Massive choice for breakfast at the buffet and the staff there were glorious. We opted for B&B option and the local restaurants were great (Ouzaki was best though).
Plenty of sunbeds (no playing sunbed wars in the morning!!) and there’s so much choice with 2 pools and the beach. The views of the coast are stunning.
We were here during a heatwave and the staff were very well looked after. The hotel app let us know that sunbed service would stop and that we would collect our own drinks for the safety of the staff. We liked that the staff were a priority for the hotel and it was no bother for us to get our drinks!
We’ve read some other reviews giving service a low rating saying rooms looked cheap and rooms weren’t cleaned. We LOVED our room and found it to be very comfortable (we had the most ‘basic’ room but it was still lovely). One day, our room wasn’t cleaned as we were in there during the cleaner’s visit. When we were ready for it to be cleaned, we called reception who sent someone right away.
Whilst there’s not lots to do in the town itself, it’s in a great location for transport - we caught a boat to Symi island down at the port (9 minute walk) and a coach to Lindos (bus stop was an 8 minute walk).
A wonderful holiday that we won’t forget. We’re already planning on coming back!
