I had the absolute misfortune of staying at this hotel, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The room was utterly disgusting. The moment we walked in, we were hit with a heavy stench of cigarette smoke that permeated everything—the pillows, the curtains, even the air conditioner. The AC, instead of providing relief, emitted an even worse odor that made the room unbearable.
We were forced to leave the balcony door open all night just to get some semblance of fresh air, which only led to a relentless battle with mosquitoes. We barely slept a wink as we tried to fend off the swarm of insects invading our room.
To make matters worse, the hotel personnel were completely unhelpful and dismissive of our concerns. I'm baffled as to how the cleaning staff could have missed such an overwhelming odor before our check-in. It was clear that there was a serious lack of care and attention to detail.
Every aspect of our stay was awful—from the disgusting state of the room to the unresponsive staff. We were left with no choice but to endure these conditions, despite the potential health risks.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Save yourself the stress and stay far away from this place!

Excuse me but mold in the bathroom and the whole smell of it in all the room, bed, pillows does not mean we have high class expectations.

The hotel has a really good location to visit the city or go for a walk at night. The only con was the noisy AC, but the receptionist who welcomed us was so nice and kind

We only stayed for a couple of nights so the room didn't need to be cleaned so not an issue like in other reviews.
Staff were friendly and helpful, there's a great little supermarket close by too, handy for little bits. it's quiet in the evenings (midweek anyway) ...
For the price i swear some reviews seem to think they are royalty on a budget...

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable, with working AC and a lovely little balcony. There was also a fridge in the room. Given the high prices generally in Kos, the room was good value. We didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food but there are lots of great bars and restaurants close by.

It is an old hotel that lacks some little things like shampoo and shower gel in shower but the staff is pretty nice and helpful. An old lady from my tour group had a problem with her room card and they helped immediately. Air conditioner was not working properly but since we only stayed for one night we didn't bother to do something. The location of the hotel is really good, close to the beaches and city center.

We stayed one night in May. The review is based on hotels within the price range. The value is excellent. The room was well maintained, looks like it was freshly painted. Everything was very clean, it had air conditioning and a balcony. There were extra blankets and a little fridge. Breakfast was included, there was tea, Expresso machine and test of buffet breakfast. Staff were attentive and friendly. Overall very recommended

Don't stay in this hotel. This is definitely the worst one I have ever been to.
1.You can't get an extra room key, even if you are 3 or 4 people in the same room.
2.The bathroom in the room is aufully tiny, you literally have to squeeze yourself between the door and the toilet in order to get in.
In the shower I bent over to pick up the soap and banged my back in the tap since its so tiny.
3. They hardly ever come to clean the room, we had to wait 3 days and ask for 3 times until they sent someone.
Please don't go to this hotel, it doesn't worth your money.

The hotel was nearly perfect. The review is based on the category and the prices of the hotel. We stayed at a deluxe room for 7 days with breakfast.
Cleaning 10/10
We were informed that the cleaning is made upon request to the reception. The room was shining when we entered. We asked 1 time to clean the room and 3 times to change towels, and the sweet lady that took our requests, cleaned it all of the 3 times which was heartwarming.
Room 9.5/10
Bed and matress was so comfortable. The whole room had the feeling of a 3 or 4 star hotel, not 2. Nice shiny bathroom and hot water always. Only 1-2 furniture are a bit old style but it does not matter at all.
Building 9/10
The building is a little bit old (like most buildings around that area). But it has nice decorations and good quality of furniture.
The porch is AMAZING. We spent our one "low bugdet" night there. Buying beers from the shop across the street, and did not regret it at all.
Breakfast 9/10
6e/person, no limit in quantity was very good deal. Economically it probably saved us a lot of money by skipping some other meals. But after 7 days it became a bit boring. One small suggestion here, you could change some food daily like a different fruit on different days, or different kind of hams/salami per day.

A big thank you to all of the people of the receptiont. All of them were friendly and created a really cozy feeling during our stay, but most importantly helped us a lot with our planning of what to do on the island, suggesting places to go, and eat, and protecting us from touristic money drain worthless activities. Without them it wouldnt be the same experience.

Literally a street away from the middle of the city. With closeby sea and good food. Also on the next steeet there is a super market.
Generally i think it was the best value for money stay thay we could do on our budget and i m super satisfied from the whole experience . Thank you guys!

Great location, moderate breakfast menu, old building, older furnitures, tiny rooms, tinier balconies, poorly designed bathroom areas, uncomfortable beds. The rooms are so small . Even though we had only one luggage with us, we couldn’t find a spot to open our suitcase comfortably in the room.) Old style bedsteads are very uncomfortable and squeaky. If you have the image of comfortable beds, spacious rooms, well designed bathrooms, functional balconies to dry wet swimsuits,and soft hotel towels in your mind Paradise is not your Hotel.

A lovely hotel managed by a nice family. The staff are so friendly and super helpful. The rooms are so clean and neat and the hotel is located close by the center which means you’re basically close to the shops and bars and also to the beach and you can reach all these places easily by walk. The place is also surrounded by plenty of local taverns and restaurants where you can eat amazing traditional greek food. And they are just at the same street of the hotel. You have a Supermarket just beside the hotel. All the rooms have balconies and you can sit there in the evening to enjoy the sunset and fresh air. The breakfast is also good, it’s decent and fresh with a cheap price added to your room but definitely worths it because you’ll spend much more money if you want to have the same breakfast anywhere else on the island. The rooms are provided by air conditioning and a tiny but clean bathroom in the room. Huge wardrobes though which could be more than enough! Although it’s located at one of the streets at one of the main squares (dolphin square), but you’ll never be disturbed by the noise outside, maybe because of the thick walls and window! I spent almost two weeks in this hotel and it was a pleasant stay there. A great experience. The price is so reasonable compared to the other hotels on the island and based on its location and service. I highly recommend Paradise hotel! As I felt comfortable I would give it a 5 star rate! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍🏻 😊
