room, delicious buffets and welcoming staff. We were able to pick up towels from the spa area to use at the pool and swap for fresh ones every 2 days

The hotel is within walking distance to Kolympia beach, and Kolympia rock (which is worth a climb)

Shout out to Thanassis for making us smile on the way to dinner every evening, also to Laura and Kiki because they made the breakfast experience at the Blue Bay restaurant very enjoyable, and to Elia for his hard work and warm character

There we hired a boat for the 4 of us for 4 hours they showed us how to drive it and it was so easy and had an amazing time would recommend. Suggest you download the hotels own app shows you everything you need to know

Stayed in the fabulous hotel with a couple of our friends for 1 week we stayed in a premium sea view room with balcony. Outstanding views and very clean and comfy room could not find any faults at all

30 each night sat outside on the terrace and saw the waiters replacing food trays that were running low so no issues The staff were amazing very friendly so helpful too many to name

The price for the set was 10Eur. The entrance to the sea was gradual and smooth. Water shoes were not necessary. There was the possibility of water sports on the beach

It is UNBELIEVABLE! Daytime chilling in the pool, or at night all lit up, it is paradise. The beach is right in front of you, be aware it is a very stoney beach though and not the easiest to get in and out of the sea

Stayed for a week with my girlfriend mid september 2021. Villa is right on the beach and is in a quiet area. However there is a small coffee/sandwich shop just outside the villa

Plus because it is a public beach, you will get people walking past the villa and understandably having a look. So not exactly private in that respect

Bars and restaurants are ten minute walk away, one thing we did find was that nowhere was open for breakfast, probably because many of the hotels in Kolymbia are all inclusive so not much call for breakfast i guess in town

We hired a bike for the day to get around and pick up shopping for the villa, but as i said you can walk to town. It's completely flat around there too, so if you have mobility issues, there's no hills to struggle with

2 double en suites on top floor, and then in basement there is another bathroom, lounge, and two bedroom with 2 double bunk beds in each. Now what you are really paying for is the outside area/pool/view etc
