Overall the hotel is fine. The food is edible. Good location but not for people who don’t like ants. Ant infested by the pool. Even in the room on the floor I saw some ants too.

We are very happy, because we chose "Castellum suites". Our room was big and in good condition, the bathroom is very big and comfortable. Our terrace was with sea view. All the hotel is very clean (rooms, halls, lobby bar... every place), we saw the housekeepers several times in the day, especially in the restaurant area. The food was tasty, and had a lot of options (chicken, pork, beef, fish, vegetable salads, green salads, traditional dips, dolma, fruits, sauces, baklava, mini cakes, rice, potato, daily soup, daily pasta), for my taste the food was yummy. Now for the bar: you have good all inclusive options and good menu with world known brands (menu with reasonable prices). For the AI options: you have several alcohol and alcohol free cocktails (the alcohol cocktails were pre prepared), the ones I tried were good (but not great) especially the Piña colada. The draft beer was served in perfect cold glass and it was nice (I can't remember the brand). From the AI spirits I highly recommend the ouzo (traditional Greek anise drink) I liked it (have in mind that I am all-year ouzo drinker, so I have a taste for it :)), the Mastiha liquor was nice digestive too, I can't say the same for the AI whiskey and brandy, they did not have any taste. The coffee, which you can drink whenever you want was good quality, I liked the ice-crams too, you can eat them all the say (there were 6-7 different flavors), and lastly: there was a all the day buffet for sweets and mini sandwiches. The hotel organises themed evenings, we had a bouzuki night with dance ansamble it was very interesting and the musicians were great. The pool: the water was cool (for me personally it is good, especially for the hot weather in the Aegean), there were not sunbeds, but "sunbenches" (again for me this was not a problem, I liked the idea), the bar and snack area is situated next to the pool. If the working time of the pool was up to 19.00 o'clock, it will be better :). After the pool closes, you don not have access to the pool area, so you can not have a drink here after dinner, which is strange, but not a drama. Now the staff: the staff was very friendly and kind (everyone I saw). I would like to thank personally to Rania (she was on the reception desk, may be a manager too), she was very welcoming and helped us a lot with information. And personally thank to Voyla (she was the day shift in the bar), she makes the best strawberry smoothy every day around 10.30. For all the things in the hotel, the index "price-what you have" is great! Again thank you to the staff of the hotel, it was pleasure! Hope to see you next year!

We just arrived home and we were glad to leave. The hotel is in an ok location, easy walk to the town , bus stop across the road , but they’re the only good points ! The room we had faced the front , so a main road , and was by the stairs so we had noise from every direction , the bed was uncomfortable , the air con didn’t work properly , the tv didn’t work properly , despite asking every day for someone to come and fix it. We found a cockroach - they did come and spray the room . There are no sunbeds , there are sofas , which are not comfortable and there are not enough . The outside area is locked at 7pm so there is no outside area to sit and relax, inside is very hot! The bar area is small - 4 tables and drinks stop at 10.30pm. No entertainment or music . Very small selection of food for each meal , and it’s never hot. No snacks. There’s no information about , we had to ask for everything , the staff were not friendly , except one of the ladies on reception , and if you asked a question you got a very brief answer !

We stayed here for a week last week, we found the hotel not to be 4 stars as advertised but it was ok for what we needed. The location was good for us as it was only a 15 min walk into the old town. As for the hotel itself we arrived late and were greeted at reception all seemed ok. Our original room was on the fourth floor and was not very good we had a fridge that leaked on the 1st day, noisy AC unit, noise from the lift and on the 2nd day I noticed water coming in from the shower room ceiling, I notified reception but the issue never got fixed we were left with a hole in the ceiling and water still slowly dripping into the room, eventually we managed to change rooms but it was only until the 5th day we got to do this. The new room was now an upgraded room on the 5th floor with a pool view, we received a few extra drinks in the room for compensation but this room still had small issues the toilet flush got stuck a few times and the water pressure was low on the shower. Good things though, the staff were accommodating, rooms were cleaned daily, the food was ok a bit repetitive though and the alcohol was watered down, the all inclusive finished at 10.30pm. The area around the hotel is not the best I spotted a homeless man going through the waste bins every evening at the front and at the rear it's run down. As we arrived late on our last day they let us use the all inclusive all day which was good as we had a late flight.

on late arrival at this all inclusive hotel, there was no food or drinks available, we were told by a grumpy little man at reception "there was a kiosk down the road", that was a first for me. Room was clean, but only a single hanging rail with very few hangers (good job I bring my own), no other storage. has a kettle, but no cups, two small bottles of water in fridge on arrival, but no replenishment of water or teacoffee. Food was mostly cold if you didn't catch the tray when first put out by staff, not kept warm for some reason. Sitting in reception we saw an incredible amount of takeaways being delivered to guests at this all inclusive hotel. No outside seating area to enjoy the weather on an evening, after closing the pool area at 6pm, an important part of a holiday for me! Overall most the the staff were friendly, but this hotel does not warrant a 4 star rating in my opinion.

The food options are limited, despite being all inclusive, the lobby bar is charged after 10pm, even the water in the minibar was not replenished, they cancelled our door cards at 9am on the check out day and we could not enter after breakfast, the receptionist explained that the system was automatically closed because we were leaving today. My 6 year old child was stuck in the room. There were small ants in the room. The only good thing was that it was two separate rooms. There was almost the same menu for every meal for three days. There was no fish on an island like Rhodes. They said that if you buy tap water it is free and if you buy it from the lobby bar it is 1 euro. The location of the hotel was good.

Had a great time here. The all-inclusive was definitely worth its price, I wish I was able to stay longer for both the hotel experience and to explore more of the island.

Hotel well located 5 min walk from the old town, the buffet is very good and varied.
The downside: a lot of noise at night because many young people come to party in this hotel. We warned the reception and despite their efforts, the nights were still very restless.
