Small family hotel, designed in traditional Cretan style and located in the heart of the village of Malia in Crete. It offers simply decorated, but comfortable rooms. It offers a large outdoor pool with a sun terrace. The pool bar serves snacks and drinks. In walking distance there are several bars, tavernas and shops. Location close to the bustling night life, but at the same time near the Old town and other attractions makes the hotel a great place for a summer vacation.
Location: 600 metres from Malia beach in Crete, 32 km from Heraklion airport.
Consists of one 3-storey building.
The hotel has 106 rooms.

- Beach: public sandy beach in 600 m from the hotel (3 coastline). Between the hotel and the beach road runs. Sun beds, umbrellas - for a fee. The beach is 1 km away.

Great Hotel and staff, all of which are friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very clean, as indeed was the rest of the hotel, with fresh towels and bedding every two days. Had air conditioning, a shower which always had hot water and the most comfortable mattresses.
Very fast wifi with excellent coverage.
Superb location, close to the old town, shops and taverns, bus stops and not far from the beach.
The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty. The pool has a bar and a good selection of foods and drinks.
The main bar had a good selection and is open in the evenings, and outside a seating area which is great place to relax.
Will stay again next year.

Budget friendly and helpful people but...
The bed was horrible and if you have the chance go to another place and take care of your back. It is still a spring-mattress.
The breakfast buffet was eatable however the hygiene of the coffe-machine and the overall taste and variety of the breakfast leave to much improval potential.
The rooms are cleaned regularly however the ventilation is so bad, that you can smell when your neighbor was smoking or whatever even with doors and windows closed.

Very friendly staff, very clean! The room furnishings and bathrooms are not new, but everything is in good shape. The breakfast is OK. The pool area with bar is absolutely up to date. I think price-performance ratio is outstanding!

I absolutely loved my stay at Malia Holidays hotel. The staff are so kind and welcoming! The food was great for the price we paid, and rooms were good too! The pool was gorgeous and very spacious, and the pool bar staff (George) was amazing! He made our holiday so fun and enjoyable! I would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous Hotel staff are very helpful and kind a very relaxing hotel, , George at the Swimming pool bar was a very kind, caring, hard-working boy, do anything to help?, what made our days at the pool? As a frequent visitor to Malia, I have stayed at other hotels which were nice but I prefer Malia Holidays Hotel due to the location, bar, swimming pool and staff.
The rooms are clean, the pool and bar is nice, the lounge bar is nice and can sit outside and watch the world go by. Old Malia town is across the road and so are the restaurants, whilst the ‘strip’ is a few minutes in the other direction- the rooms are quiet at night.
Easy access to the bus stop to Heraklion and Ag Nik. A supermarket is across the road and Kaza bar is next door which sell good drinks, food and show sports on many screens.
If guests want a five star hotel then they should pay for a five star hotel, I find Hotel Malia Holidays great value for money…

Nice hotel in the center to Malia so you have everything around you!!! Traditional hotel with nice rooms and pool area!!! Great staff !!!

The hotel is OK for a short stay. The rooms are a bit dated. There are very few options when it comes to breakfast and dinner, which was not the best but acceptable if you just want a quick bite to eat. The location is good, you can't hear the music from the strip so you are able to sleep in peace.
The swimming pool was nice, if a little deep. 1.1m to 3m depth. The opening times are unusual, 10am to just 6pm, and these times are strict.

Hotel is pretty decent and clean. Staff is friendly. Location is next to main party streets which can be an up or down depending on what you're looking for. A lot of shops and restaurants all around. Some things were bit annoying about the hotel though like pool opening times could be longer (and written the same everywhere), not allowing own foods at the pool for no other reason than they could make more profit. Also they should write that AC doesn't work with window open, was confusing.
