Meltemi Village Hotel

Wow what a hotel loved it here and will be back stayed bed & breakfast Room cleaned daily ,towels changed daily ,breakfast great , all staff great That is one hotel I didn’t want to leave Only thing missing was an airer on the balcony to hang the towels on instead of over the balcony wall

Six of us had three rooms here in early October. This review is a consensus of us all. Excellent booking in for 40+ people off a coach from the airport. All the staff were very friendly, hard working & efficient. Great location. On the main road through Perissa & just a 10 minute stroll down to the (parallel) beach road. [All buses go to Fira (20mins, €2:50) & from there to Oia (pronouncedapparently), Akroteri etc. Buy your ticket on the bus. Chaotic system at Fira bus station. Expect unfriendly staff & don’t expect any help]. Little supermarket for essentials 2 minute walk from the hotel. Very clean. Great daily room service; towels changed daily (even if not required ). Nice pool area with the highest point of the island as a backdrop. Pool bar serving food until 3pm & drinks until 6pm. There’s a cocktail bar attached to the hotel. Excelsior suites have separate area with (small) pool. Perfectly adequate breakfast buffet. Rooms variable in size. One room in #70s block quite a bit larger than rooms #30s in main building; but these more recently upgraded. Comfy bed. Leaky shower. In summary, for the money this is a great hotel for enjoying a relaxing holiday & for exploring the island.

Wonderful small hotel with beautiful and peacefull well-kept grounds. The pool area with its palms and flowers is a haven for relaxing days. However, there is usual early morning clamour for sunbeds. Our Junior Suite with terrace and whirlpool was spacious. A big thankyou to Andrei and team for providing a lovely buffet breakfast choice, and gorgeous lunches and drinks. Great location for the beach and a wide selection of restaurants and bars.

AWESOME!!! My husband and I stayed at this hotel 2 weeks ago for a week. Customer service is really amazing, they help you out any way they can, whatever information you need, they will have it for you. Staff overall is so kind and generous. We love the breakfast buffet. Rooms are so clean and neat. We love everything about it, can't wait to go back. This hotel experience made our vacation more amazing than we expected.

Meltemi village what a wonderful little piece of Greece. My daughter and I travelled to celebrate her belated 21st birthday. Our large room was typically Greek, with huge sunny roof top terrace. Everything was amazingly clean, with maid service everyday. The pool area was lovely, albeit still quite busy for September, so sunbeds could be an issue if not there early. Breakfast and the food at the pool bar were delicious and always served with a smile from Andre and Joanna. The whole reception team were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Roi, Paul and Maxim. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is a short walk from the beach where there are many restaurants and bars and a few lovely little gift shops. A gem of a hotel which I would return to in a heartbeat. About half an hour from the airport and Fira town but worth the travel.

A lovely family run hotel. The hotel grounds are beautiful and clean and maintained to a very high standard. Some of the rooms are more dated than others, but still pleasant enough. The pool was a great size, lots of sun beds and fresh pool towels were available as required in the reception. Breakfast was delicious and there was a wide range to choose from, it really catered for everyone. There was a lovely pool bar that serves food and drinks throughout the day, Andre was the star of the star of the show, a very welcoming friendly and generous member of the Meltemi team. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and only a short walk to the beach front. Would visit again in a heart beat!

The whole family loved this beautiful hotel. The pool was lovely and the pool bar staff were so accommodating. We ate here more than we planned due to the good food. Service and ambience. The rooms were beautiful. Our teenagers shared a twin room, and it was huge, with a massive private terrace! I have never seen such dedicated cleaners - it was spotless. It was also well located near bars, restaurants and the bus stop. I would love to return one day... here's hoping.

Excellent bedding, spotless cleanliness. Congratulations to all the staff, especially the pool bar manager and the lady at the reception desk who always have good recommendations to give. We had an excellent stay thanks to your smiles, your welcome and your professionalism. I will come back fore sure !

What an absolutely beautiful and friendly place to stay. I’d 100% book Meltemi village if we were to return to Perissa.
Depending on room, the one we had was on the side of the sunset. So unfortunately sitting on the balcony was rather uncomfortable due to the heat coming from the sun. But everything else was remarkable

We are so so happy we chose to stay at Meltemi village hotel. Our room is a junior suite with a whirlpool on our balcony. We have access to two main pools, the building itself is like a hotel straight out of mamma Mia, the pool bar is great for cocktails, drinks, ice cream and food. The reception and staff are lovely and very welcoming. In walking distance to the beach only 7 mins and has lots of bars and restaurants within a 1 minute walk. Would recommend for families, couples or solo travellers
